In the end, NPPL Championship Paintball 2009 is exactly what it advertises itself as – a paintball game made for paintball fans.

It’s not broken, but every aspect is terribly designed.

Activision panicked, all right, and they fired on all cylinders back at Skate, ready to prove that their series had what it takes to get back on top. Sadly, for fans of Tony Hawk, every shot missed its target. Tony Hawk: Ride was a knee-jerk reaction by a publisher who pushed gimmick over gameplay, and the result feels like the most manufactured, soulless gaming experience to ever be released.

Taking an obsolete game and giving it a second-rate DS port only makes the experience more painful.

The game isn't very good, and can't even be considered a decent time waster. It fails to be enjoyable or fun to play, and despite trying incredibly hard, fails to give gamers a hook to keep coming back for more. I don't often wish for my time back after playing a video game, but Naughty Bear was easily one of the worst games I've ever played.

Even for a movie tie-in, GI Joe feels like a rush job. It’s not a terrible game by any means; the game mechanics mostly work, there’s plenty of variety to the characters, scores of things to unlock, and even playable Cobra characters like Storm Shadow and Firefly. It’s just that everything it does has been done much better by many different games.

The best thing I can say about Coraline is that it’s not broken. It works, and just about anyone could play it from start to finish, but I don’t understand why anyone would want to.

Were this a non-licensed product, it would be a below-average action title with little to recommend. The fact that it stars a popular super hero definitely helps, as does the passable plot and enjoyable script, making Iron Man 2 a title that’s just barely worth playing.

It's a shame, because there's likely something deep within that's worth paying attention to, but it is surrounded so completely by problems that it simply cannot be worth the effort.

Ju-On: The Grudge is the kind of game that should only be purchased as punishment – a modern day equivalent of putting coal in a child's stocking for Christmas.

Onechanbara on the 360 looks terrible. I forgave a lot of the graphical problems the Wii version had since it was a game on the Wii. No next-gen game should ever look this terrible, even if it does only cost $40.

Attack of the Movies 3-D is one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time.

The controls are iffy, the soccer is inconsistent, and the game simply cannot hold its own against the far superior products EA released ages ago.

An awful game that no one should consider buying or even renting. You’ll get pretty much the same experience watching a bad boxing match on an old UHF TV while wildly swinging two turkey legs around.

I’m sad to say that not only did the game not live up to what it could have been, it actually lowered the bar for any other steampunk western that follows; though I can’t see too many developers jumping at the chance to outdo this game.

Aside from the ridiculously terrible story, the 6 year-old graphics, broken AI, and lack of replay value, ShellShock 2: Blood Trails doesn’t sound too bad does it?

The very fact that there's an attempt to charge $60 is insulting. Save your money, spend it on anything else, and forget Rogue Warrior ever existed.

With lackluster multiplayer offerings and one of the shortest singleplayer campaigns in recent memory, Rogue Warrior is a smudge on Bethesda’s otherwise stellar record.

Awful controls, boring missions, a terrible camera, hideous characters, and juvenile, unfunny dialogue make Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust one of the worst games in recent memory, and, if there’s any justice in the world, will mark the end of this poor, abused franchise.

Please, for your sake and mine, stay far away from this game. Even if you get it for free. Even if you get paid to take it. Even if they make it so the DS only plays one game, and this is it, I can’t recommend it. Awful.

When you’re finally able to find an animal to shoot, the kills are rewarding thanks to realistic body physics, but those moments are so few and far between that it’s hard to justify the effort spent searching for them.

There is stat tracking, but it’s not very in-depth, and with a game so basic that it’s commonly played with blocks of wood I have to think it could have been fleshed out into a different, though similar experience.

For me, someone who tries to exercise as regularly as possible, it was something refreshing and new, and I’ll definitely keep it up; also, the discounted $30 price point is more than a fair deal for the hours of exercise you will get out of it.

The presentation is better, there are options enough to allow basic customization of your chosen game and the 'undo' feature alone puts this game ahead of Touch Solitaire.

If you're a fan of The Sims 3, High-End Loft Stuff is a no-brainer. It adds enough new items to build and decorate homes with a completely distinctive style, and brings back a few objects that were missing.
