Singstar Queen has an excellent soundtrack and for this reason alone the game is a more than welcome addition to the karaoke-genre. On the other hand, the game doesn't even attempt to be innovative and some of the songs where already available in the SingStore. Nevertheless, Singstar Queen will make you sing like a bird.- Gamer.nl

Keep in mind that Prototype is foremost a hack-&-slash-game and not, as some might expect, a free-roamer. Making it a game with not a lot of variation, even though you can unleash a lot of different attacks. The action is fast and chaotic, but may get frustrating because of the overload of enemies and high difficulty setting. Only a must-buy if you're looking violent action and a fast paced hack-&-slash game.- Gamer.nl

The lineair setup makes Lego Batman 3 feel like a step backwards, as we played around in a big open world in part 2 and in Lego Marvel Super Heroes. But still the humor and love for the comic history behind it, makes this a very charming game. The quality is high and there are a lot of items to collect.- Gamer.nl

Space Grunts is a well made turn based roguelike. It does not have the depth of The Binding of Isaac or Nuclear Throne, but the difficulty level and speed makes this one of the best indie-plays this weekend.- Gamer.nl

Duke Nukem Forever has many imperfections, like worthless AI and poor-looking graphics. The question is, though, whether that really matters with this game. We did enjoy Duke Nukem Forever from beginning to end and weren't bothered by those imperfections. The one-liners are, once again, the stuff of legend, and Forever does constantly introduce the player to refreshing gameplay elements. All and all it's a real Duke Nukem game. And as an ode to the biggest legend of the game-industry is exactly how we judged it.- Gamer.nl

In spite of a few strange design choices, The Staff of Kings offers a surprisingly good Indy-experience. The game is diverse, fun to play and authentic and even comes with the classic Fate of Atlantis.- Gamer.nl

Lara Croft Go is less balanced than Hitman Go, but it offers the same relaxing puzzle fun. In this compact version of Tomb Raider Lara gets to visit beautiful locations that are full of treasures and interesting puzzles. Too bad the game is a bit short, because we like the innovative gameplay.- Gamer.nl

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon is a lot more fun than Gates to Infinity. There is not much change, so the randomly generated dungeons are still unimpressive, but the story is nice, the soundtrack is good and those 720 Pokemon to collect are excellent.- Gamer.nl

Magic Made Fun is a nicely worked out magic game which uses NDS as its medium for tricks. The game itself doesn't go very deep, but the 30 playable tricks will amaze many friends. Although the box is totally dutch, the game itself is English which might get a negative response from players. If you like magic, this game is definitely something for you.- Gamer.nl

With a somewhat manic presentation Bezircle seems to be aimed at children. Still, it has a big demographic, but you'll only find fun here with others.- Gamer.nl

Never Gone is like a Zach Snyder movie: aesthetically perfect full of rough content. The game is a good action experience, but the controls are not precise enough to feel as slick as it looks.- Gamer.nl

This is not bad for a VR experiment of the Dark Souls studio From Software. The setting is amazing, it is too bad it can't be explored all too well using the Move-controllers.- Gamer.nl

Mario Sports Mix is a mixed bag: basketball, volleyball and the multiplayer are fantastic, but the rest is hardly worth looking at. This inconsistency doesn't fit Mario at all, and as a result Mario Sports Mix lacks the usual level of polish often present in Nintendo-titles.- Gamer.nl

Resonance sketches a somber image of the future in low resolution. The retro point-and-click-game combines science fiction with descent puzzling, but forgets to top it off with a good story.- Gamer.nl

Within the entire franchise, Dirt 5 is a somewhat odd man out with even more focus on arcade. One that lets you race nicely uncomplicated, but at the same time is quite limited. The audiovisual potential should mainly be exploited on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S.- Gamer.nl

Tales of Monkey Island is a great new chapter in the Monkey Island-series. It's a fun addition to the episodic games that Telltale Games offers and will satisfy the hunger of fans of the series. It's only a shame that the quality of the original series never will be achieved again.- Gamer.nl

This game is without doubt a very decent beat 'em up that will occupy you for several hours. The small changes in this sequel don't make this the big hit that the Wii could have used this early in the year, but anyone who takes pleasure out of fighting games and anime will have fun with this. Owners of the previous game have got to ask themselves if the online mode and a few new characters are worth the purchase.- Gamer.nl

Firewatch uses extremely atmospheric woods to tell a nice story in four hours time. That same forest is keeping you from feeling free though, and the story misses depth. Was this game a bit too ambitious? It certainly seems so.- Gamer.nl

The 90's shooter is back. Strafe offers interesting roguelike elements, while nostalgically referring back to the legendary Quake and Doom. Don't be fooled by the simplistic level design: Strafe is anything but easy.- Gamer.nl

Jet Set Radio stands out with its style and personality instead of its gameplay. Although the game is relatively old, it spews out youthfulness, rebellion and fun. Unfortunately, there are a few things wrong with the game. When it comes to gameplay, Jet Set Radio is too unpolished to grab the critics amongst gamers. Jet Set Radio isn't for those who don't enjoy colorfulness, but more for those who enjoy a piece of chaotic art.- Gamer.nl

Dinos is a fun new game in the Buzz Junior franchise. Most mini-games have been seen before in a different setting, but it remains a friendly and complete product for kids to spend hours with. It is ideal for kid parties. The team mode is a valuable addition.- Gamer.nl

One of the most entertaining licensed games of recent times, without it being innovative. The gameplay is decent and diverse and the graphics are good for a product like this. It’s a little on the short side, but if you enjoyed the movie you’ll have a hard time not enjoying this colorful action game.- Gamer.nl

"The rabbits can do much more than just play silly games, as Rabbids Go Home proves. Still, the creators didn't manage to create a challenging adventure game, because the game is too repetitive and easy. What remains is a good looking game that will make you laugh more then once, but never really becomes great.- Gamer.nl

It is a pleasure to pilot a spaceship in Star Wars Squadrons. That is actually the most important thing. Especially in VR it is an unprecedented spectacle. It is a pity that at some point you get bored of that due to the poor story and the sparse multiplayer modes.- Gamer.nl

In the end, The BIGS 2 is just a logical sequel to The BIGS. It complements the game with a variety of modes like Become a Legend and Season. Although both are fun to play, they aren't really fleshed out. Even the addition of minigames and new gameplay-elements can't change that. This doesn't change the fact that, despite some quicktime events, the game plays surprisingly well. Both veteran and novice baseball-players will be surprised about the combination of accessibility and depth.- Gamer.nl

Broken Sword turned out to be a pretty decent adventure game that shouldn't be missed by the old and the new fans. The game has everything a good adventure should have and even offers a little bit more. The only thing we can nag about is the lack of extras after waiting almost thirteen years.- Gamer.nl
