Now, in MLB Front Office Manager, he passes that knowledge on to gamers. MLB Front Office Manager offers two distinct game modes. Become the GM in Career Mode, and manage a team through a 30 year career that hopefully leads to the Hall of Fame.     2K and Blue Castle Games are definitely on the right path but I think they could have spent a few more months or so to finish the game before releasing it; though, with Spring training camps on the way and the upcoming release of MLB 2K9 it’s understandable as to why the publisher decided to release MLB Front Office Manager right away. If you can get past the technical nuisances of the game, you will find a really interesting and enjoyable management simulation, one that actually tests your wits.

    This game had great potential, but unfortunately it fails to deliver. Only the most hardcore baseball fanatics are going to be able to stomach the breadth and depth of this title. I'm a pretty big baseball fan, and it was even too much for me.

    There are a considerable number of issues holding MLB Front Office Manager back. Lack of three-team deals, a mediocre interface, and questionable AI logic are unacceptable even from a new IP. I hope 2K gives Front Office another go next year, because with some fixes to very obvious issues, this could be a great game.

    I'm glad they made an effort to bring a baseball sim game to consoles but this game is terrible. I'm not sure they did one thing even ok, there is probably 15-20 major fixes that need to be addressed. Maybe they will put some effort into it for next year because i think there is a market for this stuff. The franchise mode in the show is way better than this piece of crap.… Expand

    I'm a baseball fan, and based on the reviews here, I didn't expect a great, or even a good game. But I was surprised by a failure on so many levels: design, programming, and artistic. No offense to any of the people who probably worked quite hard to make this with little time and little budget, but at some point you have to look at the result and go, why bother?    … Expand
