The goals of playing What Remains of Edith Finch? are partly to answer the title's question for yourself, learn the tragic history of the Finch family, and see if the Finch deaths are part of some curse as the locals believe or merely a series of misfortunate accidents. The house and Edith's traversal of it, as well as the gameplay sequences for each family member, serve to drive that story and perhaps answer those questions. If you're looking for a more traditional adventure game, you may be disappointed by it and its short length. Otherwise the game comes highly recommended; it's an experience you'll remember for quite a while after you finish the game.

Mundaun has got an interesting story to tell and it also has multiple endings. There are quite a few secrets to be found for the curious that want to go about exploring its open world. The game clocks in at around 8 hours long for me – probably around 6 hours for most people that don’t get sidetracked too easily. Mundaun is a creative masterpiece of a horror game. If you enjoy horror games make sure you give this game a try.

0RBITALIS isn't for everyone. It's pretty challenging, requires patience and perseverance, and once you've made your move there's nothing left for you to do but watch the laws of physics take over. But if you're anything like me, you'll find all of that fascinating.

What Titanfall 2 boils down to is the kind of experience that you are looking for. I already had somewhat of a salty opinion from what I had seen of the first game although I also had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and was blown away within the first hour of playing. Each day I went to work I couldn't wait to come home and play more.

I imagine that some gamers who played this pair of Tony Hawk games back in the day may find some nits to pick with it, but for me it’s been so long since I played the originals, I can’t say that I’ve got any of those sorts of complaints. The levels do jog some memories for me, and the modern facelift keeps THPS3+4 from ruining any nostalgic memories for me. If you missed the gamed the first time around, you’ll probably be quite happy with THPS3+4 – there’s a lot to enjoy here and all of the various aspects of the game are well-implemented and come together quite nicely.

The soundtrack is easily one of the best I have heard for a fighter. All Guilty Gear games have a beautiful rock soundtrack and Strive certainly does too. The game has many lyrical rock tracks. If you’re the slightest bit curious about this game be sure to give it a try. I’m not even really a fan of Guilty Gear, but I instantly loved Guilty Gear Strive when I first started to play it. It’s easy to tell a good fighter when the game feels so fluid and easy to pick up and play from the beginning. In this day and age, fluid online play means a lot for a fighter and Strive definitely has you covered there as well.

I greatly enjoyed my time with Bloodless. It’s got some incredibly interesting visuals and everything about the game just works so well. It’s near perfection. The only real problem I have with the game is that battles can sometimes get a bit too intense once you get crowded into a corner. Thankfully, save points are everywhere, so every skill level can eventually work their way through tough battles. I highly recommend this game to fans of Dark Souls and someone that just wants a good samurai action experience. Players that like an artistic-style game will find plenty to enjoy with Bloodless as well.

After spending time with Guardians of Middle-earth I can see why MOBAs on PC have a dedicated following, while at the same time I'm surprised that it took so long for a serious, full-fledged MOBA to appear on consoles. If you like the Resident Evil series in any way, you need to give Resident Evil Requiem a try. It’s such a great blend of the newer RE’s all in one game. RE7 is often said to be the scariest RE (some say too scary) and RE4 is said to be the most fun in terms of gameplay and this game combines both of them. Between the two character scenarios it offers a lot of variety. No matter which system you choose to get this on, just buy it. You can’t go wrong with any console – it’s a blast either way.

Overall, RE Village is a fantastic RE game with some minor flaws here and there. It takes just about everything from RE7 and makes it better. RE Village loses much of the horror in RE7, but it makes up for it with everything else. I really feel it’s impossible to not like this game more than RE7 and this is coming from a person that greatly enjoyed the horror aspect of RE7. I was a complete naysayer once I saw that RE Village had more of an action approach and was proven wrong by the end of the game. Resident Evil Village is really good and is a definite pickup if you’re an RE fan.

Assassin's Creed Origins delivers at least 30 hours of gameplay if you stick to the story and enough of the side quests to help you level up along the way. There's plenty in the game to keep you occupied well beyond that mark, and it's a testament to the game's design that the game world provides a legitimate and tempting distraction to what's an intriguing and exciting story in its own right. Hopefully Origins is the origin of a new renaissance in the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is nothing like those game collections. I thoroughly enjoyed making my way through each chapter - the videos are fascinating and playing the games after learning about the story behind them made me see some old favorites in an entirely new light. Much like Scorpion in the original Injustice, Sub-Zero has been toned down from his usual MK appearance but he is a lot of fun to play in Injustice 2. You can't pin a player down with an ice klone anymore since the ice klone will not form if Sub-Zero performs the move too close to his opponent and he needs meter in order to freeze his opponent from long range so his game plan has changed quite a bit from his MKX appearance. He retains his light damage gameplay and he is still a defensive fighter, so MK fans will be familiar with him, but he still has a different feel to him which makes him more appealing to play.
