The weapons, settings, multiplayer: everything in Left 4 Dead 2 is near-perfect. There’s still no room for single players though, the game is all about working together. The trailer made us think that the fun, over the top gameplay of San Andreas was making a return, and while the end result doesn’t offer that, the story, characters, humor and the unbelievable amount of detail are still to be topped in any other game.

Tetris Effect is a beautiful and artsy way to experience the old game of Tetris. The full package might not be as full as we would have liked it to be, the creativity and love for this puzzle game is definitely there.

Three Houses is expanding the Fire Emblem series in an interesting way, cause your choices are important in developing your fighters. The story is not perfect, but with a large number of interesting characters, this is an impressive new Fire Emblem.

FIFA 11 doesn't reinvent the genre. It does however take the astonishing fundament of the past versions and polishes the experience by adding some excellent new features and changes. Is it the best footie so far? Maybe. Is it an extraordinary game? Without a doubt.

It Takes Two is a combination of a romcom and co-op game. The platforming feels fresh and new thanks to the wonderful surroundings and game mechanics.

Dead Space has enough new elements to make a memorable experience out of it. The lack of a HUD, the use of telekenetic powers and the original weapons all contribute to that. Even the setting, a spaceship, is done so well that there is enough variety in the environments. The controls could have been a bit more direct, but Dead Space is still a perfect way to have a few scary nights.

In this sci-fi adventure you feel like you are really working in some advanced space station. You float around, enjoying the amazing acting and the unique way of moving around in an impressive environment.

If you're looking for the most complete football game ever, stop looking. FIFA 12 has it all. And with the tweaks in gameplay it even offers a more challenging experience that will appeal to most football fanatics. What are you waiting for? Go get it!

Dishonored plays like a dream. Whether you're jumping from roof to roof unseen, stopping time with magical powers, going berserk like gunman Terry or sneaking up on someone for a silent kill, it all makes sense. The unlimited freedom feels great. Dishonored doesn't rise to greater heights due to its story. It's being told, but you never really experience it. Consequences of your actions are only heard, not seen.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown lives up to its expectations, mostly, and is a successful remake of the 1992 strategy classic. Strategically the game is still as deep and challenging as it used to be, but don't expect a direct copy of the original. It's more accessible, options are more limited and the gameplay is faster. This is good news though, because it provides XCOM: Enemy Unknown with a modern look, while the strong concept of the original remains intact. It can, without a doubt, be recognized as one of the best strategy games of the year.

Monument Valley lures in all kinds of players with beautiful, artsy levels with a great game world. In that world M.C. Escher's laws of nature reign: floors are ceilings and walls are doors. Monument' Valley is a fairytale with perspective.

The games on this disc aren't altered that much, but Metal Gear Solid 2, 3 and Peace Walker are still amongst the best action games you can play right now. Still, the first Metal Gear Solid is the best game in the series and is truly missed here.

Just forget the unsurprising singleplayer and you have the best online shooter available right now. Battlefield 3 has so much content that every shooter fanatic will have something to do. The detailed maps, deep gameplay and jawdropping graphics make this the best Battlefield ever.
