With so many long-desired improvements and completely new features, SvR 2010 may be the best game of the series.

Aside from the lameness of the tutorial minigame and the occasional obtuse puzzle, this is indie gold. A fantastic, rewarding, deeply satisfying adventure with one of the most beautiful game worlds you'll see this side of a team Ico game; it's a rare must-play.

Axel and Pixel isn't breaking any new ground with its adventure puzzles but it does offer a fanciful and (mostly) low pressure gaming experience filled with plenty of delightful touches.

This is a heavy metal fairy tale, spun with love and copious amounts of good humor from Shafer and crew – and it’s every ounce the game fans hoped it would be.

Uncharted 2 is easily one of the best games released on the PlayStation 3, but also finds itself as one of the best releases across any platform in recent memory.

It may be a little out of left field, but if you have love for puzzles, platformers, or excellent blob-based fantasy realms, you’ll almost certainly enjoy it. The Wii needs more games like this one.

Even though A Witch's Tale isn't quite as easy as NIS might have expected (and grows a bit thin after the first few areas), it's still a game with an unmatched aesthetic.

Codemasters has proven that you can take a game like the original Operation Flashpoint, put it on the consoles, and make it playable - but that alone is not good enough.

It is unyielding and relentlessly unmerciful. A single stage will take hours of repetitious practice and cautious progression to complete. The reward is pride.

The puzzles are easily the game’s most enjoyable aspect, as the combat is underwhelming with few exceptions and exploring the linear facility isn’t tense or frightful.

NBA Live 10 can easily stand toe to toe with NBA 2K10, a franchise that now no longer holds complete sway over the genre. The flow of the games, the resourcefulness of the AI, and the immersion factor provided from the fantastically dynamic crowd, all serve to make this an absolutely worthwhile pickup.

Hands On!: Tangrams is a basic, casual affair of a puzzler that is perfect for killing a few minutes here and there as you go about your day. For twenty bucks the game provides a ton of puzzles in a genre not usually represented in video gaming despite having been around for hundreds of years.

Gran Turismo PSP falls short of delivering a full experience. Polyphony Digital did an amazing job on the technical side of this game, but the glaring omission of a real career and the lack of car upgrades sinks what could have been a great title.

It's hard to get sucked into a game when playing it on a three inch screen and even more difficult to be scared of a monster that's no bigger than your thumb. Obscure: The Aftermath doesn't do much to turn the tide in this regard, and if a survival borror game doesn’t give you chills, then what’s the point?
