This thing is damned short. If anyone over the age of 15 puts in more than four hours into this, it either means they’ve left it on and forgotten about it, or they’re supplementing the play experience by simultaneously experimenting with stem cell research.

The creative use of player control to determine the gameplay and story delivery is an industry-leading feature.

The best thing about this is the fact that every task, adventure and puzzle is fun and entertaining. It’s a fast paced game that is enjoyable for all ages.

There really is minimal complexity to the game, no crafting for example, but yet it still has that addicting effect.

Brutally Hardcore would be a good quote I think. Lineage 2 is an unforgiving game and makes no apologies, a laudable stance in the dollar-whipped, weak-willed world of MMO Live Teams.

In some ways the game feels like an expansion, or maybe a half-sequel. It doesn’t have as many levels as Hitman 2, but they’re longer, and usually more interesting.

A smart strategic addition to a solid, turn-based strategy game.

But obviously, the gameplay is incredibly repetitive. There’s no denying that you don’t do much beyond running around shooting monsters and blowing up stuff.

But raising the levels of difficulty for both will not only make the game hard to play, as the rewards you can gain make up for that. Finishing the game on various levels of difficulty again, you can obtain various bonus weapons and even a bonus ending.

The questionable control scheme, coupled with some cheap AI catch-up, doesn’t hamper the play experience enough to bring it down.

It offers a very nice graphical engine, great voices and sound effects, and an incredibly addictive and intense story line.

As usual, Multiplayer is where it’s at. There’s just too much good stuff balled up into one package here not to have two or more humans at the helm, bashing their heads against one another in an RTS royale cage match.

It takes quite some time to get used to the slow reaction of your car, but doesn’t prevent you from winning races right from the start – DDA wants you to destroy your environment rather than to skilfully avoid obstacles.

While it is not exactly groundbreaking, the game has a solid, polished feel to it. Its only real fault is that the single player mode is on the short side when it comes to number of hours one expects to put into a strategy game before completing it.

The storyline isn’t entirely as interesting as it was in the previous incarnation, and not all the characters may be as fleshed out as they could be but it still does a good job of concluding the story.

A solid, enjoyable if ultimately mediocre RTS.

The sheer amount of sound effects and spoken dialogue is quite impressive, and the musical score isn’t too shabby either.

For the first time in over a year I found an MMORPG I can stand to play for more than a few weeks.

I love the fact that someone has finally made a game that can look truly good and take advantage of higher-end PC hardware instead of going for less detail in order to allow more people with slower PCs to run the game.

It does improve upon a lot of things, but I do wish they’d include more game mechanics that we hadn’t seen before. Even so, the game has an extremely cool feel to it.

This second game is certainly an improvement over the first game; the difficulty has improved, the graphics have improved and the cases have become more challenging. However there is one small loss: all the cases in this game can be easily finished with a Master ranking in just one try.

Honestly, in some ways Pandora Tomorrow feels more like a very good expansion than a sequel. It does improve upon a lot of things, but I do wish they'd include more game mechanics that we hadn't seen before. Even so, the game has an extremely cool feel to it.

Much like a marathon runner with a broken leg, one working lung and a debilitating facial tick, Crystal Key 2 hobbles forth making the most of itself and what it’s comprised of.

Team17 did a fantastic job mixing the old style with the new graphics. The quality of the graphics fits this type of game and the game play hasn’t changed, a few things have been added but the core is still there.

The idea of your alter ego, if you can call it that, could've been expanded further, and the selection of monsters could've been richer.
