Warriors of Rock is pretty much the same as the previous Guitar Hero, with the exception of the new campaign. Curiously enough this only weakens the game. The tracklist is varied enough to warrant a purchase, but developer Neversoft will have to come up with something more original for the next game in the series.- Gamer.nl

Zenless Zone Zero knows what it wants to be with the great setting, animations and designs. The fluid and in-depth combat, together with the variety of other gameplay, makes for a jam-packed game that will only get better. Still, that makes the game unnecessarily complex, and together with the slow start, it may discourage new players.- Gamer.nl

Die-hards might have something to say about some of Relics choices, but even they can't deny the excellent real-time strategy game that is Dawn of War 3. It is rich in choices, has great production value and offers an amazing campaign.- Gamer.nl

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin has no problem following in the footsteps of it's predecessor. Monolith obviously has chosen action before fear in part two but still manages to find the perfect balance between them both. On the outside the game lost some of it's powers and the attempt to put in some new gameplay elements doesn't always work. But in the end, the game is frighteningly good.- Gamer.nl

The Sims Medieval offers an amusing The Sims experience in an original way, which breathes new life into the franchise. The setting has been chosen well, there's plenty of variation and the The Sims humour is present once again. That doesn't take away from the fact that this shift in time will make fans who miss certain key elements drop the franchise as a whole.- Gamer.nl

The world of Tera is one that most gamers have seen a lot: monsters, heroes with a lot of equipment and heroines with huge, erm… skills. It's hard to blame people for leaving Tera for what it is after having taken a quick glance at it. But that would be a shame because Tera has a few refreshing game mechanics. The real-time battles are about skill instead of statistics and many different monsters make every fight exhilarating. It's too bad though that it has a terribly boring questing system.- Gamer.nl

Solar Ash is one of the most beautiful games of the year and plays incredibly fluid at times. Unfortunately, frustrating boss battles and erratic controls throw a spanner in the works, because this beautiful game world deserves to be explored and the platforming puzzles are fun to do.- Gamer.nl

This is not an extraordinary RPG or platform game, but it does have its own charm, weird humor and a lot of painful decisions to throw at you. This game might not be brilliant, it sure has a vision.- Gamer.nl

Klonoa: The Door to Phantomile is a polished version of a 2D-platformer that was released on the Playstation more than a decade ago. The gameplay is simple, well structured and offers just the right amount of challenge. Klonoa isn't one of the lengthiest games, but looks and plays great.- Gamer.nl

Trauma Center: New Blood is everything that Second Opinion was, only a little bit better. All the operations are fun and challenging to do and the extras and adjustments offer enough new gameplay elements that it justifies a new game instead of an add-on. Just beware of the difficulty setting, that only a true doctor will enjoy.- Gamer.nl

De Blob 2 is a platform adventure game in which you paint grim looking locations in all sorts of funky looking colours. Its luscious details and graceful design make it pure eye candy. That makes it all the more painful when you discover the monotonous nature of De Blob 2. The artificial difficulty in the form of a clock increases this painful sensation even more.- Gamer.nl

Peggle 2 might be the most addicting game on the Xbox One. Online leaderboards and more content would've done it a few favors, but it doesn't buckle under this criticism. 'Xbox, go to Peggle 2' will be a phrase uttered in many living rooms.- Gamer.nl

Tip: never play Moving Out with those who you would also ask for help with a real move. The question is whether your friendship survives at all, and watching couches being thrown through windows creates little confidence. You will have a few nice evenings though.- Gamer.nl

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is like a theme park. You get a ticket for all the rides, though they all aren't quite as exciting as the next. A few of them offer amazing action, in which you'll run, drive shoot and fly through levels, all the while other rides aren't as great. Fortunately the developers save the best for last and you're given a ticket to the nice multiplayer.- Gamer.nl

Capturing monsters and making them stronger by using them in fights: It's a concept that has been done to death, but Joker 2 uses it with flair. The gameworld and story aren't as impressive.- Gamer.nl

New Super Luigi 2 is actually a completely new game with dozens of levels. The abruptness of the shorter levels won't sit right with everyone, but do ramp up the difficulty. It's a shame though that it reuses all of the New Super Mario Bros. U art-assets and doesn't offer any new environments. This can be looked over though, by whoever can't get enough of qualitative strong platform adventures.- Gamer.nl

A stealth game from the makers of Metal Gear Solid, that continuously breaks the fourth wall: Republique is an original game in an interesting science fiction setting, the despite a few downsides, gets presented with so much enthusiasm, that it deserves a little love back.- Gamer.nl

With an impressive proprietary programming language, Gamestudio brings games development to the masses. Inventing and making your own games is explained with the help of seven extensive lessons, but sharing your own creations remains limited. It hardly spoils the fun, because the greatest fun lies in tinkering and experimenting. That part also has its limitations, but this is an extremely accessible entry point for the real handymen.- Gamer.nl

Awesomenauts adds a nice twist to the moba genre. The two-dimensional platform action, and tactical, insight reliant and team play focused strategy mechanics go hand in hand, surprisingly enough. After Swords & Soldiers another great game by Ronimo Games.- Gamer.nl

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 is what we came to expect from the series: it contains enough new stuff to justify purchase, but doesn't do anything groundbreaking enough to speak to a new demographic. The word 'solid' is usually not enough, but this franchise has been on this level for years, and we're simply getting used to it.- Gamer.nl

In terms of gameplay, Tales of Kenzera: Zau is not special and in terms of difficulty it is even unbalanced here and there. However, the game immerses you in an intriguing setting with a beautiful graphic style and a moving story. In combination with the entertaining combat, it is still worthwhile to venture to the mythical plains of Kenzera.- Gamer.nl

Crysis 3 doesn’t do much wrong as a shooter and is constantly entertaining thanks to the nanosuit and the addition of the bow. The multiplayer is also surprisingly fun. Other aspects aren’t as great though. Dialogues are simply terrible and the main campaign is quite short, especially for a game that’s at its best when played slowly. On consoles the game’s framerate also frequently drops significantly. None of these things are crucial enough to not recommend it though. Crysis 3 is just too much fun for that.- Gamer.nl

D4 is a greatly absurd adventure that thrives on its colorful characters and downright bizarre dialogues. When you’ve grown tired of serious adventure games like The Walking Dead and you want some humour in your life, D4 is good company.- Gamer.nl
