Silent Hill f is an experience quite unlike anything else. While the combat sometimes is a bit too much, there's an undeniable quality to the game's disturbing story and gruesome horror elements that makes this a must-play for fans of the genre.

Shin Megami Tensei V offers well-known and traditional gameplay that has been modernized and refreshed exactly in the ways it needs to.

Banished is both challenging and addictive, and allows you to create your own unique medieval society.

Skylanders is even more fun with Giants. A fun, playful story takes the players through eventful levels. The simple RPG elements make the game a lot more approachable for older gamers, meanwhile maintaining simplicity for the children. The toys are detailed and well-made.

Blizzard's newest expansion keeps StarCraft II as the king of real time strategy, even though I'm not a huge fan of the narrative. The campaign is composed of well-crafted and varied missions, while multiplayer also offers some new and interesting additions to the formula.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a fun and energetic trip to Hyrule. The heroes are all different and a joy to play, plowing through hordes of enemies while showering the screen in fireworks is a sight to behold.

Ghostrunner 2 is an exciting action game, and you immediately notice that the developers have had higher ambitions for this sequel. This manifests itself in the form of a larger universe with more variety, and it is exciting to explore the many unique cyberpunk aspects both inside and outside Dharma Tower.

It is almost as camp as it is addictive. In a genre that is all about streamlining, the mechanically perfected combat system and no slack questing carries a gigantic and driven action role playing game that should be accessible for pretty much everyone.

Puzzle Quest 2 draws inspiration from its roots and offers sleek and enjoyable gameplay. Do quests, gather treasures, fight monsters and solve puzzles in this very entertaining game. The story and roleplaying elements have been toned down, but the result is still a great puzzle game.

Anomaly 2 is an enjoyable and challenging ride through a post-apocalyptic Earth, that will test both your reflexes and your tactical skills.

The Pathless is exceptionally pretty, with great flow and even greater art design. The game loses some of its emotional punch thanks to the open world and the lack of clear pacing, but it's nonetheless a great experience.

A gorgeous, smart and addictive game that is somewhat let down by weak AI. If Amplitude sticks with it post release, it could easily become the new king of the genre.

The Vanishing is a supernatural murder mystery with a dark and sombre, if not entirely original, story beneath its hood. Although gameplay is a tad repetitive, it is wonderfully evident that the game has been crafted with elaborate care and conscience. But more than anything, The Vanishing is a strikingly beautiful stroll through a hauntingly gorgeous valley.

Asura's Wrath is a unique experience, and despite underdeveloped gameplay mechanics and little real replayability it's extremely fun while it lasts. The art-style is superb, with likeable characters, and when the outstanding music kicks in, the game offers some truly epic moments – the sort that you will remember, and want to experience all over again.

escapeVektor is one of those fun little games that most people will overlook. It's a fast-paced puzzle game with loads of challenging action and quick thinking, clever level design and good atmosphere. It's a must for those who need something small on their portable gaming device.

This strategy game is a real gem. It's easy to learn and play, very smart and – thanks to a really evil computer opponent – very challenging. I just wish it had a bit more content, especially in the multiplayer department, but don't let that stop you from giving it a go.

Princess Peach truly shines in this imaginative and colorful foray into main character territory. The game is clearly aimed at a younger generation of gamers, but still manages to deliver clever and engaging fun for all ages.

Nail'd is a rollercoaster from the second you load the game. Absurd track designs, insane jumps, and crazy speed, combined with a great soundtrack, will keep you busy for hours at a time. Nail'd may not be even remotely realistic, but it sure is fun, despite minor flaws.

Despite the intimidating amount of lore and extensive techniques needed to fully enjoy the story and combat, Guilty Gear -Strive- is a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Waves crashing and dinosaurs jumping out of the water are just two of the many things this water racers has going for it. The controls are brilliant, and the only thing keeping it back is a lack in variation.

The Darkness II is, above all, a fun experience. With an engaging story, fun gameplay mechanics and its original art-style it stands out from your everyday FPS. Despite it's far too short length, the experience itself is so unique and compelling you're likely to play through the single-player campaign over and over again, having a blast every time.

A thoroughly enjoyable game. Live A Live is simple and old fashioned in all the right ways, where each little story leaves you wanting more.

For Honor is brutal fun. The fighting game mechanics take some time to truly get used to, but once you do, there's a unique, clever and deeply engaging multiplayer experience to be had here.
