Mario Tennis Fever takes the series another step in the direction of Mario Kart craziness, but it doesn’t quite work as well on the small tennis court. Multiplayer matches provide short lived fun, but the overall experience lacks staying power, resulting in a shallow and uneven entry that fails to fully capitalize on the series’ potential.

Lost Soul Aside tries to accomplish too much, but in the process accomplishes next to nothing. A forgettable experience that lacked focus.

There's no story here, no progression, zero goals, zero meaning beyond feeding the kids Tamagotchi figures. Steer clear.

The opening video game chapter of the Unknown 9 universe is not great. The combat is disappointing, the animations undercooked, and the performance takes a nosedive throughout the second half of the game. Some stunning vistas, but hardly enough to warrant a recommendation.

If only the story had been good, this might have held up to something better, but then not. Honestly, I wish I could use the game's best feature - "fast travel" - and go back to before I put 30 hours into this game.

The story that is presented is perfectly fine, it offers some interesting characters, events and scenarios, but it means very little. It does not evoke any emotions, and it is not memorable in any way, which makes it quite a failure as a musical. What you come to think of instead is a game with bad music and a control system that can't do a single thing right.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has a bunch of disjointed game mechanics, and none of them are well executed. The performance is also unacceptably poor.

As a game, Redfall simply doesn't measure up. The familiar Arkane magic that has always lurked in the developer's previous games is completely absent. Instead, we get an experience that is just as limp and uninventive as it looks.

Forspoken is so uninspired and mired in cliches that its fantastic voice acting cast can only do so much to keep the game afloat. And while the movement and combat systems are interesting, they're often on the cusp of greatness without ever really realizing their full potential.

Sniper Elite 5 is a bad game, in part thanks to boring maps, lackluster graphics and a non-existent story, but most of all because of its fundamentally flawed AI that takes all the fun out of stealth and sniping.

At its best it's action filled and grand in every way, but most of the time you'll struggle with game-breaking bugs or even getting into a match without the game crashing. Hopefully DICE will be able to save this beast with time, but it will demand a lot of work, and an expansion of its most exciting mode, Battlefield Portal.

The game is straight up horrible, and I can’t understand how someone concluded that this was ready for release.

King's Bounty II is a disappointing RPG experience, doing very little to innovate, not really even managing to produce something that's fun or particularly exciting over time.

Biomutant is an ambitious project, but it never excels at anything. There are too many incomprehensible design choices and frustrating moments, which in turn hinders the game from being truly great.

Oddworld: Soulstorm seems dated. With everything from the controls and AI, and lack of variation, this is an uneven experience.

Crysis Remastered is a lackluster update that, while it does manage to do some good for the aging game's graphics, doesn't do anything for the incredibly outdated gameplay, AI and story.

There is a solid fundament in Skater XL, and there is a hit of a potentially formidable skating sand box. But there is a heavy layer of polish that needs to be applied before the game is noteworthy.

There are times when Deadly Premonition 2 strikes that same charming chord as its predecessor. There are times where you see hints of a coherent and functioning game. But all of it is unfortunately let down by unforgivable framerate issues, terrible pacing and severely lacking gameplay. Apart from the few characters you have meaningful interaction with, the world is void of life. The action sequences are repetitive, frustrating, and offer no challenge whatsoever.

Beside horrible matchmaking and a plethora of technical faults, Predator: Hunting Grounds is awfully unbalanced, looks downright ugly, severely lacks variety and is simply unpleasant to play. The game does have a lot of clever nods to the movies and a bunch of great ideas throughout, but the execution is generally really, really bad.

Wolcen has the potential to be a good, possibly even great ARPG at some point. But the solid and heavy combat, versatile class system and number of possible character builds is littered and held back by bugs, unbalanced abilities and a game that just doesn't run that great. Beautiful graphics and animations only go so far when the game stutters, combat lags and abilities and talents plain just don't work. Maybe it will be good at some point, but as it is now the bugs just ruin almost all the fun Wolcen has to offer.

Man of Medan has a couple of fun gimmicks, great faces and bunch of exciting moments spread throughout, but it's also filled with badly paced sequences, bland characters, annoying technical issues and cheap scares that are so frequent and so poorly executed that you can't help but feel offended and frustrated.

Oninaki has a solid and fun combat system, and an interesting setting, but the story is poorly told and the level design is so dull you'll be looking for something better to do pretty soon.

The Sinking City's promise of a world that never holds your hand is exciting, but the game ultimately falls short of its lofty goal. While the story and characters are interesting, the detective work quickly grows dull and the shooting mechanics are underwhelming at best.
