I have a hard time recommending the game to the types of gamers who would find The Academy appealing from its description. Adventure gamers looking for a Harry Potter experience will be disappointed in how bland the world of The Academy is. Puzzle gamers will be disappointed in the overall quality and challenge of the puzzles. And Professor Layton fans, well, maybe The Academy will give them an even greater appreciation for how well-designed the Professor Layton games are.- Gamers' Temple

The main reason to play NBA 08: The Life v3 is not to play a basketball game but to get involved with The Life. If you're wanting a good "basketball" game there are better options.- Gamers' Temple

Crysis Remastered has issues like texture pop-ins and getting stuck under jetties. However, its graphical overhaul makes it like a flower with thorns - prickly but beautiful.- Gamers' Temple

As much as I wanted to love Warlocks 2, the combat just is so sloppy, so clumsy and so - frankly - impossible that all the stuff the game does splendidly, it almost doesn't matter. Tons of characters, a funny story, great graphics and sound... none of it can escape the crushing weight of the just plain bad combat. QubicGames will forever have a soft spot in my heart, but this is definitely a misfire in their expansive catalogue. Skip this one; get Rekt instead.- Gamers' Temple

Downhill Jam is not a bad game per se, it’s just that there’s not enough in here to make up for everything that’s been taken out of the normal Tony Hawk game.- Gamers' Temple

Soltrio Solitaire can only really be recommended to those who really enjoy the card game and simply have to play it on their Xbox 360. For everyone else there’s just not enough here that’s different or exciting enough to warrant buying and downloading the game.- Gamers' Temple

Friend or Foe’s single player is anything but a good time. You’ll be mashing buttons, setting up some cool looking but otherwise unimpressive combos and rolling your eyes through some of the most obvious boss fights since the NES days.- Gamers' Temple

Backbreaker is trying to break into a genre that is dominated by a 2,000 pound gorilla and for that alone I applaud them. However they need to do some serious enhancements, maybe even illegal ones, in order to be taken seriously.- Gamers' Temple

At its core, Front mission Evolved is a run-of-the-mill action shooter that wastes the opportunities its got in giant robot combat. The game only occasionally frustrates, but never really wows the player, either.- Gamers' Temple
