Kirby and the Forgotten World is one of the most enjoyable Kirby games yet. The magical three-dimensional game world, countless skills and funny Mouthvol shapes keep you entertained. Don't expect deep combat or challenging platforming, though - the focus is purely on carefree fun.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a step forward from its predecessor in every way. The game not only symbolizes the coming of age of heroine Amicia, but also Asobo as a developer. The result is a beautiful and heartbreaking story, tainted only by a contrived ending.

A singleplayer version of Gwent, that sounds boring, but it actually is amusing. It's written very well and tactical it knows how to challenge a gamer.

Kyrat is one of the most beautiful game worlds ever. It is so full of adventure that you will probably not even notice that the storytelling is not very strong.

Trials Evolution Gold is a very entertaining game with lots of spectacle, variation and challenges. It’s a shame that Redlynx didn’t go through much effort to create a worthy port to PC’s though, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it can easily be recommended.

Moss is one of the more unique games for PlayStation VR, without a doubt. The game does not just really use vr to the fullest, it feels amazing from start to finish.

Death Stranding Director's Cut is full of big and small adjustments. Some changes make the game a little more accessible, while others, such as the racetrack, increase the already stark contrast between the more playful and more serious side of the game.

What could I have done differently? Even with the option to rewind time, it is a question you will often ask yourself when playing Life is Strange. A unique story that asks of you to make big decisions, just to blow you away with the consequences.

Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition isn’t anything more than its predecessor. Yes, the graphics are a little bit sharper and yes, there are voice commands to, for instance, quickly switch to your map. But what has been added isn’t of value. The Definitive Edition is still a great adventure and a high point in its genre, but also only a recommendation for those who haven’t played Lara’s resurrection last year.

Starcraft: Remastered does what many remasters promise to do: relive the old days, without offering the disappointments of and old game. The looks and sounds are much better now and the gameplay is still great.

DmC: Devil May Cry is a fantastic game and a very successful reboot of the franchise. The new Dante is very convincing, just like the dark world and accessible gameplay. The increased accessibility might not fully cater to Devil May Cry-fans of old, but there's something for everyone here.

At its best moments, Manifold Garden is just as good as Portal and The Witness. And while the puzzle game gradually loses some of its power, the infinite, impossible and awesome levels continue to amaze.

InFamous is, in a nice way, a new type of game. The climbing onto building-part is truly from another level, your electric superpowers more than okay and Empire City a place that gives you goosebumps. The basics are so good that it lets you forget the minor flaws with ease. InFamous is a must buy and will offer hours and hours of gameplay.

Papers, Please gives you a simple task that doesn't ask a lot of you. The game outgrows its mechanics though, by appealing to your moral compass and emotions. This indie game will get under your skin, will have you feeling uncomfortable and have you think about yourself, as a person.

Space Invaders Extreme is a surprisingly pleasant sequel to the original game. The gameplay and style have been overhauled to fit more in this time and it only has a positive influence on the concept. The game just works and is a great addition to anyone’s collection.

The Old Republic is a high quality MMO that Star Wars-fan will absolutely love. Graphics, sound and story fit perfectly within the diverse Star Wars-universe. The game owes a lot to MMO's like World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online, however, many things we've seen in other games really shine in the capable hands of BioWare. The Old Republic is a game that will especially impress those new to the genre.

As far as we are concerned, this is an excellent starting point for strategy gamers. Mario + Rabbids feels like a Nintendo game, and a unique one at that. The levels are amazing puzzles and you do not need to know any complex mechanics to have fun with it.

Far Cry 2 doesn't quite live up to its expectations, but its in total a great shooter with more freedom then you can chew. It scores extra points with the original setting and superb transition from real life to your tv. True, the leveld esign could have been more creative, the storyline with a little bit more depth and the thousand and one control points a little less annoying, because that's the reason why Far Cry doens't get that monster score.

The core of the Crash franchise remains intact in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. On top of that are very well thought out level design, beautiful graphics and some innovations that bring the series to the present.

In the previous Battlefield games we had to do without the singleplayer mode. Fortunately Bad Company is changing that.

Call of Duty: World at War has a good, but not so memorable single player experience and a fantastic multiplayer. The cooperative mode is the best thing about the game, so people without Xbox LIVE Gold should wait for the game to appear with a budget price.

To get the most out of Chaos Rising you should also have Dawn of War II. Still, the improved campaign, new maps and addition of the Chaos Space Marines to the multiplayer won’t disappoint both new and existing players.

Playing this charming game feels as authentic as the first, even though this one is not a collaboration between Ghibli and Level 5.

Blasphemous 2 plays much better than its predecessor in many ways. The focus is more on dexterity and exploring the game world with your newly discovered skills. The lack of friction may have lost the soul a bit, but in return you get a wonderfully varied metroidvania that you can explore to your heart's content.

It must feel lonely at the top, but F1 2018 does forget to make changes to the faults of F1 2017. It still is a very deep Formule 1 game with challenging gameplay options.

Crysis 2 is an amazing game that doesn't live up to its full potential. The storytelling is au contraire to the new action system and amazing visuals, quite horrible. The game plays like a dream though, contains amazing actions sequences and offers enough variation in its somewhat linear missions. But it's the Nanosuit that makes Crysis 2 stand out from the crowd, which is also the case on the multiplayer front.

Rare Replay shows other developers and publishers how you release a collection of classics in the right way: thirty games for thirty euros, including fun extra's. The collection also is a good way of getting to know Rare's portfolio. A must-have for fans and newbies.

Hitman 3 manages to find an excellent balance within the existing formula. The levels are very diverse and full of options for devious assassinations. At the same time, Hitman 3 underlines that there is not much more stretch in this formula. Still, it is a worthy - and welcome - conclusion to the trilogy.
