This could have been a brilliant game. The problem is that it just doesn't work. The Kinect controls work only when they want to, and most of the time they don't, something that ruins an otherwise great experience.

Left Alive could have been a fantastic game with a little more work. It has some phenomenal moments, but often drowns in frustrating scenarios.

Pure garbage is one way to put it, but it would be strict. This ridiculous racer has it's moments, deeply hidden in between terrible controls that will make you test if the Move controllers can destroy a TV.

Playing this game is quite simply a pain, thanks to an entire armada of bugs and flaws. It's hard to imagine how Egosoft will be able to fix this mess.

Survival Instinct is a major disappointment with its brainless story and buggy, repetitive and lazy gameplay. This game provides neither chills, thrills or challenges for the player. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this cash grab as possible. What a terrible waste of a license.

The game is straight up horrible, and I can’t understand how someone concluded that this was ready for release.

Spongebob's Boating Bash on the DS is nothing short of abysmal. Poor players get rewarded and the randomness takes away all joy that might be hidden somewhere withing its otherwise frustrating gameplay.

Delve Deeper is a funny and interesting strategy game. You send gangs of dwarves deep into the mountain to gather riches for their king, and whoever finds the most is the winner. The game has many smart strategic elements, but lacks depth and content to be anything but an amusing interlude between greater strategy games.

Anmynor Puzzles is a puzzle solving game where you control various golems in their quest to move runes to a given destination. While the game is rich on gameplay elements, most levels are very basic and lacks challenging puzzles. Anmynor Puzzles also suffers from difficult camera management and some glitches.

It's an intelligent game with plenty of tactical challenges, and if you don't mind the old-school presentation I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun with it.

Amphora is a beautiful game, which presents some very well-made moments throughout a young woman's life. The puzzles are somewhat entertaining, but quickly succumb to cheap trial and error.

While Conclave takes a few steps back by streamlining the education of children and the alliance system, the Council makes up for this by adding features and events that genuinely changes the way we play Crusader Kings 2 - which in itself is quite spectacular.

Through its powerful trade leagues, exciting spy missions, the upgrade of naval mechanics and dangerous condottieri armies, Mare Nostrum attempts to pick up where the Romans left - and does so successfully.

Rights of Man expands on Europa Universalis 4's already massive world. Great powers, institutions and new royal mechanics make for a more intriguing experience, and together create one of the best expansions in the game's history.

Monks and Mystics brings exciting new ways of worship to Crusader Kings II. Through holy and unholy orders can we take part in the more intricate parts of medieval religion, but although the secret societies might bring excitement to old-timers and newcomers alike, there's just not enough here, making the expansion less worthwhile compared to its predecessors.

Mandate of Heaven is a great new addition to the Europa Universalis IV family of expansions, giving new life to Asian states while the new Age and diplomacy mechanics bring new challenges and revamps for everyone.

With another deep expansion, the team at Paradox delivers yet again. It has never been more fun to play outside of Europe, with the Muslim factions gaining deeper mechanics and new ways to play. Even though the expansion does little outside of the Middle East, the new army professionalism mechanic and merchant options help to deliver an expansion that changes the game for every faction, regardless of religious affiliation.

Even though Assassin's Creed Origins: Curse of the Pharaos does little in terms of new mechanics or strong characters, it impresses with its new environments. The different Afterlife worlds are gorgeous, and the new boss fights are difficult and exciting.

Europa Universalis IV: Rule Britannia adds many worthwhile mechanics the British region and beyond. The coolest one is the new mission system, but due to being part of the free 1.25 England patch, its impact on the expansion is lessened.

Man the Guns unfortunately brings more confusion to fleet manage than before. On the upside, the great new oil mechanic, the new focus trees and the US Congress mechanisms are mostly welcome additions to Hearts of Iron IV.

Mythos is an absolutely astonishing expansion, and marks the return of A Total War Saga: Troy both as an amazing game, and as proof that historical and mythological amusement may indeed be found in one and the same game after all - just not in the way the game first intended.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is without a doubt the best version of the game, and it's nice to have the game on new platforms. It's almost comical that the game is out on Xbox and Switch all the while Square Enix seems to be ignoring those platforms for the Final Fantasy VII game people really want to play.

Ikonei Island is still easy to play and cozy enough to make it well worth a look, especially for families with children and the younger generation. But after about ten hours behind I already feel that I'm getting my fill of most of what the game has to offer.

The game has a consistently good flow, and avoids many of the typical pitfalls from the genre by letting the player experiment and play with different outcomes, without being able to make a significant number of mistakes.
