Despite some elements that could have been improved considerably, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories takes the series in a much-needed new direction, making this a game that you simply must experience.

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is one of the best retro games I can ever remember playing. Some gamers might find it to be too short or too antiquated, but it definitely holds its own when compared to the old games that established the series.

Wherever your proclivities lie in terms of player with others will no doubt change your expectations, but I personally had a blast online with Mercenary, and I think most shooter fans will too.

Wings of Prey ingeniously combines the skies over Europe with the WWII stage to bring players a gift that will please both rookies and fighter aces.

Whether you're a fan of shooters, rhythm games or are just looking for a breath of fresh air, PlayStation 3 owners would do well to take Retro/Grade for a spin around space and time.

Colors is a definite improvement on Sonic Unleashed. By no means is Colors the 3D Sonic you've been waiting for, but if you can get through all the frustration, there is a lot of fun to be had in this package.

Dissidia 012 is technically an improvement on its predecessor. The stylish combat is still a blast and Final Fantasy fans will be as enamored as ever, but a number of the improvements seem half-realized.

But as long as you like rhythm games, turning it away simple because it isn't fun to watch would be a major mistake, as Blitz is one of the most enjoyable rhythm titles I've played in years. All of the nuances involved make it much more interesting than simply attempting to "get 100% of the notes," which is something truly special.

The combination of deceptively simplistic gameplay and zen inducing audio tracks make for an excellent puzzle experience whether you’re a fan of the genre or not.

If you haven't played the original Mount & Blade, go a head and pick up Warband. If you already have M&B, you may want to skip it.
