Kong: Survivor Instinct is not a great video game, but it also isn’t a disaster. There are elements and moments where you become quite embroiled in the story and fall into the rhythm of the platforming, and this is bolstered by the fact that it’s quite a tight and streamlined experience lasting around four-to-five hours if you attempt to find everything. You don’t play this game and feel offended and cheated, as was the case with last year’s Skull Island or even at times with the recent The New Empire film, but at the same time, there’s not a lot here that stands out and really impresses. It’s a simplistic and budgeted offer based on one of the most expensive and lucrative franchises in entertainment, and that’s it.- Gamereactor UK

In its present state, it largely lacks polish and this overshadows a lot of what it gets right in terms of giving players a rich tool set and freedom in how heists are approached.- Gamereactor UK

Bye Sweet Carole is a game that you should come to solely for the story and the wonderful art direction. It's a fascinating idea with great potential, but the execution of this title and how it's fundamentally structured as a video game could be benefitted by a return to the chalk board.- Gamereactor UK

Neon Blood's short running time is an advantage because there is not enough content and ideas to fill more hours of entertainment. However, I wish Chaotic Brain had chosen to give the story more weight and a darker tone. They never managed to engage me and it feels like they themselves were lost and didn't really know in which direction they wanted to take the adventure.- Gamereactor UK

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is without a doubt the lowest point in this rebooted Modern Warfare series, and one of (if not the) lowest points in the series altogether, but that's not just because of the limited and rushed content, it's also because Call of Duty as a whole has become a user nightmare.- Gamereactor UK

Everything in Wanted: Dead is over-the-top. It's clichéd, it's deliberately preposterous and a clear nod to a bygone era. A frequently frustrating experience that requires constant full focus, and due to the brutal difficulty level it won't suit everyone but for those of us who have long dreamed of a resurrected Ryu Hayabusa, it's a gift from heaven.- Gamereactor UK

I do believe that Hellboy Web of Wyrd largely succeeds in being a faithful title to the franchise. However, this is down to its story, visuals, and performances, rather than the gameplay loop, which is a real problem for a roguelite.- Gamereactor UK

Right now, Nintendo feels like they're in a bit of a Kinect era with the Nintendo Switch 2. Trying out everything with fancy new tools like mouse controls and Game Chat, but not really knowing how to actually make these features into compelling game mechanics. Drag x Drive is unfortunately an experiment that hasn't nearly gone wild enough, and will be the subject of a tricky quiz question in a few years' time.- Gamereactor UK

There are elements of this expansion that are excellent and true highlights for the future of Destiny 2, but there is so much surrounding them that generates no joy whatsoever.- Gamereactor UK

It's a shame, because Hirogami is beautiful and built around a good design idea, but the resulting game is mechanically just not good enough and results in one of the most frustrating games I've played in 2025.- Gamereactor UK

Fort Solis is an atmospheric experience with impressive graphics and a slow, but interesting central narrative. But as a game it falls short on many parameters, with low interactivity, shoddy quick time events and exploration that rarely feels rewarding.- Gamereactor UK

If you have happy memories of the character, or if this particular game series was something that didn't catch your eye back then, Gex Trilogy is not a bad purchase.- Gamereactor UK

If you love, or are very curious about marine life, and if you're looking for a casual water exploration experience (I think it lacks excitement to be called an adventure), this works like a relaxing, occasionally fascinating interactive documentary that will pacify your own mind and body before going to bed.- Gamereactor UK

Curse of the Sea Rats has many fine qualities that make it a good game and if only some of its shortcomings had been cleaned up, it could definitely be a game that should not be missed.- Gamereactor UK

Sure the combat is a bit basic, the narrative middling at best, the enemy AI and actions are awful and highly predictable, the pacing too steady, and there are a fair collection of glitches when you mine and rip apart a wall with your pickaxe, but besides from these issues Return to Moria is good return for form for the usually rather fun The Lord of the Rings video games.- Gamereactor UK

This could easily have become a real hit of the best double-A kind if the game had received just a little more time, a slightly bigger budget and more polish. Unfortunately, the experience is also muddled by bad combat, clumsy directing and several problems of the technical and visual kind. Still, it's not hard to gleam the diamond in the rough here, and hopefully the developers at Reflector will be given more opportunities in the future after their debut, because there is definitely a lot of potential here.- Gamereactor UK

Hotel Barcelona seems strangely ordinary when you consider who is behind the game. That's not to say that it IS ordinary, because it definitely isn't, but I had expected a more crazy game.- Gamereactor UK

What is clear is that the overall experience as The Spirit of the Samurai is satisfying, even beyond having such special artwork. The voice acting is very well done, and the story, which also connects to the present in a way, kept me entertained for a few hours until the end credits.- Gamereactor UK

The Last Case of Benedict Fox is a better detective-exploration-puzzle-adventure than it is a Metroidvania and if you've decided to give it a go, it must be because you love exploring the environment, finding clues and solving puzzles.- Gamereactor UK

There are moments and parts of the game that impress and excel, but there are also plenty of areas, mechanics, and features that frustrate or disappoint. It feels limited on content and mechanically lacking at times, but it's still authentically Looney Tunes and that alone will mean that it'll offer up the occasional laugh and giggle as you plug away, score some screamers, shoot some hoops, tee off, and smash some aces. What else can I say except... That's all Folks!- Gamereactor UK

Tales of the Shire does many things right, but there are also fundamental things that it just doesn't quite get right, and that affects the game more than you might think. But if you're looking for a cosy life sim game to play over the summer, or if you just have to own everything with The Lord of the Rings' name on it, then take a look at Tales of the Shire, but be prepared for the fact that life as a hobbit isn't quite as inviting as you might think.- Gamereactor UK

The gunplay, Descendant options, buildcrafting, visuals and graphics, action, cooperative systems, these all work hand-in-hand to make this an promising experience. It's just hampered in so many other places that make me frustrated and tired of playing.- Gamereactor UK

Elrentaro's Wanderings doesn't really have any major problems other than it's a pretty simple adventure moulded in a template we've seen before. It mixes some relationship sims with dungeon crawlers and lots of dialogue sequences between fairly anonymous characters and it chugs along pleasantly without being directly fascinating.- Gamereactor UK

I feel well equipped to state that Mighty Doom is a stain on the series' reputation. Not only that, it reminds us that the mobile market remains a toxic swamp filled with ghosts pretending to be something completely different than they really are.- Gamereactor UK
