The constant action means the Harry Potter series has always lent itself well to the video-game format, and thankfully (albeit surprisingly) EA has mostly improved upon their winning formula, while upping the ante visually and adding welcome multiplayer features, easily making the Goblet of Fire their best adaptation yet.- GameSpy

While the voice command feature is interesting, games like World in Conflict, Empire: Total War, and Company of Heroes offer far more depth and are ultimately easier to recommend.- GameSpy

It's great for family gaming and the competitive edge offered makes it attractive to core gamers. If only Nintendo had bothered to include global ranked high-score leaderboards.- GameSpy

Does the formula of giant robots and three-tiered combat succeed? Definitely. But there are a few quirks along the way to deal with, most notably the anemic unit pathfinding AI.- GameSpy

The only groundbreaking things within this title are the mission-based challenges and the multiplayer games. Other than that, there's just not much new here.- GameSpy

It goes halfway towards inventing a new genre, but it can't decide whether to invent the action-RTS or the tactical-fighting game, so it ends up just awkwardly defying any sort of established gameplay conventions.- GameSpy

The cinematic cutscenes are completely uninvolving, with bored-sounding voice acting, the flimsiest of plots, and the most uninspired script imaginable. This would all be alright if the gameplay were strong.- GameSpy

The Sims 2 Pets expansion pack could be a good purchase for PC gamers, but buying it for $39.99 on consoles is the kind of choice that will only satisfy the kind of people who keep a place for their cat at the dinner table.- GameSpy

A jack of all trades and a master of none. Although it offers variety, it doesn't do anything so well that you'd want to play it again.- GameSpy

It never gets quite as fun or inventive as any of the Mario or Rayman platform games, but Tarzan: Return to the Jungle holds its own surprisingly well, and is a must-have for fans of its GBC predecessor.- GameSpy

A spirited romp, with some very basic but fun play initially, but it eventually wears thin. Its success with an individual depends entirely on how the humor strikes them. While this is certainly not a huge title and there's little innovation, I must admit I enjoyed it.- GameSpy

It's incredible how nasty and trashy this gameplay looks, when something very similar looked so great. There are a lot of really nice touches here, but they're wasted on a game that feels like a high school talent show version of a great movie.- GameSpy

Maybe the developers are just using the characters in an average game so people won't realize how average it is.- GameSpy

Some nifty gameplay mechanics and nasty enemies keep it from being an also-ran, while a little too much repetitive exploration and a short story keep it from being a contender.- GameSpy

Dark Legend's fun, I just don't think that a person with considerable skill at games will find it all that challenging. Still, if you want a good, humorous story, and are looking for something to entertain you (albeit briefly), then Dark Legend is among the better choices for the Wii.- GameSpy

Coupled with strong graphics that grow more impressive over time, as well as the standard Disney incentive to open additional animated cutscenes, Treasure Planet isn't quite the gem it could have been, but it does soar at times.- GameSpy

Its simple elements are well-blended in an adventure that only lasts about eight hours but still manages to fill its time with great fighting, fun puzzles and a general nostalgic atmosphere.- GameSpy

The animation is slick, and there are many appreciable smaller touches, but it's also tarnished by repetition and technical issues. If you've never been a fan of the series, this installment certainly won't change your mind. However, if you're a die-hard fan who was disappointed by Spider-Man 3, Web of Shadows should be right up your alley.- GameSpy

It's that lack of respect that keeps Blitz from being a truly entertaining alternative to vanilla football. Players are one-dimensional, drugs are easy to get and use, and playing the actual game itself is more about dumb luck and freaky bounces than skill and ingenuity.- GameSpy
