Jurassic World Evolution 3 gives you the tools to build the dinosaur park of your dreams. There are still annoyances with difficult dinosaurs, but overall this is the best game in the series.

Daedalic's novel adaptation delivers a great story, beautiful visuals and interesting characters. 12th century England makes for a fascinating setting, but unfortunately far too much time is wasted on backtracking and tedious puzzles.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens delivers mostly the same fun experience as before, but when only the fundamentals are the things that impress 10 whole years after the series' first release, the right kind of innovation is severely lacking with this one.

Even though I enjoyed Unravel I wish there was more of it. Strip away the beautiful wrapping and heartwarming story, and you're left with a fairly simple game with not too difficult puzzles that won't last you more than three or four hours. Thankfully, it's that simplicity that makes it work.

Hydroventure: Spin Cycle is a fresh puzzle game, whose many uses of water never ceases to entertain, despite some bad turns from time to time. The game has a steady progression and clever puzzles which keep your mind constantly occupied, while not being overly complex, thus making for an overall rewarding experience.

Flock is simply a great deal of fun, largely thanks to its sizeable roster of weirdly interesting creatures — creatures that truly trigger the «gotta catch 'em all» mentality. Effortless controls and an amazing soundscape also contributes to make this one of the most surprising games of the year.

The Mageseeker is a game with genuinely entertaining combat system and an interesting story that suffers from painfully repetitive level design.

Patapon 1+2 Replay lets a new generation experience these cute and warmongering weridos. There's hardly anything new, but if you have yet to experience these games, now's your chance.

The Wonderful 101 is a good game, marred by insisting on repeating both enemies, inside jokes and half-baked variations. The combat system works excellent, and is enough to make sure the game thrives.

Mario Golf: World Tour simulates many of the elements a golf player in the real world must consider before taking a shot. Wind, weather and terrain affects the ball in realistic ways and makes every shot different from each other. Mixed with incredible graphics, this game will surely please both non-golfers and golf pros.

Rock Band 4’s biggest strengths are the new guitar solos, the possibility of importing tracks from earlier games and the compatibility with older instruments. Despite sore fingers after several hours of playing, Rock Band 4 is a wonderful experience, especially with friends.

It's refreshing to see more split screen co-op on PC, but A Way Out fumbles in delivering on the premise. The clichè-filled story starts out too slowly, and the game is littered with tedious quick time events. The game sort of redeems itself towards the end, but wastes a lot of your time on it’s way there.

Killzone: Mercenary is sort of like an ambitious little brother, trying to fill his older brother's shoes – and in some ways he is able to do so. The result is a handheld shooter that looks and plays great, but it is far from perfect.

Hand of Fate is a really unique game, with a Dungeons & Dragons feel to its excellent cardplay. Its only a shame is that technical shortcomings and lackluster combat kinda break the experience.

This refurbished version of Baldur's Gate II is true to its source material and does a good job in making one of the best fantasy epics in the history of computer role playing games available for a modern audience.

I’d love it if Tropico 6 tried to be a bit more daring in its execution, but the game is still tried and true – in a good way.

Curse of Naxxramas is a fun expansion, that besides giving the player a bunch of bosses to test their skills against, also delivers 30 new and (mostly) interesting cards to play with.

A punk-apocalyptical action game with an intense rock&roll atmosphere. Charlie Murder is a real treat for fans of old school "beat 'em up" games, although the gameplay suffers from stacking too many underdeveloped ideas into the same package.

Little Nightmares does not try to appeal to everybody, and that makes it a better game. This is a game with apparent strength and weaknesses, but you can always tell that it is a game made of a group of people with a strong and clear vision for a defined audience.

The Little Ones is a strong addition to a game that was solid in its own right. The children are a real game-changer in more presumably realistic, and more interesting, ways than I had imagined. They are a welcome addition to This War of Mine, both for the player and, seemingly, for the adult characters.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 isn't really all that new anymore. What you get is basically the same game as the first one for the Nintendo DS, but with less engaging levels, fewer surprises in terms of power-ups and gameplay, and a boring gimmick set on capturing your inner kleptomaniac.

Banishers delivers fun combat and a beautiful world to explore, but it's at its most engaging when it lets the player deal with ghostly mysteries, meaningful choices and the undeniable bond between its stellar main characters.

Dead Rising 3 is a lot of fun. It’s also a lot of zombies, a lot of cheesy story, a lot of uninspired graphics and a lot of crazy weapons and costumes.

Warband doesn't offer much new besides the enjoyable multiplayer, but what it does offer makes it the best version of Mount & Blade so far. If you haven't played Mount & Blade before, you should definitely play Warband.

Far Cry 5 isn't the great departure we might've hoped for, with both gameplay and story playing it very safe, but what's here surely has the potential to be as thrilling, crazy and engaging as always.

Dead Space 3 is focused more on the action than the scary part, but still a step in the right direction for the series. Isaac is on a mission, and many diverse areas make it an entertaining, varied story with plenty of exciting moments.

Abzû wears its inspirations like a badge of honor, but there's so much more to this than just "underwater Journey". There's emotional weight behind every single aspect of the game, from the incredible music and visuals, to the ever-changing feel of its surprisingly meaty story and life under the sea. As a result, Abzû is simply an amazing game, one that you need to experience for yourself.
