The gameplay is easy but intuitive and it has definitely drawn inspiration from Pokemon Go. While both games are extremely attractive and cute, the game might be a bit too simple and shallow for the fans.

The proven concept of the franchise therefore remains unchanged and that makes NBA 2K21 hardly surprising, but a great basketball game.

11-11 tells a war story like we hardly ever see in games. There is a great eye for detail and for beautiful things that can arise from horror. The gameplay elements are not as amazing as the story, but they are not bad either, so you can still thoroughly enjoy the story.

Capturing monsters and making them stronger by using them in fights: It's a concept that has been done to death, but Joker 2 uses it with flair. The gameworld and story aren't as impressive.

Schizoid is a nice game that excels in the cooperative mode. Unfortunately the game feels a bit unpolished in places. The A.I. has its problems and the audio-video combo sometimes fails to deliver. Nonetheless, this game is a nice addition to your arcade games collection.

Fusion: Genesis is perhaps slightly overambitious, but in the end a most intriguing game about space exploration and adventure. It lacks an overall depth and the side quests are extremely boring, but we still hope it is the start of something new and exciting.

The basic principles of Blood Bowl 2 are fine, but the DLC should have been included in the original game. Still, this is a game that is a lot of fun for tactic gamers.

EA Sports FC 24 is in everything but the name 'just' another new Fifa, but a Fifa that we finally enjoy playing again. The smoother animations are the ultimate lubricant that finally addresses the biggest pain point of recent years.

It is unbelievable how great Doom works on Switch, but technically speaking this is not the best version of Doom that is out there.

It shows that Nintendo tried their best to do something new with the Mario vs. Donkey Kong franchise, which didn't pan out as hoped for due to a lack of a decent challenge. The level-editor makes up for a lot though, because it allows other players to challenge you with their creativity.

Paper Trail is a fairytale game with a unique and intriguing concept. Folding the world around you creates special puzzles that we have not seen before. Unfortunately, the game wavers from too easy to too difficult, but when it does manage to find that balance, Paper Trail is unapproachable.

Bizarre Creations delivers a different kind of shooter that will attract a specific kind of gamer. The boring setting and combo-system don't bring this game to the absolute top, but the addicting gameplay makes up a lot. If they put more effort in a possible sequel, it might become a classic in this new subgenre.

Thanks to a bunch of different game modes, multiplayer action and the possibility to create your own unique wrestler, WWE Legends of Wrestlemania turns out to be a very complete and over the top wrestling game. And if you add up the tons of content that you can unlock by throwing your opponent through the ring, it only gets better. The game is far from perfect, but if you dig sweaty men in spandex than you will dig WWE Legends of Wrestlemania.

Mark Leung: revenge of the Bitch is a bizarre role-playing game. It doesn't just take the piss out of the games industry, but mankind as a whole. Even its numerous technical issues come off as a bit charming.

Detroit: Become Human is an impressive game. The production value is huge, the characters are very realistic and the game offers amazing scenes. However, it does not all add up to one complete experience, as the story seems too big to be told in just this game.

Green Day: Rock Band is everything you would expect: the great concept of Rock Band, combined with a soundtrack of Green Day-songs. A solid game.

It's a shame that a sequel of a one of a kind game is as uninspiring as Patapon 2. The game is more of the same and sometimes to complex to actually play it with a smile.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is a solid fighting game which has the same atmosphere as the cartoon. If you like the series, you must add this game to your collection. For other players this game might also be interesting, since it's the first good fighting game for the Wii so far.

Sonic is finally back. Not that he was away, but he hasn't been in this sort of shape since the Genesis-days. That is not to say that he's completely like the old Sonic, because there are plenty of little niggles here for the fans to get irritated from. Still, he's fast and runs from left to right, just the way we like him.

CreaVures is a fun platformer that reminds us somewhat of Lost Vikings. All of the creatures have unique specialties that must be combined in order to reach the end of a level. Although the puzzles aren't too intelligent and you'll have gone through all of the areas in the nick of time, CreaVures is still one of the most fun indie-games of the last three months.

Book of Spells can't be recommended to the average gamer. Its pace is too slow and its base is too simple and boring. But your little sister or son should find magic here, thanks to the amazingly well implemented augmented reality features. He or she might have to listen and watch more than play, but is placed in a pretty and accessible world and eventually becomes a real wizard of witch.

Of course, Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits isn't as innovative as previous games, but it's a great place for newcomers to get acquainted with the franchise. The tracklist is top notch and the game is still addictive as hell.

The game has some nice action, original weapons and funny endbosses. The game isn't very original though, and it's more of the same. So if you are bored to death and have some money left, then Dark Sector could be a nice solution. But don't expect an earthquake in this genre.

The good intentions on the technical and visual part show more love for this pumped up classic, but the outcome is not that great. Thankfully Gabriel Knight had an intriguing story, good written script and good puzzles back in the day, because those things are still here and make Sins of the Fathers a decent game.

One of the most fun arcade games available for the Wii. The Brave and the Bold has fast action sequences, a big arsenal of weapons and unique moves for each superhero. The game pushes you to play on thanks to the open gameplay and humor, and the hand-drawn stop motion animation looks fantastic. The game is on the short side though and once you've finished it, there's nothing to come back to.

ATV Offroad Fury 4 isn't such a bad game. But it's clear that the game hasn't brought anything new. The core of the game is solid, but graphic wise the game isn't able to cope with the latest generations. Although we have to keep in mind that this is still a Playstation 2 game. The Story Mode is great and enjoyable, but they could have left out the Freestyle Mode of the game.

Homefront doesn't live up to its expectations. The emotional and atmospheric story of the (way too short) single-player slowly changes into an over-the-top first-person shooter that lacks in character. Homefront is one of the biggest disappointments of 2011, while the game in and of itself, isn't that bad.
