Aside from some limitations in its progression system, Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is a highly enjoyable kart racer that can look Mario Kart straight in the eyes.

A great choice for those who seek a 2D "anime" fighting game. Under Night in-Birth Exe contains both great content and excellent combat system.

It goes without saying that both Super Mario Galaxy titles are among the best 3D platformers ever made. Their level design remains fascinating even by today’s standards, and the gameplay is nothing short of pure fun. While the extra content in the remaster isn’t particularly noteworthy, it doesn’t diminish the overall excellence of these games.

It might not be equal to the leap we saw with the 2019 version, but F1 2020 is a superb racing game that emulates in the best possible way the official championship.

A strategy / puzzle game masqueraded into a card game, set in the world of Witcher. Only CD Projekt RED could take something phenomenally strange and turn it into such a magnificent and addictive game.

Black Ops 6 is more than a complete Call of Duty experience marking a definite positive step for the series, making up for the bad taste left by Modern Warfare III. The gunplay is sharper than ever, the new Omni Movement system refreshes the gameplay, and the return of Zombies Mode brings a tense and enjoyable experience.

Ignoring modern trends for simple and easy games, Creative Assembly offers an enticing gameplay for hardcore followers and newcomers alike. Shogun 2 has indeed evolved into a superb and tighter experience than its predecessors.

After an excellent remake, we finally have a new entry in the series after many years of absence. While the story has its quirks and exaggerations, the atmosphere, combat, and riddles all click together in that unmistakable Silent Hill way, signaling a great return for one of gaming’s most iconic survival horrors.

While the PC edition is the undisputed king, the first true, numbered console edition of the series is wonderfully designed and - much like the “chronophage” it always was - it is destined to lead unsuspecting console gamers into many sleepless nights.

Many remakes and remasters fall short of reaching the success of their predecessors, but Perfect Chronology is not one of those. While the new content is mostly optional and the aesthetics virtually identical, the experience of the first Radiant Historia is preserved the way it should be, with the gameplay tweaks benefiting the overall experience.

Without any real competition to push the genre forward, 2K Czech delivered a solid, fun and quite enjoyable tennis game. But in the future, we'd like to see something more bold and innovative.

The combination of the RTS and action RPG elements into a new, hybrid game work beautifully here, making this the most successful (so far) iteration of the experiment Relic began with DoW II. It wonʼt appeal to hardcore strategy enthusiasts, but then itʼs not trying to.

There is no need to talk extensively about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt since it has already been more than 4 years since the day of its release. This time, a game that is among the crowing jewels of the RPG genre is gracing Switch with its presence, bringing the full Witcher 3 experience on a handheld device. While the shortcomings stemming from the mediocre visuals are many, the players who are ready to accept them can proudly walk along with the White Wolf on the Portable Path.

Xenonauts 2 is a highly competent, albeit unofficial, successor to the original XCOM. Its old-school aesthetic may be an acquired taste, but fans of this niche genre will find a deep and challenging experience, both in base management and in combat, that is highly rewarding and benefits thoughtful tactical thinking.

Lords of the Fallen more than meets our expectations offering a vast and intricately designed world in the same vein as the first Dark Souls. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but this doesn't stop it from being one of the best, if not the best, soulslikes not made by From Software.

This new version of Super Mario RPG is a by the numbers remake that follows to the dot the content of the original. Its updated visuals are very nicely done while also it provides some welcoming QoL improvements. However, fans of the original can hardly expect any surprises. Be that as it may it still provides a nice excuse for a trip down the memory lane.
