EyePet: Move Edition has superior presentation. The way you have contact with your hairy pet is shown through funny acted movies. Especially younger players will really get the impressions a living, breathing animal is living in their television. They probably won't mind the not so precise controls.

Metroid: Other M has two sides. The presentation is far from perfect, with cinematics that offer cliché after cliché and in-game graphics that aren't as detailed as the Prime-series. But the new gameplay is an unexpected mix between different Metroid-games of the past and impresses. Metroid: Other M takes some time to take off, but once it does, it latches onto you like a Metroid and holds its grip until you've played to the end.

Case Zero is a delightful appetizer to still your craving for Dead Rising 2. The game gives you insight in what happens before Chuck reaches Fortune City and shows you perfectly what you can expect when you're in doubt of getting the game at the end of September.

Mafia II's strong points are the story and believable gameworld, as well as an authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately the game doesn't take enough risk and as a result makes less impact than the original. Players don't get enough freedom to come up with their own creative solutions during missions. It also doesn't help that there is a lot of filler during the missions.

What moves a developer to make a game that looks like it created out of cut-outs from old magazines and newspapers? Sceptical as one can be, we are glad to say that And Yet it Moves managed to turn us around. Copying and pasting has never been this original. With its quirky art style and brain-twisting puzzles, it is nothing short of a small piece of art.

This may not carry the Tomb Raider-name, but it has everything you can ask from a woman like Lara. And if that's still not enough, the highly intuitive co-op offers a semi-naked spear throwing friend to keep you company. In fact, this is better than Tomb Raider has been for a long time.

The action in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is weak, without impact and uninteresting. Not very fortunate when the game revolves around action. The game can be played through in just about four hours.

Monday Night Combat combines classes and the tower defense genre to create a strategical action game that doesn't grow tired on you overnight. We would've liked to see more maps and the frame rate is a bit inconsistent.

Without the cliché but fitting story and the progression that reminds us of RPGs from the previous Castlevania-games, what remains is a game that doesn't feel quite like the latest entry in this series. This mostly revolves around the multiplayer and it's pretty much the only reason to get this game.

Hurricane is a worthy sequel to Hydro Thunder. The tracks offer variety and have a lot of dynamic obstacles, the game offers some strategy and the multiplayer lengthens the replayability.

A free game is never a bad thing, but another disappointing Need for Speed-game is. After the success that was Need for Speed Shift we hoped for a great comeback, but now it seems to wait a little big longer. The idea behind Need for Speed World is great, the final product isn't.

Wings of Liberty is one of those games PC-gamers have been waiting a long time for. The huge single-player and incredibly balanced multiplayer make for a very complete package. Here's to another twelve years of Starcraft, even if you're not a huge fan of RTS-games (yet).

Limbo lingers between heaven and hell. The beautifully laid out choreography of the experience rises to incredible heights, while it nails you down to your chair with its haunting atmosphere. It's a perfectly molded piece of art, that is shaping up to be one of the best titles of this year. While the art itself is timeless, the playtime is far from it. You'll be able to finish the game in mere hours, but luckily the game will stay with you long after.

And again Ron Gilbert shows why his games are so appreciated. Deathspank is a stylish action game with a great sense of humor.

The simple combat system and the large amount of grinding make this a game for a particular type of gamer, and the lack of an online multiplayer is a missed opportunity. Nevertheless, Dragon Quest IX is a very complete RPG which will offer countless hours of fun. This is probably the prettiest and biggest RPG available on the DS right now.

Crackdown 2 is relatively short, but enjoyable. The game cannot hide the fact that there's been little change since the original. The story is non-existent, and the lack of variation in gameplay makes it even worse. Still, the orb-collecting is as addicting as ever and saves this game somewhat.

All Points Bulletin has an interesting premise and offers you the possibility to alter the game experience, but bad controls and the lack of mission variety make this MMO-shooter a waste of time.

Singularity is a traditional shooter that borrows elements from other games in the genre. However, the game's creepy atmosphere and the ability to influence time and your surroundings make this game worth your time.

The best lightgun-shooter on the Wii, and that's saying a lot. The graphics are a little dated, even for the Wii, but the gameplay is all the more satisfying. Hardcore gamers who want to perfect their high scores might be offended by the long levels, but everyone else will really enjoy themselves here.

After years of uninspired movie-licensed games, we finally get to run, fly and drive around with the Transformers and be happy about it. The lacking AI and unvaried fighting sections kill some of the fun, but the game does have a lot of redeeming factors and with a second player you'll feel right at home.
