Costume Quest is a fun, well-presented Halloween tale well worth the purchase.

All in all, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is a good game, but a great art direction, narrative, and fantastic soundtrack can only go so far to counterbalance a short campaign with average gameplay.

Skyrim: Dawnguard will not blow your mind, but it's a decent addition to the Skyrim franchise, so long as you're willing to buy into the vampiric premise. There's a number of lore-rich encounters that long time TES fans will love, and a number of extras that help pad the package.

I'm thankful to this game, because it intrigued me enough to check out the excellent movie and the even more excellent graphic novels. It opened my eyes to the works of artist Paul Robertson and the band Anamanaguchi. It's just a damn shame that the game is nothing special.

Dante's Inferno is undoubtedly just another action game that doesn't stand out among its peers. While short, every minute of it is enjoyable and challenging, and it succeeds in being a quality addition to the long list of western style action games.

Straying from the mold, Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans is a solid adaptation of the high flying, explosive action for the RPG genre. While it's not a perfect game by any means, it's quite possibly the best Dragon Ball Z game to date.
