    140
140 provides simplistic controls in conjunction with challenging beat-based puzzle-platformer action that will take players only a few hours of their time to beat. The experience is definitely worth the cost of admission.

I would recommend JYDGE (and Neon Chrome) to anyone that wants a good, small twin-stick shooter experience.

The Chant lasts only five or six hours. Despite being funny more often than scary, the game does not make you regret the time spent in it. Although The Chant produces very contradictory sensations. None of its elements can be called outstanding, but there is nothing terrible and non-functional in the project either. It turned out to be such an average product, even with all the caveats that this is the debut work of a small studio. It can only be advised to the most ardent fans of the genre in anticipation of the new Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

WarpThrough is an indie arcade gem. The restriction to stop moving in order to attack is deceptive in that, it's the attacks and the characters themselves that define the skill required to complete levels. The short story mode and lack of lobby based online multiplayer may dissuade some players from giving this a try, but the online leaderboard will go a long way to making WarpThrough a game worth a cult following.

Clearly, Fool's Theory wanted to create a game that prioritized story, an uncluttered setting, and charismatic characters. And the studio succeeded. True, it is noticeable that they wanted a larger scope, but either there was not enough money or time. Closer to the end, even the animations seem very meager, and the endings seem chaotic. Overall, however, the team has succeeded in what they set out to do. With the success of The Thaumaturge, we can only hope they build on it and create the game of their dreams in their next outing.

60 Parsecs is this mad chaotic race to begin with that descends into slow decay. What keeps it engaging is the random layout each time you start a new game to do your 60 second dash and the different tasks assigned daily each time.

Porting to Nintendo Switch is perfect for Little Dragons Cafe as it reads like a charming children's storybook fit for any age. Although gameplay feels like it's in a loop quite quickly, the characters are memorable and the artwork nothing short of awe-inspiring.

What The Golf is an enjoyable, imaginative, sometimes satirical take on Golf. Labeled as the game for those that hate golf, most levels keep with the same underlying concept of golf, but you never truly know what you'll end up doing until you're in the thick of it. With plenty of replayability options, including multiplayer, What The Golf is a sweet little diversion that would be suitable to play with the whole family.

Aegis Defenders is out now on just about everything, but it plays really well on the Switch which is where I tested it. For $20, I’d say it’s recommended if you’re into Tower Defense or action platforming games even mildly. If they can frustrate you or turn you away, don’t bother. This isn’t up your alley.

Never Give Up is a proper progression from its predecessor, Give Up. While the gameplay may be simplistic in nature, there is still a lot of challenge here that will certainly appeal to more die hard retro platformer gamers. The pop culture and humorous comments are certain to lighten the experience of what would otherwise be a, sometimes frustrating, monotone title. Still, Never Give Up sets the stage to challenge and delight the right kind of gamer. Perhaps the type that enjoys difficult platformers as well as those that might be mildly masochistic.

The Mummy Demastered is probably going to be, like all of WayForward’s games, a bit of a niche and cult classic. It’s a movie tie-in that shouldn’t be good, but is. I have no idea how it got made, but I’m super glad it did. And honestly, I now will probably rent the Tom Cruise movie. It won’t be as fun as the game, but it does have Russell Crowe as Dr. Jekyll, so there’s that. The Mummy Demastered is out today on PS4, PC, XB1, and the Switch. It’s $20, and that feels about right for the 10 or so hours you’ll get from this throwback adventure.

The Treasure of the Midnight Isles is the most unique out of the three DLCs released up till now. It provides players with an opportunity of exploring more content as the part of the main campaign or setting out on a standalone journey - a perfect way to enjoy some Wrath of the Righteous without having to start a new playthrough or to test out an interesting build. If you enjoy challenging yourself to combat, it might be a perfect fit for you. However, if you prefer story-rich experiences, you might find the DLC lacking.

Swords & Souls: Neverseen won’t be for everyone, and it’s not a masterwork of video game art. However, Armor Games has remembered the one cardinal rule and has represented it well: a game must be fun. And it certainly was.

Blair Witch is a good homage to the film but stands on its own as a spooky, lost-in-the-woods, romp that doesn't go far enough with some of its story beats.

This game is a blast and suitable for all ages, the more people you have the greater the chaos you can create so the more laughs you'll have. There is variety in the different objects the game asks you to deliver, starting off simple and moving into crazy very quickly. You'll be delivering to the top of a blimp that flies around the island you are on via a helicopter in no time!

Infinity Nikki is hardly a real competitor to Genshin Impact and others. Yes, the game may make a lot of money, but it will hardly achieve the same fame and popularity - Infinity Nikki has a narrow theme and the gameplay lacks challenge. But it's still a great and fresh game for the gacha genre - very friendly, relaxing and with its own atmosphere. And for once, it may even be able to appeal to the more stern of men - because sometimes they want to relax, look at girls in fancy dresses and drown in fluffy kittens.

With all this packaged together, the player is presented with a well-balanced package that gives gamers a taste of what it used to be like to be called a gamer but never pushing so hard as to cause a rage quit, tip over the arcade machine and demand your quarters back.

ECHO is a short-ish game though, clocking in around 8-10 hours, so it doesn’t quite overstay its welcome. It’s a slow burn, but when it gets going it doesn’t really let go. If you’re keen on tense stealth games, with a good sci-fi story, then look no further. ECHO is destined to be a cult hit like the movie Event Horizon, and that’s no small praise from me.

Overall, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch is a fun game which works well when you get over the steep learning curve of fighting the game’s controls. Playing through the entirety of the DBZ story is a blast, and while some design flaws persisted to the port to the Switch, the game is still worth a play if you are a fan of the series.

Achilles: Legends Untold is an absolutely good game. It has a very interesting idea, and ideas nowadays are valued even more than the quality of the product itself, the game has a good leveling system, and battles can (albeit rarely) be a real pleasure (yes, I'm talking about cutting through a crowd of skeletons). But it needs a lot of polishing, and I'm not talking in technical terms, but in gameplay terms

Perhaps the greatest challenge of every Warhammer 40,000 game is to capture the scope of a massive universe with fidelity to its rich content which has influenced countless sci-fi titles while adapting to the high expectations of modern gamers. In this regard, Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr fights a bloody battle, emerging victorious, but not unscarred. It is flawed and imperfect, but I adore it for what it is: a solid Warhammer 40,000 game which draws game mechanics from its source material and brings the grim darkness of the 41st millennium into a different medium.

While the creation of Dig Dog is a true underdog tale, the game stands on its own four feet - wagging tail and all. It’s highly accessible to players of all skill ranges, but offers a challenging sandbox to play in. Overall, if you are looking for a classic arcade-style digger with a fun ambiance, Dig Dog is a very, very good boy.

Horace is a tricky one to recommend. It’s certainly a good game. It’s got challenge, it’s got style, and it’s got heart. The story takes you through a rollercoaster of a robot’s life and while there’s no narrative decisions to be made, becoming invested isn’t hard at all. However, the mad difficulty spikes will put casual platformers off. But if they stick with it, there’s a corker of a game here.

Falcon Age is a fun and interesting exploration of what happens to people being exploited by a megacorporation and how they can fight back. With the added twist of the faithful Falcon companion, this single-player game often feels like it is a co-op regardless if you are playing in VR or not. It's well worth the time for anyone who wants an interesting story with a lovable feathery sidekick.

On top of the original base game, Ittle Dew 2 + on the Switch has the Dream World which adds 5 new dungeons with their own difficulties to conquer, a new boss, and cards to collect. It's a great way to make a somewhat short game last a little longer. And trust us, Ittle Dew 2 is so charming you'll want it to last as long as it can.

You could do a whole lot worse than Cat Quest if you’re in the mood for a lighthearted RPG adventure. If you’re looking for something with a little more teeth and a little less purring, that’s what Skyrim or Zelda are for. Cat Quest is made with love, joy, and a sense of humor that’s too often forgotten in games.

The Grandia HD Collection contains an awesome soundtrack, fair visuals, and fairly decent story. Both games combat is very fluid and has that something that newer games are missing with their combat system I think.
