One of the good things about the game is that it targets both boys and girls with its characters from the film -- and let's face it - you don't see too many fat kids getting leading roles in films animated or otherwise.- GameShark

A mediocre racer for a single person with a multiplayer mode that is too difficult for the very casual player.- GameShark

It does present a good, fun, rowdy terrorist hunt that offers access to detailed weapons you probably won’t find in other games, co-op support, and some interesting multiplayer action, but it’s obvious that they really didn’t bother trying much with the storyline (or just weren’t allocated enough time to put any real detail into it), and the aging graphical tech is really becoming obvious.- GameShark

"The Life" mode is intriguing, but unfulfilling, and although different, not worth the purchase price on its own. There are simply NBA games that look better, play better, and have more to offer fans than this game provides.- GameShark

Other playable modes offer a little variety to Legend Mode, such as Dream Mode, which opens up a story not seen in the manga for rabid fans to devour, and Challenge Mode featuring endless waves of enemies to slaughter again and again, but unless you're that devoted fan with every single episode of the anime series and every volume of the manga, there just isn't enough here to recommend.- GameShark

Problem is, I’ve been here before. The gameplay is nothing special. There must be a dozen games of similar design and feel. This particular title certainly hones and refines this style, but there is nothing to shout from the rooftops.- GameShark

In a world where The Beatles Rock Band exists, the paltry effort put into Guitar Hero: Van Halen is, quite simply, deplorable. If you‘re going to devote the time, money, and effort to developing a band-themed game in this franchise—then do it right. Don’t embarrass yourselves by passing something like this off as a legitimate, full-featured game.- GameShark

While not every change has been positive, the series was in desperate need of a fresh start, and now, in its sixth major iteration, it has one.- GameShark

It looks good, handles well, and has a nice variety of things to it, but it doesn't stand out when tossed in with the rest of the PlayStation library.- GameShark

If you're the type who gets angry when you lose because of something like “my arm twitched” or “the sensor bar didn't register that,” stay far away from Evasive Space; it's just going to tick you off. If you have the patience to deal with the occasional annoyance, though, Evasive Space is a unique, clever title that will make a decent addition to your Wiiware library.- GameShark

The puzzles are easily the game’s most enjoyable aspect, as the combat is underwhelming with few exceptions and exploring the linear facility isn’t tense or frightful.- GameShark

The good news is that the developers of the respective franchises are trying to regain the glory they once held. The bad news is there’s still a long way to go, especially for our purple dragon friend.- GameShark

Overall, while it's nice to see someone try to make a baseball game that's a little different from the norm, it still needs to be user friendly and easy to play; instead it's an extremely frustrating game for lefties and a barely passable game for right handed players and is best saved for the younger crowd as a rental.- GameShark

After War for Cybertron released there was a brief moment of hope that licensed games would no longer be sub-par experiences. High Moon has dashed those hopes against Transformers: Dark of the Moon and erased their earned good will in the process. If the promise of a quality movie tie-in still exists, it'll take a lot more than this incomplete, graceless game to keep that promise alive.- GameShark

Steel Diver is a very odd choice as a launch game. It's a new IP, which is great, but it doesn't exactly scream mass appeal. The 3D is used effectively, making it look like you're peering into a fish tank, complete with beautifully done dynamic backgrounds, but you can also turn it off and not have the experience change much at all. Mostly though, the biggest problem is that it's short, dull and entirely too easy. While any one of those would cause the game to spring a leak, all three sinks it right to the bottom.- GameShark

A fun romp mimicking the action of the movies; it looks good and captures the essence of the films – but it's just too easy for seasoned gamers and the lack of co-op multiplayer is a real bummer.- GameShark

All of this hammers home the notion that you're playing a really nice tech demo and not a complete football game-and the $10 discount price of $49.99 isn't enough to warrant a purchase.- GameShark

The critical flaw made by the developers however was in not paying close enough attention to their community, and realizing that in order to create a worthwhile sequel, they’d have to do more than just update the graphics and add a couple of features, which ultimately means that there’s little point to picking up Enemy Engaged 2 unless you’re new to the series.- GameShark

Perhaps the biggest failing in Black Mirror is that the ending comes too soon. After spending so much time building up this great story, the end, while logical, doesn't have the same narrative buildup as the rest of the game.- GameShark

I was happy to see that Propaganda at least put forward a decent effort and with a bigger budget and more development time, they might have been able to smooth out the game's edges and turn in something that could have been less of a "fans only" proposition and more of a mainstream contender.- GameShark

Being able to store weapons in the new Bank is also nice and with the ability to purchase extra storage slots you'll run out of good weapons before you run out of places to stick them. Still though, the sheer time sink involved to best every bit of the Underdome isn't balanced out by the rewards for doing so.- GameShark
