Tiny & Big is an action platforming game with a unique style and cool gameplay. The laser is fun to use and the levels are smartly crafted. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the high standards of games of the same genre like Portal or Phychonauts, since it's just too short and the developers couldn't get the most out of their gimmick.- Gamer.nl

Amazing Alex is pretty amazing. The puzzle game quickly gets a hold of you and makes you feel smart – even if you haven't got a clue on how to solve certain puzzles. An intelligent rating-system that reminds of Cut the Rope and a level editor will keep you invested in this game extra long.- Gamer.nl

Modern Warfare 2 is a Call of Duty game without any surprises, but that in itself is also no surprise. Some new features do not flourish, but Modern Warfare 2 is a traditionally complete game thanks to its great multiplayer and almost nostalgic single player.- Gamer.nl

The Escapists 2 does not do anything innovative, but it does offer some new features. There are new levels, a possibility to create your own character and new ways of escaping the prison.- Gamer.nl

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is mainly more of the same thing. Focusing on stealth gameplay is an excellent choice, but the story is all over the place.- Gamer.nl

This is a small and free preview of Life is Strange 2. It shows how games of Dontnod play and it is amazing how Dontnod can tell an emotional story in a very short amount of time.- Gamer.nl

Though the puzzles are very easy and the game could have been longer, Rick and Morty-fans will love this VR experience. There are so many Easter eggs and secrets to reveal, even after the 5 hour storyline Virtual Rick-ality is great.- Gamer.nl

With a smoother fighting system and plenty of secrets to discover, this second part does that a little bit better. Yet The Surge 2 lacks an innovative approach. The end result is therefore entertaining, but also predictable.- Gamer.nl

Get comfortable and grab a dictionary: word-wizard Maxwell is out on a quest to save lives. Don’t expect an innovative sequel, Scribblenauts Unlimited is the improved version of a known concept.- Gamer.nl

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is obviously not a full-fledged Mario Kart game. What it does offer is a special experience that feels very familiar to Mario Kart fans while being incredibly ingenious at the same time.- Gamer.nl

There are not many games as cruel and bloody as Killing Floor 2. Taking down waves of huge monsters was never as satisfying as in Killing Floor 2, but the gameplay is not as solid as it should be.- Gamer.nl

Battalion Wars 2 is, just like its predecessor, a decent game which has good online functionality next to its single player mode. The controls are smooth and the developer has made its own graphic uniqueness. The largest disadvantage about the game is that everything could be a bit more challenging.- Gamer.nl

Overlord II has refreshing and well designed levels and the multiplayer modes give the game meat. However, a frustrating camera, unstable framerate and crude humour take away from the experience.- Gamer.nl

Reus is a very good, well balanced game. The developers understand the essence of a godgame like no other and gave the genre a new twist. An original and challenging concept with which the Dutch Abbey Games put themselves on the map.- Gamer.nl

There is only one reason to play Mario Tennis Aces: it's versatile gameplay. If you do not consider playing this game online or co-op on your couch, you'd have to reconsider buying it. This really is made to be competitive.- Gamer.nl

Paper Mario's first outing on a handheld device is pretty charming, but the paper is starting to tear. The lack of RPG-elements make the fights feel pointless and some strange decisions lead to frustrating moments. Despite all the stickers, his game doesn't stick.- Gamer.nl

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky has got a lot of potential but stumbles in its efforts to bring you a great game. It offers you a fantastic and dynamic world in which you can freely roam. It even looks good. Unfortunatly the game also offers a lot of bugs and is the difficulty level is sometimes unfeasibly high. Nevertheless, if you fight your way past the flaws you will find something beautiful.- Gamer.nl

Satellite Reign is an amazingly detailed game in cyberpunk setting. Sometimes it gets a bit too chaotic and the story is not as memorable, but the feel of the game and the moving gameplay are extraordinary good.- Gamer.nl

Disney Infinity tries to do a lot of things and through that complicates things. There is a lot of emphasis on the Toy Box mode that gives to much freedom, while the different adventures could’ve offered more in terms of freedom. Because of this the game never manages to get to the next level.- Gamer.nl

Hohokum is a spiritual journey without a destination. It starts as an interactive screensaver, but slowly unfolds into a puzzle game. There are no hints, which is refreshing but ends up being feeling a a bit frustrating. It requires backtracking through a world in which navigation is cumbersome. That repetition detracts from the phenomenal design and soundtrack.- Gamer.nl

PopCap and Square-Enix come together to create a successful puzzle-RPG. The well thought out game mechanics ensure that you keep on playing to get another reward. On the other hand, the game costs a lot of time and after a few hours you can’t help but wonder what on earth you’ve been doing for the past couple of hours.- Gamer.nl

Unfortunately this is not a new chapter in the main series, but it’s still a good effort for a on-rails shooter. It looks good, has lots of hidden items and the main story will last you close to nine hours. The Darkside Chronicles also has a fantastic multiplayer. Still, you can’t escape the feeling that it could’ve been so much more if it wasn’t on-rails.- Gamer.nl

Call of the Sea gives that warm, almost nostalgic feeling of wonder. This six-hour puzzle adventure is filled to the brim with beautiful environments, occult mystery and unexpected plot twists. As a player you get the feeling that you have rediscovered a long forgotten fairy tale. But be warned: Call of the Sea plays anything but smooth and requires a lot of patience.- Gamer.nl

The strong plot of this third episode in the Republique series creates more room for emotional side stories. It poses relevant questions about the role of the gamer itself. The stealthy gameplay is not new, but it is easy and most of all: what you do does not have a lot of consequences, which sometimes sells the intriguing story short.- Gamer.nl

Trackmania DS shows that developer Firebrand Games can deliver a great product without spending a lot of time on an advertising campaign. The game scores on every front and gives an already crowed genre a new boost. Trackmania DS is a game that's worth your money if you take in account that the game offers no online mode.- Gamer.nl

Metal Gear Solid reinvents itself in Ground Zeroes. The controls are tighter, the world bigger and Snake more adult. It's a great demo for The Phantom Pain, the real fifth installment. This game is overshadowed by its unsympathetic business model.- Gamer.nl

Actual fear and horror step aside for an especially serviceable focus on action. This isn't solely the case for the lonely players though. Cooperatively there's more than enough quality to extract from F.E.A.R. 3, which makes this part the real successor to the original. The game stays on its feet, even though the story is poorly told and lacks impact, which is more than mentionable nowadays.- Gamer.nl

It is unfortunate that, with exception of the constitution and the present ages, the other innovations seem to bother Tropico 5. The dynasty mechanism is useless and is devoid of any personality. The multiplayer works when players work together peacefully, but falls apart once the game is approached as a competitive strategy game. Despite these setbacks, Tropico 5 does convince us. The core of the game was already strong and eras form a logical and organic progression in complexity. It is not the revolution that was promised, but Haemimont Games also get our vote of approval with part five of the series.- Gamer.nl
