Yesterday is a solid point-and-click adventure that harkens back to the games of old. The narrative is painfully short, but the interesting tone, clever puzzles and fantastic atmosphere does make up for it somewhat.- Gamer.no

The Jak and Daxter Trilogy sees the strange duo returning to consoles, this time in glorious HD, but the package as a whole is surprisingly unbalanced. The Precursor Legacy is a great experience, with top-notch level design and pure platforming fun, but the second installment falters in nearly every aspect being little more than an annoying time consumer. The third game addresses many of its predecessor's flaws and brings back some of the series' unique and magic charm, making this HD collection a safe buy for anyone looking for two greatly fun games.- Gamer.no

Although Mass Effect 3 may be quite far from beeing the best role-playing or shooting game out there, it certainly concludes one of the most intelligent and epic science fiction universes shown in games. The overall impression is of a thoroughly mediocre arena-shooter that never quite manages to deliver. On a crowded online market Nexuiz is reduced to a short term affair without much longevity. As this is a game that relies solely on an active multiplayer community, it's hard to tell how long Illfonic can manage to keep this going. Unfortunately, Nexuiz is not the game to revive the arena-shooter.- Gamer.no

Blades of Time is a lazy patchwork of already exhausted mechanics and ideas which Gajin has stolen from most of the hack and slash games seen this millenium. The result is a lot of uncreative, badly executed nonsense wrapped around some fairly decent fighting mechanics.- Gamer.no

Look past the industry veterans standing behind it, and The Last Story fails to garner any sense of wonder. The new gameplay and combat mechanics are a refreshing addition to the genre, but doesn't hold up under much scrutiny. Clichéd characters and trite storytelling grind the experience down to a mediocre one.- Gamer.no

Binary Domain has a respectable mechanical foundation and a feel that allows it to mingle with the mammoths of third-person shooting. However, it does not manage to surpass any of them. The campaign offers a engaging ride through Neo-Tokyo, but the multiplayer is so uninteresting that the product as a whole would not suffer if it was removed.- Gamer.no

Grand Slam Tennis 2 is EA Sports' attempt to dominate yet another sports genre, but the title faces hard rivalry in the existing Virtua Tennis and Top Spin series. The game features a nice selection of official stadiums and competitions, but does not really present anything new of interest that has not already been done by the competition. While the overall improvements aren't too severe, the new tackling and physics systems drastically change how the game is played. FIFA 12 feels like an entirely new game in many ways, the question is whether you're ready to try something new or not.- Gamer.no

With it's over the top package and lighthearted gameplay, this arcade/puzzler succeeds in implementing the Burnout feel we all know and love. Sadly, it's plagued by shallow, repetitive and all to random gameplay that even EA's ingenius Autolog feature fails to make rewarding. Despite all it's promise and potential, this is little but a failed Criterion-funded experiment.- Gamer.no

Resistance 3 steps up to become the best game in the series, featuring a number of exciting weapons and beautifully designed levels. The horror elements mixed with the toned down story of one mans mission to make the world a better place for his family is thrilling and very enjoyable.- Gamer.no

TrackMania is back, and just as fun as ever. The new environment will no doubt be a hit among both new and old players, though it does feel a bit disappointing to go from seven environments in TrackMania United Forever to just one (so far) in TrackMania 2.- Gamer.no

This is a very enjoyable shooter with lots of action, amazing graphics and a wonderfully authentic cyberpunk-atmosphere, but it's somewhat let down by an erratic difficulty and a relatively short campaign.- Gamer.no

Madden NFL 12 is a two-edged sword. On one hand it offers new players, post-trade rosters and some new features. On the other hand it is essentially very similar to the Madden games released over the last years, but if you are a fan, you will probably not be disappointed.- Gamer.no

This is definitely a great mystery, with a variety of puzzles, challenges and laid-back gameplay. I wouldn't hesitate to increase this game's score if some minor problems were rectified.- Gamer.no

While attempting to be innovative, Dream Trigger 3D fails to keep me engaged. Its horribly steep learning curve, combined with repetitive gameplay when you finally master it, makes this a game I'd rather avoid.- Gamer.no

Hunted: The Demon's Forge suffers from an identity crisis. It can't quite figure out if it is a thirdperson shooter or a action RPG. The combat tendens towards being boring and the level design is less than inspirational. Some of the side quests are good, but that's just not enough for this game.- Gamer.no

Alice: Madness Returns is interesting, visually stunning and inviting. Some of the gameplay elements excites in its pure form, but combat does seem ridgid and sometimes random. It's close, but not quite the cigar for Mr. McGee.- Gamer.no

The third expansion to the Men of War universe suffers by being one of the most difficult realtime strategy games out there. Combine this with a rather high amount of bugs, and you got the recipe for the least entertaining and most frustrating game of the series.- Gamer.no

The second episode of this point & click adventure series is just as enjoyable as the first one, with challenging puzzles and lots of funny jokes. Though after two very similar episodes, I hope the third one will shake things up a bit.- Gamer.no
