General Knoxx may suffer some as a result of all of the fiddling, but in the missteps you can see the start of something bigger than what Borderlands was originally intended to be.- GameShark

It’s challenging and enjoyable puzzles can keep puzzle lovers happily scratching their noggins for hours. It’s just a shame that the lackluster graphics, sloppy subtitles, and annoying overacting puts a damper on this game and makes it one for hardcore point and click adventure fans only.- GameShark

This is a game of beautiful sights and sounds, of collecting and learning, and the sheer joy of exploring. If you’re looking for hardcore mechanics or twitch action, you’re in the wrong place, but anyone looking for a relaxing change of pace will be right at home.- GameShark

If other games had the problems found in Deadly Premonition, they would be laughed off the 360 and into obscurity, but this game just has that staying power, that "je ne sais quoi" that makes you want to keep playing, to keep going forward, to keep unraveling the mystery, no matter how awful the controls and graphics.- GameShark

I like the concept of returning to the mansion (or its doppelganger) with a new emphasis on teamwork, and I like the two additions to Mercenaries, but there isn’t enough substance in action, storytelling, nor the puzzles to make Lost in Nightmares stand out.- GameShark

The game has cutting edge visuals and Hollywood-level production values, but the gameplay isn’t anywherenear as powerful or compelling as you would think the franchise would allow for. A real shame.- GameShark

As with all the four games before it, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth takes the usual adventure gaming tropes and surrounds them with delightfully complex cases and a healthy dollop of character whackines.- GameShark

While it's true that this specific genre, namely the mature, police adventure genre is underrepresented on the DS there are plenty of other more worthwhile adventure games that focus on investigating crimes such as the excellent Hotel Dusk: Room 215 or the long standing Phoenix Wright series.- GameShark

If BioShock 1 is ultimately about what it is to be a slave, the sequel shows – with a sophistication rarely seen in gaming – what it is to be a parent, with the power to love or to harm.- GameShark

Even with the addition of the Easy difficulty, Shiren the Wanderer is made for selective tastes. Fans of traditional RPGs will have a hard time reconciling the Spartan storytelling and visuals, while fans of turn-based strategies will likely take issue with the simplicity of combat.- GameShark

It’s not the poem in game form by any stretch – but it is a gorgeous action game – one of the best looking games you are likely to play and if you’re a 360 gamer who has never experienced a God of War game then it’s actually a fairly easy sell. However, those who know Kratos will quickly realize this is mere imitation.- GameShark

There's no question that Diplomacy makes the Sins of a Solar Empire series just 'that' much more fun, but if you couldn't find a good reason to get into the game prior to now, it's doubtful you'll find anything here to change your mind.- GameShark

Until then, I'm still going to say this game is definitely worth a look - just be aware of what you're getting into before forking over the extra cash for the nigh-indefinite-length subscription options they offer.- GameShark

Sure it’s only 320 points on Xbox Live but there’s just no real reason to grab this unless you want to hear that countess of Forli lady talk about touching and kissing her breasts and flashing her privates as she taunts some guards.- GameShark

Puzzle Chronicles certainly has its share of problems, mostly graphical in nature, but the new puzzle combat mechanic is interesting enough to rise above the issues and provide a puzzle combat experience of a decent length.- GameShark

It’s rare for a single developer to put out two large budget-AAA games in the span of a few months. It’s rarer still that both games be so incredibly good, but with Mass Effect 2 Bioware has again re-affirmed its status as the premiere developer of games whose main assets have little to do with swords or assault rifles, but the stories and characters that bring games to life.- GameShark
