A lovely, fun kartracer that’s worth playing alone or with friends. It may not be original, but the variety in tracks, recognizable characters and tight controls make this a great alternative for Mario Kart.- Gamer.nl

Dante’s Inferno copies God of War in every way possible, except the part that makes God of War really good: the epic scale, the fantastic build-up and original puzzles. These elements are simply lacking in Dante’s Inferno, and what remains is a brown version of the game that it was inspired by. EA could have done better with the source material.- Gamer.nl

The comeback of Medal of Honor is more or less a success, although the game obviously is more traditional than some of it's younger competitors. The singleplayer paints a realistic picture of Afghanistan, but the scripting is pretty bad. The multiplayer is hard and fast and takes some getting used to. An enjoyable package.- Gamer.nl

Though Cyber Sleuth can get a bit grindy, the systems and the story that come with it are fascinating enough to keep you occupied for hours. This is the perfect grindgame for those long summer nights.- Gamer.nl

Star Wars Outlaws deviates little from the formula of an average open-world game. However, Massive Entertainment introduces enough changes to create a refreshing experience.- Gamer.nl

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a fun platform and action game, but nothing more than that. It's a decent HD-reincarnation of The Sands of Time.- Gamer.nl

Jazzpunk is a rare comedian in games. As an adventure it doesn’t have much to offer, but the game succeeds in its primary goal: surprising its audience and getting them to laugh.- Gamer.nl

Fallout 4 was a strong game, but it had some weak spots when it came to the visuals, the challenge, the storytelling and the RPG elements. Bethesda obviously listened to the critique, as Far Harbor actually is a tad better than the original game.- Gamer.nl

Zombies aren't seemingly unhealthy looking people for a change. They have been replaced by purple blocks, which don't make them any less terrifying. This game offers an especially deep strategic experience with an abstract art style, but also comes with an unnecessarily steep learning curve and lacking an actual campaign.- Gamer.nl

Finding and collecting the many Bugsnax is as much fun as discovering the island and immersing yourself in the lives of the Grumpuses. The result is a humorous and entertaining adventure that will keep you interested until the end.- Gamer.nl

If you do not let the graphics get the best of you, Atelier Sophie is a great game to spend time with, full of cute girls and explosives.- Gamer.nl

Although WWE All Stars offers mild depth with its counter-system, it's mostly an easily accessible fighting-game meant for the nostalgic WWE-fan. One side-note: the WWE-series with oversimplified controls, faster gameplay and a catroony style turned the series around a different corner. The real WWE-fan – excluding the average gamer – might mourn over this. As a nice, quickly satisfying game, WWE All Stars is a fine and refreshing choice.- Gamer.nl

The Switch version of Yooka Laylee already includes the important updates of the other platforms, meaning that the game is a smooth play without any bugs. It is a great genre to play on the go, though the game itself does not really offer enough originality.- Gamer.nl

Two Worlds II isn't that progressive and well-known, but that doesn't matter. It's all about the most fundamental aspects and they are impressive. It makes the game one of the best RPG's of the year.- Gamer.nl

The iPad isn't exactly the ideal platform for an action game, but it doesn't get any better than the experience Max Payne offers. It's still a classic, with a gripping story and amazing action. Players might get tangled up in the controls from time to time, but for the ridiculously low price it's offered on the app store, it's a game you shouldn't miss.- Gamer.nl

Supreme Commander 2 shows that RTS-games can work on a console. The graphics aren’t on par with the PC-version, but in exchange you get an overall smooth experience. It’s a shame that the already empty multiplayer can’t compensate for the short and easy singleplayer on the Xbox 360, because an AI just can’t replace human competition.- Gamer.nl

Onrush goes for flashy racing action and does so awesomely. There is a lack of different modes to experience, but other than that this is a good racing title for many hours of fun.- Gamer.nl

Thanks to Rapstar we now finally have a karaokegame that makes us rap instead of sing. The problem is Rapstar can't decide if its for the hardcore hiphop-fan or the mainstream listener. And why on earth is the foul language edited out?- Gamer.nl

Ridge Racer is all about a couple of things: fast cars, pretty environments and especially well timed powerslides. This First trip to the 3DS doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesn't try to, which is why it turned out great for the fans of the series. Those fans won't be bothered by the lack of racetracks. Hopefully that'll be rectified in a sequel, just like a much needed online-mode.- Gamer.nl

While it won't make you the next Van Gogh or Cézanne, Art Academy certainly provides you with the basic toolset to develop your dormant talent. However, it doesn't come close to replacing the real thing.- Gamer.nl

Mafia II's strong points are the story and believable gameworld, as well as an authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately the game doesn't take enough risk and as a result makes less impact than the original. Players don't get enough freedom to come up with their own creative solutions during missions. It also doesn't help that there is a lot of filler during the missions.- Gamer.nl

After years of uninspired movie-licensed games, we finally get to run, fly and drive around with the Transformers and be happy about it. The lacking AI and unvaried fighting sections kill some of the fun, but the game does have a lot of redeeming factors and with a second player you'll feel right at home.- Gamer.nl

The season finale of The Wolf Among Us is well written and exciting from beginning to end. It’s a nice closure, but there’s a little nasty catch on Telltale’s part: put down the controller and the big bad wolf continues to run, punch and puff without you.- Gamer.nl

Mix Warcraft with Magic the Gathering and you'll get BattleForge. It's not a bad mix, but you'll have to get used to it. The learning curve is pretty steep and rookies will get their asses kicked within seconds. But, the game rewards the one that keeps trying with some tasteful gameplay and a delicious fantasy topping.- Gamer.nl

Sometimes more of the same is not so crazy. Patapon 2 Remastered does not do much new compared to its predecessor, but continues the same nice tone and lets us drum cries and death marches out of our controller for hours.- Gamer.nl
