Smoke and Sacrifice is a game that's worth your time and money. There's a lot of game here, and a lot of replayability, though the narrative loses its surprises after the first run. At the budget price of $25 USD, it's hard not to say yes to Smoke and Sacrifice. Some better choices could have been made with the UI and the save system, but overall SnS is just as good a survival RPG as Don't Starve, with a far more serious tone and story.

A sci-fi third-person shooter that sets the player against massive hoards of giant monster, insects, and aliens. EDF lacks in story and contains intentionally bad dialogue, but you get to blow up lots of stuff.

Add to that the ability to upgrade you weapons and create potions to not help you but to cure the sick for even more delicious experience points and Vampyr hits a lot of corner stone's making for an excellent RPG. If you enjoy your story a bit on the darker side and making choices that matter, than give Vampyr a try. Vampyr is available on steam beginning June 5th for $49.99 USD, and it's worth every penny.

While The Refuge, released on the PS Vita, is not present this does not impact gameplay and the Switch version of this title is far superior to its previous mobile incarnation. The team at Coatsink has optimized this title, making excellent use of the Switch’s power. If you were disappointed by the pace of Sonic Forces and absolutely love games like Rayman Legends, then this game will have you hooked. Shu is out now in the Nintendo eShop.

It’s a game that can’t be taken as any singular part; it’s more than a satire and more than a mini-game collection. It’s a statement and a joke and an open question about the ideologies we carry with us. It’s worth experiencing.

It is story light and the allied AI still troublesome, it richly delivers a lush environment to survive within.

I found the game rather enjoyable as I could freely pick it up to play a few levels or challenges. It was nice to be able to play a quick race between cooking dinner or that small time between I need to go to bed and well going to bed. Would I recommend this game to others, yes but let’s be honest this is not for everyone? If you are simulation racer type you may find this game a bit too loose and wild.

Like many first titles in a newly born series, GreedFall is a game that features a great idea with a flawed execution. At times, it feels that the game is unsure of what it wants to be and what exactly it wants to show to the players, which brings out its imperfections. I hope that overtime Spiders has a chance to iron out the identity of the game and manage to withstand the weight of the expectations that will now fall into their laps.

This game performs well as a 2D platformer. It feels like a mix of Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog with the Shadow Core feature added into it. With your friend Stryx, you will attempt to save the dark world of Numbra from whatever comes your way. You will lose yourself in hours of gameplay and platformer fun.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that despite how polished the game feels, with its newly revamped audio tracks, revitalized roster and extemporaneous movement abilities, that I still long for the days where the X-Men filled the ranks of playable characters.

At the end of the day, Left Hand Path is doing something gamers have been clamoring for in virtual reality. It’s a hard, retro- and Dark Souls-inspired dungeon crawler that rewards exploration and doesn’t end after its first hour-long episode. Add to that a number of small touches that show the developer understands virtual reality and what it can do, and you have a game that’s definitely worth exploring, as long as you can get past the too-polygonal art and disappointing animations.

Empire of the Ants is one of the most visually-stunning strategies I have ever played. However, the game suffers from a clear lack of strong identity. It is an entertaining and novel experience with unique perspective and impressive visual prowess for a short while, but it is up to you to decide whether it is worth its price.

Where Winds Meet is a very ambitious project, which deserves all the attention it received since its launch date. The game has features and activities for every kind of player. Those who like to build can create an entire city, while socially active players can form guilds or even marry each other. There are plenty of battle challenges to satisfy the fighters and enough places for explorers to visit. With its unique blend of elements, this game appeals to a wide range of tastes. So everyone should try this free game and find out if it's the right fit.

Rain World does an excellent job in letting you know when the cycle ends, sometimes too much so as the game makes heavy use of the rumble function to let you know the end is nigh.

The biggest take away from this Nintendo Switch port of Saints Row IV is the words "outright fun". The fun is enhanced with a chock full of humour, sometimes a bit lewd, and memorable laugh-out-loud scenarios, encounters and moments. Mix in some RPG elements that include fun "superpowers" and you have a game even fans new to the Saints Row franchise can enjoy!

As a single-player experience, Team Sonic Racing is a competent, if entirely derivative, kart racer with a great cast of characters and vibrant, inventive tracks. But in multiplayer modes, it excels and stands out in its crowded field with new and exciting innovations and cooperative features that challenge the tried-and-true formula.

An interesting, topical game that touches on some important issues with regard to our connected world and the impact it can have on young people. If you go into it knowing that you need to really be on top of the UI thing, you’ll find a good story that you’ll find yourself pondering over long after the game is finished.

After seeing three episodes of Song Of Horror we still stand by our original assessment that this game has all the components of a strong horror adventure game rivalling those that many of us grew up with. Its puzzles won't wear you down with frustration, some of the real-time mini-game mechanics might. Nevertheless, the horror environments are sure to deliver a scare and an interesting mystery story.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Blooming Business: Casino, and would suggest it to any of my friends looking for a cozy, casual time. It has its fair share of bugs, but I think makes up for it with fantastic theming, colorful characters, and overall fun gameplay. If I could suggest one improvement for this game, it would be to add an eyedropper tool similar to The Sims that lets you quickly copy and paste furniture as it can get a little tedious at times to go back and forth between decor when you’re making multiple changes.

Shadow Warrior 3 is an unbridled good time with great fights and even greater one-liners. Add in some character and weapon upgrades with a great store and that is a recipe for success in my book. With the exception of the controller issues everything else in this game comes highly recommended by myself.

Rivals delivers a polished and nuanced gameplay experience, with a monetization model tacked on that stands the chance of delivering a frustrating experience or feeling like the game is nudging you to open up your wallet for a smoother experience. We’ll see if it stands the test of time, but at the very least it provides a really interesting look at what RTS can do on mobile.
