A gripping, violent and intense gangster epic, held back by weeping orphans and frustrating hold-ups in the story. Could have been a truly great game, but its many flaws make it merely good.- Gamereactor Denmark

Even though the original NBA Jam is 17 years old, and the formula hasn't changed much since then, EA's latest revival seems surprisingly fresh and has an irresistible playability. The controls are simple enough that you'll know them by heart within minutes, the graphics are fun, and the commentator has so many one-liners that you can't help but get a smile on your face. Boomshakalaka!- Gamereactor Denmark

Still doesn't have the breadth necessary to reach those who haven't been following the series for years, and still limps along when it comes to the vital online component. King of Fighters XIII is certainly a step in the right direction, but not quite the definite version of the series.- Gamereactor Denmark

Metroid: Other M should have been a much better game than it actually is, and ends up appearing like a sloppy update of one of Nintendo's most beloved series. It lacks the understanding and admiration of the original 2D games that the Metroid Prime series just oozed, and could just as well be any other action game. The last couple of hours do a lot to help the overall impression, but the question is whether you have the patience to actually reach them.- Gamereactor Denmark

Modern Combat 5: Blackout is a mixed but overall great experience. If you come for the singleplayer campaign, you can easily deduct a number from the final grade due to a fragmented campaign. Are you looking for some great FPS multiplayer action in mobile form, you won’t go wrong. Modern Combat is still the world's best multiplayer shooter series for mobiles.- Gamereactor Denmark

Aside from the improved graphics and the addition of minecarts, there's not much here that's actually new. Other endless runners have raised the bar for what we expect from this genre. Still, even though Temple Run is no longer the king, it's still a fun game.- Gamereactor Denmark

Puzzle Dimension is a fantastic summer game, one you can play for short bursts to kill a few minutes, or for long stretches if the Danish summer does its usual thing with more rain than sun. It has plenty of challenge without ever getting frustrating.- Gamereactor Denmark

TT Games have clearly understood the criticism that's been aimed at their games of late, and Lego Batman 2 is without a doubt the best experience I've ever had with any of the Lego games.- Gamereactor Denmark

A fun mix of Team Fortress 2 and Defense of the Ancients. The seemingly odd mix works well, and along with the low price and the ease of accessibility, Monday Night Combat is a unique offering on Xbox Live Arcade: a shooter that doesn't loudly claim to be the new challenger to Modern Warfare 2's throne, bur rather is content with being its own thing. If Uber Entertainment keeps on adding content and fine tuning the balancing, this should keep fans of team based shooters happy for a long while.- Gamereactor Denmark

This is the best Wipeout in a long time, and the best introduction to the series a newcomer could wish for.- Gamereactor Denmark

It could do with more variety, the sound can be rather grating and the presentation is bland. But at its core this is a fun RTS with some of the best controls the genre has had on consoles.- Gamereactor Denmark

It's a game that entertains, and important elements like the controls and simple menus deliver the goods. Yet we doubt that we'll remember it when rounding up the many great XBLA releases this year in a few months.- Gamereactor Denmark

While it certainly has flaws, we’ll still wholeheartedly recommend Valiant Hearts to anyone, as it offers a beautiful and respectful tale of one of the most gruesome periods in modern history.- Gamereactor Denmark

The new combo weapons adds an extra dimension to the always consistent fun of killing zombies. An excellent appetizer for the full game, but also one that's over just as you get really into it. But that's probably the point. Great fun while it lasts, and well worth the price.- Gamereactor Denmark

With all the content on offer there should be something for everyone here to enjoy. It's not a perfect game, as parts of the story, some cutscenes and a few graphical missteps in some of the indoor environments disrupt the picture. But on the whole those are just minor complaints as Ubisoft has delivered a game of the highest calibre in both single and multiplayer.- Gamereactor Denmark

The gaming equivalent of a robust, salty and fatty Sunday afternoon hangover meal. It may not be rich on fiber, but it’ll get right on your sides and stay there for quite a while. Be warned, it’s highly addictive.- Gamereactor Denmark

Trials Fusion is as addictive as always, a fantastic experience that balances complexity and nuanced simplicity in a display of level design power. The eight worlds are easily enough to justify the price tag, and the track creation tools will make us keep coming back for ages.- Gamereactor Denmark

In many ways, Prototype 2 is the game its predecessor should have been, and offers more of all the things the first one got right. Any fan of sandbox games should take this for a spin.- Gamereactor Denmark

It takes a little while to get going, but once it hits its stride, this clever Lemmings-inspired puzzle game will leave you glued to your dual screens. With 200 levels the longevity should be in place, and so we'll heartily recommend Mario vs. Donkey Kong to any puzzle loving DS owner.- Gamereactor Denmark

Dragon Age Origins was an enormous mouthful in a time where huge games are a rarity. Dragon Age II is somewhat shorter, but nevertheless a big game with an exceptionally well-framed story. Most of the new additions and updates are welcome, even if they don't put the game at the front of the pack. Easily recommended.- Gamereactor Denmark

This game is made for fans of the original. Killing friends in split-screen is just as much fun as it was years ago, at least for the nostalgic value. Had it used a more modern graphics engine this would have been game of the year on Xbox Live.- Gamereactor Denmark

A great game with enough to please fans of the series and even welcome new players. A new control scheme might add a bit of frustration, but this is quickly forgotten when you dive into the great multiplayer. Team Kilo Squad and the addition of a new star system which awards special play throughs of levels in single player mode add to an already enjoyable title.- Gamereactor Denmark

Based on the Hunters-engine Warhammer Quest takes Rodeo Games’ futuristic turn-based strategy adventure to the classic Games Workshop fantasy universe. Amazing design, perfect use of touch and gorgeous details makes this an incredible game. The only let down is the way missions are randomly generated, which is some cases instills a sense of Déjà vu. A near perfect conversion of the classic board game and a solid strategy title on its own. Play it on hardcore with permadeath and you can wave goodbye to your sanity.- Gamereactor Denmark

Simple, fun, crazy and addictive. These are all words I would use to describe this pixelated twin-stick-shooter. Good chiptune-music, charming retro graphics and tons of loot keep you hooked no matter if you are in for a retro fix or a simple space adventure with focus on ship building.- Gamereactor Denmark

The long-running series' third outing makes the leap to consoles with style. It's impressive how EA have managed to cram in almost every aspect of the PC game, without having to make any notable compromises. The controls take some getting used to, and the game frequently has to load, but Sims-fans will be happy to know that this is the best console-outing the series has offered yet.- Gamereactor Denmark

A bizarre mix of wildly different genres, weird chibi-inspired graphics and loads of charm. For once it feels like Square Enix has rediscovered their ability to take any genre and give it their own unique twists, and coupled with a backdrop consisting of the entire Final Fantasy series, this game becomes quite the charmer.- Gamereactor Denmark
