Critter Café is very cute and cosy, perfect for a younger demographic, but there isn’t that much substance to it that made its 12+ playtime all that engaging.

There’s so much potential here, but Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire just feels rushed and unpolished. I had high hopes, but they just didn’t fly.

Sofie: The Echoes looks like a compelling story-driven shooter at first glance, but it’s rife with awful enemy AI, optimisation issues, poor design choices, and game-breaking bugs. Steer clear of this one.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard isn’t BioWare’s best work, but it’s good. Offering a beautiful world and a ton to do, heading back into Thedas is an easy choice for some. For others, the downgrade in writing and limited combat might be a dealbreaker.

The Iron Rig adds an intriguing side story to experience while you revisit old locations hunting new prizes. While a bit repetitious for seasoned sailors, the DLC does add some fun upgrades to aim for and characters to meet.

Dead Season is functional and fun at times but is let down by strange design choices and a repetitive campaign.

Mexico, 1921. A Deep Slumber. is an interesting look into the history of Mexico from the eyes of a normal citizen. The camera mechanics are great and the plot seems interesting, but it is let down by some major bugs.

It’s a great time with solid writing and gameplay, but there’s no reason to replay to explore the world.

Talisman: Digital 5th Edition breathes new life into this classic board game. The new art and animations are fantastic, without losing the signature style. With the less harsh events and streamlined rules, you may even finish a game in a session!

Toads on the Bayou is a challenging game with a fun voodoo-inspired story, great look, and fun characters. I was only able to play a small part on PC, so I hope it gets fixed!

A fairly standard roguelike, [REDACTED] is nevertheless a fun, if brief, return to Black Iron Prison. Just with a much more colourful, flashy aesthetic!

(CARD QUEST) is a great game, with quick runs to play but provides a serious challenge that will get you thinking. However, expect a heavy grind if you want to bring out a character’s true potential.

GSC Game World nails a unique mixture of genres between survival horror and open world with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The atmospheric environments, engaging gunplay, and the constant feeling of threat culminate in a heavy recommendation from me for fans of the genre.

Kill Knight manages to mix hectic and ultra-responsive arcade gameplay with a fun layer of resource management and strategy to create a great challenge to bite into. The visuals are splendid, the enemies never stop coming, and the battle is glorious!
