Overall PIU is best enjoyed by DDR fans looking for a little challenge. The game is too brutal on beginners to win many converts as only the patient and diligent will stick with it long enough to get good at it.

Vanquish wasn't what I envisioned when seeing the trailers and reading the hype surrounding it. I think there is a fan base for these types of games and even for its creator Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil and director of The Evil Within. This game is far from those two games. It reminds me of going to the movies or the bowling alley and playing an over-the-top, action-based arcade game until I ran out of quarters 15 minutes later. The arcades were there to fill a void for a few minutes of time, not to entertain for several hours. Granted the style of game fits the bill for the amount of time I have to play these games but if you are looking to sink your teeth into a game to get lost in for several hours, maybe even days, this may not be for you.

Heart of the Forest is a decent visual novel but not long enough to make much of an impact for the series.

Like Bunnylord himself, fun at first and then a bit of a grind.

There probably won't be any reviews claiming the game is awful or unplayable, but Mercenaries 2 has the distinct disadvantage of being too little too late on next-gen systems with far better choices for your gaming dollar.

Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets is an overall decent survival horror. The enemies in the game do get annoying, but you eventually get used to it. The game can actually be quite tough at times. There were points where I got a bit concerned about ammo, which is quite rare with survival horrors nowadays. If you enjoy RE7 and its overall horror atmosphere, be sure to give this game a try. I feel you’ll enjoy the game the most. The game is also comparable to Fobia: St Dinfna Hotel, which also played like RE7 overall, so if you like either of these games, Jack Holmes is worth a shot.

While Summon Night 5 might be a novelty by being playable on a deader than dead system, it only gets a halfhearted recommendation from me.

It's not without its share of the frustrating aspects of the adventure game genre, but Dracula: Origin still manages to provide an interesting story and some good gothic atmosphere.

The game's arcade-like action can be fun at times, but its difficulty level and lack of mid-mission saves will quickly make it too frustrating for many players.

Overall, I had a little fun with the game, but more so early on, before the basic level designs began to feel too simple and repetitive. There's a good core in place here, so it would be nice to see a sequel with more interesting level designs and a longer game length.

As such, it's not for the general gaming public and the casual gamer should stay very, very far away from it. On the other hand, those who like a good challenge, thrive in the face of difficulty, and have the patience to die a thousand deaths may find a lot to love here.
