The tense atmosphere and fascinating setting makes this a highly interesting installment in the series. Sadly it is all brought down by a long list of technical issues and annoyances that makes this sometimes very enjoyable game a very trying experience.- Gamer.no

Call of Duty: Black Ops II doesn't offer a huge amount of surprises and fits rather neatly in with the rest of the series' later releases. The small changes to the formula ensure that the game is among the more interesting Call of Duty releases in a while. The robust multiplayer is among the best of the best, and will quench trigger-happy gamers' thirst for a while.- Gamer.no

LittleBigPlanet Karting offers great fun for the creative and those who love karting games. It can at times feel a little empty, the characters a little flat, but the driving experience is good, albeit a bit chaotic. Doom 3: BFG Edition is the epitome of an old-school first-person shooter, and while it still holds up quite well compared to today's mastodons the age of eight long years seems to weigh in on the game. The shooting is not as compelling anymore, the scares is often bland and repetitive and overall the changes Id Software has implemented is not all that great.- Gamer.no

Football Manager 2013 has inherited its throne as the #1 manager simulator. Don't expect a revolution, but a few tweaks here and there, and the addition of a couple of new game modes mean this year's release does just enough to be a must-buy for fans of the series.- Gamer.no

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a hybrid that combines Criterion's long-living Burnout-franchise, i.e. fun gameplay, fast paced action and exceptional driving, with the mechanics and elements that made the original Most Wanted so great in the first place, making for one of the best racing-games this side of 2010.- Gamer.no

Piranha Bytes takes the Risen series into a new direction with the Pirate-themed sequel Dark Waters. The game is more streamlined than its predecessors, but despite some efforts to modernize the combat and the character development system feels hopelessly outdated. In such it fails to fulfil its own potential.- Gamer.no

UEFA Euro 2012 is a rather disappointing expansion to FIFA 12. National teams and a few new and rather boring modes is not enough to justify this as good representation of this summers biggest football event.- Gamer.no

Mixes Dance Dance Revolution, a ressurected Napoleon Bonaparte and parisian tourist information in a way that sounds absurd, but actually works very well. The game is visually beautiful, and the varied rhythm-based minigames utilizes everything the 3DS has to offer. However, you will have a hard time beating this game if you can't keep a beat.- Gamer.no

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is another great entry into the franchise based on the popular anime. With content from both previous installments and greatly improved flow of combat, thanks to some minor but incredibly welcome changes, it's better than ever. The outstanding audiovisual collaboration is as always the icing on the cake.- Gamer.no

Legend of Grimrock proves that the "dungeon crawler" genre still has a lot of life left. Compared to other modern RPG's it offers an unique blend of puzzling, exploration and surprisingly tactical combat, and to top it off it looks absolutely fantastic. This has something to offer everyone, not just old school gamers with fond memories of Dungeon Master.- Gamer.no

Kinect Star Wars is a double edged sword. On one side, using the force with the Kinect sensor is immensely satisfying. On the other side, Kinect is just what is holding this game back. All in all, it's just another shallow and lacking tech demo from Microsofts admittingly impressive motion sensor.- Gamer.no

Minecraft for Xbox 360 is a solid conversion and much more user-friendly than the PC version. The new split-screen mode is a great way to experience Minecraft with others. There are some issues, though, and the main problem is the small environments which removes a lot of the exploration that was so fun on the PC.- Gamer.no

Fall of the Samurai is a good expansion pack for one of the best strategy games of 2011. It gives a great history lesson about en epoch in japanese history the western hemisphere tend to forget. Furthermore, it is the first time the Total War franchise shows the staggering effect the industrial revolution had on military warfare - evolve or die.- Gamer.no

FIFA Street is a complete reboot of the series. Unlike its predecessors it offers a more realistic approach to street football. Still, it's all about having fun while performing acrobatic tricks. Even though the game tends to be extremely frustrating playing with egocentric teammates in netplay, it's quite fun when controlling the team completely by yourself. All in all the nice career mode and plenty of variety make this a solid step forward.- Gamer.no
