A bad shooter with worse excuses, and there’s little chance you’ll enjoy playing it as much as Vicious Cycle enjoyed making it. The developers relied too heavily on cheap laughs, and didn’t take advantage of the satire nearly as much as they should have. Instead, they used it as a crutch, explaining missing features and other problems on the game’s premise – an excuse that grows thin quickly, as far too often, it’s used to the detriment of the player instead of to their benefit.- Gamervision

If the game were actually simplified and released as a downloadable title for the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, or Wiiware service it might be worth checking out, but as a full title, even at a discounted price, it isn’t worth the trip to the store.- Gamervision

With its baffling design choices and shoddy controls, Rygar: The Battle of Argus fails to deliver as much fun and satisfaction as the original game.- Gamervision

It's not a broken game, just a joyless one, and it's obvious that there were far too many hands in the pot.- Gamervision

The story is a snoozer, and without previous exposure to the characters and their world, it won’t make much sense. It’s also short, ugly, boring, tedious and unbalanced, and offers nothing new or innovative to the genre.- Gamervision

This decent idea got buried under glitches, a bad camera, and frustrating gameplay, and there seems to be no reason for that to have happened.- Gamervision

While I don’t recommend it for most things in life, in this case, judging a book by its cover works just fine. X-Blades is exactly what you expected it to be; a mediocre fantasy action game with a heroine that appeals to the basest of men’s instincts.- Gamervision

If a dungeon-crawler with mediocre graphics, terrible combat, annoying characters, and no story sounds appealing to you, then you should definitely run right out and buy this game.- Gamervision

To say MLB Front Office Manager was a good attempt at a console management simulation is like spitting on your dirty dishes and saying they’re washed.- Gamervision

Marvel Super Hero Squad’s popular source material, cute story, charming cut scenes, and fun personality will likely put the game into the hands of many young gamers and super hero fans. Most of those kids, however, will quickly tire of the game’s dreary gameplay, shoddy camera, unreliable controls and overall lack of depth and polish.- Gamervision

After each round, you’re forced to watch a 20 second animation of the dealer paying out to the winners and collecting cards and chips from all the players. While it may be nice to see the first few times, 20 seconds between rounds is a long time to wait, and after 10 or 12 rounds, it can be infuriating.- Gamervision

With mediocre gameplay, even worse graphics, an annoying soundtrack, and almost no incentive to play for more than twenty minutes, this game doesn’t even warrant a rental.- Gamervision

Multiplayer over WiiConnect 24 works surprisingly well, but a functioning online system isn’t enough to get over the broken, unresponsive, and unentertaining fighting mechanics of the game.- Gamervision

A decidedly capable arcade-style flyer that’s a bit short on content, but big on tight gameplay and challenge. If you can find someone to play the multiplayer modes with, you’ll be better served by this title, but the singe-player campaign is well worth playing as well.- Gamervision

The repetitive missions and lack of any replayability can make the few short hours spent in 2016 barely tolerable, and don't justify any more than a rental from anyone. While it's far from the worst movie tie-in this generation, it does little to change the stigma, and is best left untouched on store shelves.- Gamervision

Lux-Pain is a game built on some interesting ideas that feel like they were never fully fleshed out, and the result is a half-baked title that most gamers will probably want to abandon after a few minutes.- Gamervision

The stories told in the five chapters are no better then ones that could be seen on television and the gameplay is basically "hit the A button until the plot progresses," so you may be better served just watching some episodes of the show.- Gamervision

Stormrise is an example of a good idea gone horribly wrong. It almost feels like Creative Assembly, the developer, became so enamored with the novelty of the Whip Select mechanic that they neglected to even attempt to make the game enjoyable.- Gamervision

There's the makings of a cool game in here, but the sloppy controls, brutal and bizarre death penalty, imbecilic camera, and a host of other small issues add up to it being more of a chore to play than remotely enjoyable.- Gamervision

If you loved "Wii Sports" (and I mean REALLY loved it,) don’t mind terrible motion controls, and have two or three friends willing to play a few sub-par mini-games, then Summer Sports: Paradise Island may be worth a rental. For most Wii owners, though, it stands as just another in a string of third-party disappointment.- Gamervision
