Some events are a lot of fun and will have you pushing hard for that world record that you're so close to, but you'll lose interest in other events in a manner of minutes.

A fairly good RPG. Nothing stands out about it, nothing incredibly amazing has been done with it, but it is a serviceable and enjoyable game if you're a fan of the genre.

My expectations may have been a little high, because I’m left wanting more. I wish the developers had implemented things like loops, and that they had added more cars, more levels, and just about more of everything.

A perfect sister specimen of the German Nazis; though it has high ambitions and generally operates as a differentiated tactical game and employs a wealth of detail, beauty, and intricate depth, it’s ultimately defeated by its own shortcomings and underdeveloped foundations.

Whatever else is said about Perimeter, there are a lot of very good, very different ideas coming together here.

The overall experience will probably not inspire and entrance, but stripped of the features that tarnish Aura’s… aura, waddling through finely crafted paradises and solving the many interesting riddles will surely please all the thinkers out there.

Even though the game does not support multi-player, and takes 10 hours to complete, you can still find a great deal of replayabillity in locating the hundreds of hidden items throughout the map.

Digging through the fake web sites in order to find clues I can use on real web sites takes a gentle charm, especially for someone who bludgeons their way through most real-life and game-related problems, like I do.

Enemy AI, environmental inconsistencies, and narrow alleys of opportunity brought the game down from its solid play design.

One of the best Real-time strategy games that I have played this year. Though it does not resemble it in any way, it’s the best since "Rise of Nations," and it’s the most entertaining, adrenal gland-blasting strategy game I’ve played since "Starcraft."

It flat out fails to cash in on its unique take on Major League Baseball. The Slugfest version of the game is dull and annoying.

Other more robust PC software would be better for the true fan, but if you’re new and want to see if this is something you would like to pursue MTV:MG3 would be a good place to start.

Multiplayer was a huge disappointment. As I stated, random spinouts and over easy crashes make the game almost un-enjoyable at times.

If you can live with the less gorgeous image quality then the PS2 version of this excellent game should suit you just fine.

Just another average game that tries well but just doesn't stand out amongst the myriad of great shooters out on the market.

Combining excellent atmospheric effects with creepy CG sequences and superb game play, The Suffering is easily one the best and most surprising horror titles to come along since Fatal Frame, and it’s the first game since the original Silent Hill that may cause spontaneous incontinence and liberal use of the word (expletive).

Not just a nostalgic drag-up of a successful title from the past, but more a great game to (re-)experience the feeling of the best days of the console roleplay gaming by focusing more on efficient and intuitive game-play than on brilliant graphics and cheap love stories (you know exactly what I mean…).

The end result of all this micro-management of the great, unwashed masses is that it wrings any possible fun out of the game.

From a technical perspective there are just so many things that could go bad with a game like this. To make it believable you really need a dynamic gameplay and an AI that’s believable. Full Spectrum Warrior has this.

What essentially makes The Chronicles of Riddick such an excellent game is the awesome atmosphere that has been created.

The atmosphere is intact, the story is very nice, the graphics are well above par, the audio is very good, and the gameplay should be interesting both for new and old players. With a few more months of development this game would have been truly excellent.

Have you ever felt that your intelligence was underestimated when you began playing a certain game? Although it may be a slight exaggeration, that’s not far from the feeling I got during the first few hours of True Crime: Streets of LA.

Van Helsing has surprisingly decent gameplay, but it lacks much of the complexity seen in other games in the genre. It also falls short in terms of graphics, compared to games like "Ninja Gaiden," but it does quite well in the audio department.

Its weaker links – graphics, battle structure, tactical depth – balance out pretty evenly in its strengths of story, voice acting, character development, and atmospheric maturity.

The Graphical presentation is a let-down, but the gameplay is entertaining. Not all is bad, however. Multiplayer modes add those few more hours of fun.
