Gods Will Be Watching is a test of patience told in six violent acts. What could have been a fascinating glimpse into a cool sci fi universe is unfortunately sabotaged by mechanics that give the illusion of control but often makes you feel like a helpless bystander. Whether this is by design or by accident, it ends up being a frustrating experience.

Big orcs and tiny goblins make for unlikely and enjoyable heroes. The juvenile language may dampen the story at times, but the interesting setting and challenging combat make up for it.

For all its effort, Aphelion severely lacks the ingenuity, polish and emotional impact of Dontnod's other titles. It is simply OK, a fairly decent action adventure. One that might as well have been made 15 years ago.

The lack of in tactical options and base building, together with an a unbalanced experience system and bad storytelling makes this game a naked and weak ending to the franchise.

The single player mode suffers from a lack of variation, but the competitive and team based multiplayer is a fantastic addition to both the Ratchet & Clank universe and the Tower Defense genre as a whole.

Forspoken is so uninspired and mired in cliches that its fantastic voice acting cast can only do so much to keep the game afloat. And while the movement and combat systems are interesting, they're often on the cusp of greatness without ever really realizing their full potential.

Storm is a creative take on the platform genre, placing nature in the center of the gameplay. It's somewhat fun to play with rain, snow and lightning, but unfortunately the limited freedom and weak puzzles prevent it from becoming really memorable.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a blast to play. The shooting is fun and fluid, and with a bunch of great abilities and upgrades to unlock, the game keeps you going for as long as the story lasts. The game has its flaws however: Stealth is imprecise, the enemies are overly predictable and the story truly leaves something to be desired.

Alpha Protocol is an ambitious and entertaining action-based role-playing game, but suffers from several irritating flaws. It offers much freedom and an exciting story, but it's fresh setting of international intrigue only rarely touches on reality and is for the most part unoriginal.

King's Bounty II is a disappointing RPG experience, doing very little to innovate, not really even managing to produce something that's fun or particularly exciting over time.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League showcases the best of one world, and the worst of another; a unification of best-in-class cut scenes and cinematics, with a boring looter-shooter mounted beneath. It is the anti-Destiny, a game where the love of the developers shine through the soul-crushing monotony of the loot grind.

While its gorgeous visuals and 90's platforming gameplay throwback promises much, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion ends up being no more than a simple nostalgia trip down memory lane. The paint/thinner mechanic from previous games are haphazardly implemented and completely ruins what sluggish flow the game already had.

This game hits the mark on all fronts. Through the beautiful visual presentation comes a bloody and engaging world filled with myriad battles and a relentless chase for skills and loot that sucks you in and makes you stay.

There are too many good competitors out there for the game to stand out. The one thing Chocobo GP has over its competitors is Final Fantasy, and that's something the developers have completely failed to make full use of.

Scrap Metal is an excellent product if you have good memories of the old bird's eye racing games. It's not the most content-rich racer out there, but the hysterical setting filled with speed, dirt and destruction is still worth getting on with.

Together for Victory does a great job in fleshing out the factions of the Commonwealth and the Allied faction. States like Canada or the British Raj now offer unique playthroughs, and the addition of features like voice acting for certain factions, continuous focuses and a puppet system makes a great game even better.

Striking visuals and catchy music aside, there's not much fun to be had with Sonic Lost World. The clunky controls leave much to be desired, and the game seems to work much better overall when everything is allowed to run its course automatically. Sonic Lost World proves that Sega's blue hedgehog, in spite of his speed, has trouble keeping pace with the better, more modern platforms out there.

The game shoves and commands me around as if I'm some mindless observer, while continuously bragging about the stunning but hollow-feeling visuals. The simple do-as-you're-told mechanics make no leeway for anything, and despite the game's alright shooting action, the result is overall quite forgettable.

Puzzle Agent 2 does nothing to differentiate itself from what it's predecessor did a year ago. It offers the same structure, the same length and the same types of puzzles. Unfortunately, it ends up seeming more like the second half of a complete work than a whole new adventure.

The Youtube-style presentation is a success, but the rest of the game is just plain mediocre. The story is boring and the action feels far too generic. Might be worth buying for the coop.

Fuse is packed with action, sadly of the average kind. At times the co-op makes you forget the stale gunplay and lack of real progression, but in single-player Fuse has little to offer an experienced gamer.

The developers at The Chinese Room could have focused even more on the story. They could have reduced the combat, and made the power of a vampire a rarer element that only appears when necessary. I'm not going to complain though, this is a great adventure with vampires in the lead role, and we don't have too many of them.

Though similar in title, Arcania: Gothic 4 bears little resemblance to its predecessors. It is a traditional action-based role-playing game, which lets you play as an adventurer in the battle against ancient evil forces. The story and graphics are among the game's strongpoints, while almost every other aspect is bland and unorigonal.
