The game's complicated control scheme takes a little getting used to, and adjusting the arc of the ballista's shots can be frustrating at times. The game likes to turn small stick movements into large changes in trajectory, which is a problem when you need to precisely place your shots to bring down a retaining wall or an enemy knight. I didn't have this issue when playing the original game, so I don't know how or why it made its way into the VR version. Overall, I enjoy the game's presentation, the cool 3D feel to its playing field, and its quirky mash-up of genres, but I have to dock the VR version points for its finicky controls.- Gamers' Temple

A unique game that is definitely worth a look by anyone looking for a gaming change of pace. Its long term appeal is questionable, though.- Gamers' Temple

Quake Wars is a cut above the average online shooter, but it can't quite match up to the top tier games or its PC cousin.- Gamers' Temple

Battleborn can deliver some enjoyable moments, but the lack of modes and maps, long match times, and excruciatingly slow progression combine to make the game feel like a grind more often than not.- Gamers' Temple

RemiLore is a cute hack-and-slash for kids and adults alike. Its procedurally generated dungeons and enemies serve as a good grind. And with 213 weapons and several costumes to unlock, the game made me embrace my inner collector spirit. While its weak story and overall shallowness cannot be overlooked, those looking to mess around with the gameplay modifiers, couch co-op mode, and vast array of weapons will be satisfied.- Gamers' Temple

Overall, I’d say that this is a good video game adaptation of a board game – the AI is competent enough to be challenging to average player, but not so strong as to be frustrating, and the graphics put the original cardboard and plastic game to shame visually. I wish there was more information on the rules and even gameplay tips, though, as well as more gameplay customization options. CATAN: Console Edition won’t replace sitting around a board with friends, but it’s a good enough option if you want to learn the game or just take a board game break when you can’t round-up your friends for a game night.- Gamers' Temple

The final sequence to the game is quite interesting, but so very cryptic with the way it all ends up. If the next episode(s) of the game can fill us in more on what is going on and add more depth to the characters, this game series could have a good amount of potential, but as a standalone game, Home Sweet Home feels too incomplete to rank high among many other indie horror titles.- Gamers' Temple

Combine the impatience of others and the almost endless random item grind and I do not see a casual audience getting swept away in the Warhammer hype by this game. Even Warhammer fans should make note that just because you may know the lore of the series it won't grant you a wonderful team experience ... but it may grant you some street cred to get you by.- Gamers' Temple

For a movie licensed game, Kung Fu Panda isn't that bad at all. The Wii version has some controller and graphical issues but it still doesn't take away from the fun of the game that much.- Gamers' Temple

The DLC has a few hidden items such as monoliths and documents. Players will be given a new outfit, a new skill, and a new gun for completing the side mission. The DLC has its own set of trophies/achievements to earn. The Forge is also unlocked as a score and time attack challenge tomb on the main menu. Overall, The Forge DLC adds some interesting story for Abby's character and a fun new challenge tomb for a small fee.- Gamers' Temple

This disappointment will be amplified for many gamers by the fact that the game retails for the same price as Guitar Hero II. You get less than half the tracks, fewer characters, no costume changes, and fewer arenas for the same price.- Gamers' Temple

In the end, The Last Resort feels less like a continuation of the series, and more like a time-waster: it's as if the developers wanted an episode to get a feel for the characters and style of the game, before diving back into the kind of game that Fright of the Bumblebees was.- Gamers' Temple

The game is best enjoyed in the same manner as it delivers its action – in short doses. As a budget title it’s not bad as a mindless alien-blasting diversion or a walk down memory lane for older gamers who grew up in the top-down view era. If you’re looking for deep immersive gameplay you won’t find it here, but it fits the bill when you’re in the mood for some quick and easy action.- Gamers' Temple
