Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is such an excellent game, that makes its wonderful predecessor, Kingdom Battles, look plain and basic. And that is something that screams “great sequel”.

Don't let the Portal similarities fool you. This is a cleverly designed puzzle game with its own identity, that will keep you hooked for hours upon hours.

Codemasters returns to glory with the rally game we all have been waiting for. This is probably the best game in its genre since the days of the original Colin McRae Rally franchise.

Not only a relaxing and enjoyable game to mindlessly spend your time, but also a highly addictive, outrageously difficult and demanding platform of competition, all wrapped up in a beautiful visual field.

After a long absence from portable consoles Samus is back with a seemingly old adventure, which has been revamped and looks better than ever. Old and new players alike can explore the homeland of the Metroids using weapons and skills that didn't appear in the first game, whereas Nintendo highlights a bright future for a series that deserves to be back.

Capcom’s unstoppable streak of excellent titles continues. This time, it succeeds in a sci-fi setting, delivering stunning visuals and a deeply personal story between Hugh and Diana. Their relationship feels natural, heartfelt, and genuinely funny in all the right moments. More importantly, Pragmata achieves something truly unique, by introducing a fresh gameplay mechanic in the third-person shooter genre, seamlessly combining shooting and real-time hacking in a way that feels both innovative and satisfying.

A feast for the senses, Ni No Kuni has a lot to offer to the hardcore JRPG gamers. Irregular difficulty, slow pacing and poor friendly AI are its problems, but if you can get past them, you will be captivated by its wonderful world, deep mechanics, great post-game length and overall beauty.

The second installment in the Legend of Grimrock franchise reminds us why hardcore, traditional dungeon crawlers can be so addictive and beautiful experiences. Improving in almost everything compared to the original game, The Legend of Grimrock II will take you on a journey so special like few games can.

Unfortunately the newest expansion of the popular card game not only does little to provide additional depth, quite the contrary as it rather reduces the variety of top decks. We wouldn’t be surprised if in the near future we will only see a handful of identical decks on the virtual tables.

It goes without saying that the original Super Mario Bros. Wonder was an excellent 2D platformer, worthy of Mario’s legacy. This new edition retains that quality, but when it comes to new content, it lacks any truly exciting additions or levels. The new character feels like a repetition of existing ones, and the new transformation is underwhelming. New players will still have a blast, but those who already own the game won’t find enough here to justify the upgrade cost.

Echoes of Wisdom offers a variety of clever puzzles that go hand in hand with its excellent gameplay and charming story, which looks and feels like it came straight out of a cozy fairytale. It's nothing short of a highly memorable and fulfilling experience.

While a bit safe in design, The Outer World offers a well imagined new world with great writing, crazy characters & politics, 30 well-packed hours with tons of replayability and a sublime background texture of Easter eggs, tributes and well crafted jokes.

A spectacular 3D metroidvania game with great combat depth, accessibility options that should exist in any Soulsborne game and exceptional level design & traversal. It is just sort of reaching greatness due to is average storyline, forgettable villains and the unfortunate modern trend of being released before getting the final 3-4 months of polishing needed to achieve a smoother experience.

Offering a vast universe filled with well-written and diverse stories Starfield is certainly a highly enjoyable game. Be that as it may, it comes along with certain shortcomings which more than anything stress out the need of Bethesda to (finally) invest in a new game engine.

DOOM is the incarnation of classical and vintage FPS gameplay with some really interesting twists that convey even more substance and flavor to the game. DOOM has an uncompromised technical performance and a high replayability value plus a frantic. It’s unfortunate that the old school multiplayer included feels like a lost opportunity. Nevertheless, the whole package pulses with energy and adrenaline. Try it on the higher difficulty settings and feel the wrath of Hell.

Snake Eater's remake truly shines in its visuals, delivering an excellent modernization of what is arguably the best title in the Metal Gear series. However, its extreme faithfulness to the original also revives several dated limitations, such as the clunky A.I. and the overly compartmentalised jungle.

Frostpunk 2 aims to deepen its gameplay elements but this proves to be a double-edged sword. While the world is larger and the gameplay loop more intricate, these additions don't prevent it from feeling repetitive. The expanded world may sound intriguing, but it ultimately creates a more impersonal experience. Fans of the original will find plenty to enjoy, though they may feel this entry is more of a sidestep than a step forward.

Huntdown is definitely aiming in "emulating" the scenery, brutality, and b-movie aesthetic of the 80s action movies, but from the lenses of an 16-bit, pixel art game that would fit in perfectly in the arcade cabinets of their golden age. Need we say more? Just enjoy its simplistic albeit utterly enjoyable action.

AC Origins is definitely a back to the roots (story and gameplay wise) effort with a great setting, a well written script and amazing visual department. The action rpg elements, though well implemented, leave much to be desired and side quests are blunt and indifferent. However, the late Hellenistic Egypt is a vibrant world with much to do and many secrets to unveil.

Obsidian Entertainment managed to create a South Park game that is completely indistinguishable from the TV series. The witty and vulgar humor, the cutout aesthetic, and the hilarious voice talents of Matt Stone and Troy Parker are all present. Fans of the series shouldn’t miss it.

If the name "Commandos" sparks a welcoming nostalgia feeling then Shadow Tactics should be a game you should not miss. Mimimi Productions manages to convince us beyond doubt that this niche and long forgotten genre is not only far from obsolete, but rather feels as fresh as the first time we put our hands in Pyro’s first endeavour.
