A decent golf game, but has it's share of problems.

The graphics look sharper, the creatures look and move more realistically, the items are impressive, and the quests seem to be a little deeper.

While not perfect by any means, there's enough fun in Bombing Run and Double Domination alone to make this one worth picking up for some multiplayer fun.

Due to its paltry length and lack of decent multiplayer options, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend this game. It is, however, a solid offering.

The multiplayer component truly makes for the great replay value as you can play as Yuri’s forces while online but not in Single player.

The game is complicated, and the combat is uninspired, but overall the experience is a positive one. Plus, it makes a great way to study for a history test.

Monkey Island is still the best place to play.

The graphics for Moto Racer: Advance are top notch and make it truly a great game to play on the GameBoy. The gameplay is just as much fun as any racing game I have ever played.

It's extremely fast, it's even more intense, and it has replay value to boot. What more could you ask for in an arcade racer?

The ultimate test of any game is how much you want to play it after you stop and quite frankly I found myself wanting to play "FreeSpace 2" or "Starlancer" while I was playing Allegiance. I didn't really like it, but it is a good game, it's just not for everybody.

The gameplay is simple but never lacking, keeping me glued to the screen.

Enriching the gameplay experience significantly, the audio design stands out among the best this year. Sound effects garnish every movement and action, equally emphasizing visual and audio stimulation.

Massive character creation tools, diverse city landscapes, powerful abilities and enemies, huge groups of powerful heroes fighting alongside each other and the list goes on and on showing this massively multiplayer game is not like so many out there.

Give this improbable but welcome follow-up the benefit of the doubt and chances are you’ll find it offers some of the most action, humor, and--dare I say it--fun you’ve had with a console RPG in a long time.

It's a lot of fun, features some good writing and an engaging story, and is the best first person RPG experience I have had in years.

The excellent implementation of combat among an army, combined with the large variety of gameplay and an excellent campaign story make this game truly shine.

Definitely one of the more interesting governing and building game out there. It is unique in a lot of ways, and the gameplay is excellent.

If you're looking for a great action game that has an extremely intense feeling to it and 30+ hours of gameplay (excluding multiplayer), then this game is for you.

The controls are tight and deep, the Dynasty Mode is great, and the gameplay is realistic and fun.

This is the only game I have played where Depends ™ should be in the System Requirements. There are more "leave a stain on the upholstery" moments in the first chapter of this game than in most horror/flasher flicks.

The game is immensely fun, and incredibly innovative. It takes what is great about Monopoly and transfers it perfectly into the builder genre.

Although it borrows heavily from "Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II," Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest is an improved experience full of visual and audio beauty, and outstanding gameplay.

Deep character customization and development systems utilizing the series’ unique job system makes the game highly enjoyable and rewarding.

While it appears to be ridiculous, I found it to be the most entertaining game I have played in a long while.

The game executes soundly, and feels more polished than the original Morrowind.

Once I reached that Zen state of immersion, it felt as though the controller and I were one entity, working together to achieve a common goal. As I wove through a barrage of bullets, deftly changing colors in order to survive, I knew that Treasure had crafted a jewel.

Adds some needed worldly interaction into The Sims, which is a welcome addition to the game.

I will keep Alice for as long as my feeble mind can handle it.

All in all any fan of RTS would be foolish if they did not run to the local game store and pick up a copy of Generals immediately.

The only thing I can complain about is the sound, but the added features and modes definitely make this worthy of a purchase in my books.

A variety of paths for each mission promises near infinite replayability.

The perfect balance of non-linear gameplay and plot development, the game offers a unique experience that successfully evolves the gameplay of the original. More so than any other game, it allows complete player-driven gameplay in the progression of the story and character development.

An excellent racing game that has plenty of depth and unlockable features.

The turn based strategy game was surprisingly fast paced-there is so little waiting that I almost felt like I was playing an RTS.

With the updated graphics and cool God Mode this game will give you hours and hours of tinker and tweak gaming pleasure.

Improving an already outstanding game is a Herculean feat and Age of Mythology: The Titans has certainly succeeded.

If trains are your bag, this is your program. There are other train simulators out there, but this is bar none the most polished, most complete, and with a company like Microsoft backing it up, likely to be the best supported of them all.

Super Mario Advance might be nothing more than a beefed-up port of an old game, but hell, it’s a Nintendo classic.

The thing that makes this game good enough to warrant purchase is its clever design and game play, along with graphics that’ll have your eyes bugging out of your head.

A great mix of tactical shooter and strategy based gameplay that, although fun, stumbles a bit due to the limitations within the game.

Onimusha 2 avoids the mistake made by the previous title in placing difficult puzzles, often under a time limit, at awkward points in the game.

While not ground breaking in the graphics department the addition of psychic powers to your arsenal not only provides for some excellent new forms of combat it also provides for a great source of replay value.

A fun third-person shooter with some uneven gameplay issues.

The game is not incredibly long but still should take about 10-12 hours to beat the first time through.

With an incredible, engrossing campaign, Halo could stand on its own; fortunately, the addition of Internet multiplayer sweetened with two new vehicles, two new weapons, and six new maps makes the PC version even more worthwhile. Unfortunately, performance issues plague the game, preventing easy play through the game’s campaign due to poor framerates.

It is the best RPG experience you can find on Xbox to date (sorry "Morrowind," you were impressive, but you were just not that much fun).

Definitely not flashy in the presentation department, Gal Civ more than makes up for it with excellent gameplay that is updated with new tweaks, bug fixes, and content very often.

As with all console versions of PSO, serious design flaws significantly detract from the game, namely poor enemy AI and sensory awareness, horrible targeting, and a thin plot.

A very good game...Though, one simple fact remains constant. The engine is truly showing its age.

May not be perfect, as it does have some flaws in the graphics department and enemy A.I. causing the game to seem unbalanced at times, but with the new features and enhanced gameplay of this title easily makes it a Must Have game.

Overall, the game is clean and reminds me of the old "Pacific Strike" from Origin, though more playable and it doesn't crash my computer.

Xenosaga's biggest strength - an incredibly deep, often thought-provoking storyline - could end up being its commercial downfall. The abstract philosophical references and heavy religious imagery bookending the sheer glut of cinematics may simply prove to be too much for the casual gamer to handle.

A terrific title. Allowing gamers to go through each mission either sneaking around and sporting disguises in third-person mode or blasting your way through waves of guards in first-person mode, the game is a lot of fun.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to all people in search of a good flight sim -- or just a chance to be a daredevil pilot.

Colorful, detailed, and challenging, the game evolves the series’ gameplay and style. With a ton of unlockable features, including extras available only with connection to a GameCube, Rayman 3 has plenty of playing value.

Intense, energetic, and simply fun, you’re sure to need a shaken martini after experiencing the action-packed gameplay of James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing.

The focus on cash and reputation provides a nice break from the usual fair. If you like giant walking robots , then you have to get this game.

A new combination counter and streamlined abilities system make playing the game easier and more rewarding. Dramatically reducing the penalties for death, as well as the roots causes behind it, make playing Maximo vs. Army of Zin a less frustrating and more pleasant experience.

Rally Trophy claims to be the only Rally racing game based on historic automobiles… So What!?! Historic or not, they are still just tools used to get around the same old boring tracks.

The only problems were with the interfaces, which get confusing and messy, kind of like my desk, so I guess that is a little too realistic.

It offered fair and fun gameplay and easy controls that were simple to maneuver...For a non-sports game fan, I was delighted to play a sports game and like it.

The rich, continuing back story is among the most fascinating found in the MMORPGs, and the fact that players can take part in the story truly adds to the experience.

The game is held back from greatness by a few gameplay issues that sometimes create feelings of repetitiveness (in campaign mode), confusion (losing track of heroes and important characters in battle), and frustration (heroes dying because you cannot locate them in pitched battles, and accidentally misdirecting troops due to erroneous mouse clicking).

Despite the recycled graphics engine and undulating difficulty, Shadow Magic offers outstanding gameplay with unlimited playability in a variety of gameplay modes.

George’s finely crafted witticisms and Nico’s finely crafted, er, investigative skills make the game a pleasure to play; moreover, the plot is engrossing and really pushes you to keep gaming in an effort to uncover more of the nefarious scheme being perpetrated.

The graphics are quite goods, as are the maps, with lots of little places to work around and use for cover. For the snipers out there, you will be pleased.

It will push you to be a better gamer, but once complete it has little replay value.

Were it not for the lack of Xbox Live support, the somewhat tedious pace of the Career mode..., Sega GT would be nothing less than a "Gran Turismo" killer.

The game's gorgeous graphical presentation makes for a pleasant experience that eases the moments when excessively polished design bogs gameplay down.

Overall, the game puzzles are too easy, which makes the game boring at times.

I was amazed at the strength of the gameplay. With the tremendous online abilities and the multiple options for each player, the game has great depth.

Beyond some pesky micromanagement at times, Earth & Beyond is a well thought out and executed MMPOG in the voids of space, offering a compelling and expanding storyline set far into the future where you can actually explore the galaxy that we only dream of exploring today.

Overall the game was more than I expected and truly made me feel like I was onboard a starship.

Tries to avoid the woes of its predecessors by injecting some modern, albeit derivative, gameplay, but fails to really explore the platform it is built upon.

At its very heart, it’s Doom, and the graphics can be bad, the music can stink the place out, and the Cyber Demon can be taken out, but there’s still that sick satisfaction that comes with blowing up a ring of barrels around a group of demons and watching them explode into a pile of goo.

There’s just something about running and jumping that never gets old, and it’s precisely this indescribable “something” that, despite the outdated play mechanics and antiquated visuals, allows me to bestow a wholehearted recommendation upon Anniversary Collection.

That's one of the beauties of a game like AC: there really isn't an end game, or a finale. The world just keeps going and going, with new adventures and new locations to explore constantly available.

While the improvements made to driving are welcome, as are the new courses and characters, the gameplay ultimately suffers due to poorly designed putting.

The dark and mature theme gave this game a distinctive feel and the graphics take the player in deep within the prison world.

It's biggest strength is its tutorial and teaching ability. The sheer knowledge of chess that can be gained by moving through the tutorials or by simply playing against the computer is amazing.

It doesn’t do much to further the genre.

While the average base capture can be pretty repetitive, there are huge difficult battles every so often that are more fun than anything, and these will keep me coming back for awhile.

An outstanding achievement in tactical action, Freedom Fighters soars to the top of the genre with spot-on gameplay and solid visuals. Streamlined tactical controls and solid AI make playing the game easy and fun.

The graphics are astounding, the levels are very clever.

The 3D environment works seamlessly, the graphics are above average, and the addition of fighting styles and currencies puts this over the top as being more than a rehashed fighter.

It's an all around feast for your eyes, ears, and gaming appetite.

The variety of options available made me enjoy this game more, but it balanced out with the not so great graphics and audio.

While not as deep as "Virtua Fighter 4," I actually found Dark Alliance much more entertaining.

It is a masterful piece of RTS gaming that will entrench those who dare to delve into it deep into the thrills of deep space combat. At first it is a little overwhelming with the ability to jump from one map to another. It is enough to lose a lot of players. But for the hardcore RTS fan this game will be a true gem.

If you are interested in solving a mystery and running down dangerous corridors then this is the game for you.
