The game was worth waiting for. The action feels like Robocop meets Rambo with a little extra. Furthermore Bionic Commando features some references to the old game that will give the veteran a nostalgic feeling. The storyline and non linear gameplay spoil the fun a little bit, but in the end the game does exactly what is expected: shoot, stomp and swing.

Stacking makes use of some inventive gameplay mechanics that lets the player decide what kind of experience it wants to get out of the game. Accessibility, clever puzzle design, a charismatic world and oodles of fun are what developer Double Fine whips up into this delicious little game.

NBA2K18 is an amazing basketball game. Though the number of microtransactions are annoying, this game is filled with content for any type of player.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village offers a great mix of entertaining puzzles, easy and challenging. Even the option to buy certain hints will never let you solve the puzzle. True, the hints will clarify a lot, but will never give you an answer. The game sets your mind at work and you'll soon discover that on any giving moment of the day you start thinking about a solution. If you like puzzle games this one shouldn't be missing from your collection.

Very quick after Her Story, Contradication is another great FMV-game. It follows the standard whodunit formula, but because of the convincing acting, a likeable key character and hours of detective gameplay, this is one of the best in the genre.

Fate of Two Worlds is certainly entertaining. It doesn't matter if you have graduated from the traditional Street Fighter-school or if you don't know the difference between a Hadoken and a Dragon Punch. This game has over-the-top action and a low difficulty so that everyone can get enjoyment from this. However, it comes at the cost of balance between characters.

BiA: Hell's Highway is a must buy for any tactical shooter fan and is even fun to play for a 'normal' gamer. The combat is more than intens, the story keeps pulling you back and that typical Dutch atmosphere feels just right. Just be aware of the fact that after the ten our singleplayer experience there isn't much left for you to do. For the rest the game is one hell of a ride.

GTR Evolution feels like the most complete but also last installment in the series. The next one will probably be more like a revolution than an evolution. And with for good reason. Evolution is starting to look a little outdated. Just don't let this stop you from buying this game. GTR Evolution offers you an all-in-one package of cars and tracks in a racer that's almost as good as the real thing.

Watch Dogs is a slick action game that's very relevant today. The urgent theme opens the door for gameplay mechanics and situations that actually touch reality. However, the game lacks a strong protagonist and a focused story. That's a shame, because the foundation of the game - despite the somewhat tight pattern of the missions - is fine to say the least.

Viking: Battle for Asgard is a very nice hack-and-slash game. It's really not difficult to play and is still very enyoable. The huge battles with thousands of soldiers really makes the game supurb.

Company of Heroes 3 builds on what made the previous games so good. The tactical and at the same time chaotic way of warfare is even smoother thanks to the new gameplay elements and requires less micromanaging. Due to a lack of major changes, the end result feels like more of the same, but the enthusiast will be especially happy with that.

Mario Kart has a reason to be jealous. ModNation Racers has fantastic AI, balance and of course endless amounts of creation options. The small problems in the track editor can be taken for granted, but the handling of the karts and the agonizing load times keep this game from pole position.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge offers timeless entertainment. It's obvious that Tribute Games developed this game with a lot of love. That results in a game that plays it safe with a couple shortcomings, of which the chaotic multiplayer throws the biggest spanner in the works for less experienced players. Apart from that, this game is more than worth your time.

Though this game is obviously better for handhelds than consoles, the atmosphere and original gameplay still rocks on PS4. It does not matter if you are already familiar with this game or not, just play the Remastered version as it is worth your time.

The adventures of Sam & Max are without a doubt the best point and click adventures ever. Despite the fact that the game doesn't even come close to the PC-version, we still recommend every gamer that has never played a Sam & Max before should start playing it. If you already played the game on your PC than there is nothing new for you to explore. But cheer up, season three is nearly coming!

Trackmania DS shows that developer Firebrand Games can deliver a great product without spending a lot of time on an advertising campaign. The game scores on every front and gives an already crowed genre a new boost. Trackmania DS is a game that's worth your money if you take in account that the game offers no online mode.

The collision detection seems off sometimes and the game isn’t exactly an example of original gameplay, but this is the game you need to buy if you want to get to know the WWE-franchise. Smackdown vs. Raw can be played by anyone thanks to the simple gameplay and is also a looker. The game is also filled with different modes and options to make your own content to share it with friends online.

FIFA 14 is as strong on mobile platforms as it is on consoles. It works well with the limitations of a touch screen and the concessions in gameplay are hardly reason for concern. Especially with the free Ultimate Team-mode Fifa 14 offers an adult soccer experience.
