A fairly standard roguelike, [REDACTED] is nevertheless a fun, if brief, return to Black Iron Prison. Just with a much more colourful, flashy aesthetic!

(CARD QUEST) is a great game, with quick runs to play but provides a serious challenge that will get you thinking. However, expect a heavy grind if you want to bring out a character’s true potential.

GSC Game World nails a unique mixture of genres between survival horror and open world with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The atmospheric environments, engaging gunplay, and the constant feeling of threat culminate in a heavy recommendation from me for fans of the genre.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a fun addition to the series and for the Switch. It has fun gameplay and great humour, but feels repetitive at times and quite long.

Although it has some interesting aspects, Together in Between is largely unenjoyable due to the gameplay being repetitive button presses with little thinking required.

BEHEMOTH is an addictive arcade game that is a chaotic version of Flappy Bird. If you always want to get the highest score, you will enjoy this game.

Kill Knight manages to mix hectic and ultra-responsive arcade gameplay with a fun layer of resource management and strategy to create a great challenge to bite into. The visuals are splendid, the enemies never stop coming, and the battle is glorious!

Soul Stalker is a cute, cosy bullet-hell game which is a unique combo to find, but its small stages and soundtrack don’t make this title super exciting to play.

Tails of Iron tells an impressively deep story with no dialogue and keeps you entertained in the interim with witty charm and gruesome combat. Definitely worth a try if you are a fan of soulslikes.

Diplomacy Is Not An Option offers plenty of modes for beginner and experienced RTS players to enjoy, with a tongue-in-cheek attitude and gameplay that’s easy to understand.

Lords and Villeins: The Great Houses is a boost to an already great game while not fixing the small issues the base game has. If you have already completed the base game or want to play a slow game of conquest, this is your perfect DLC.

A fun experience with interesting mechanics that is only let down by a dull combat system.

As mech games go, MechWarrior 5: Clans is an easy-to-recommend title full of action and drama. It may take itself too seriously, but this is still a brilliant sci-fi adventure.

Iron Man VR is an instant must-play from its tutorial and gets only more enjoyable as the story progresses.

Viscera is a really great time, revelling in its endless enemies to kill and guns to fire. What’s underneath those blood and guts can be shaky, if you’re looking for something fun, dumb, and awesome, check it out.

Tetris Forever is a great way to play through the history of the franchise with some awesome titles that were never released outside of Japan.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a great first attempt into the videogame sphere, with unique innovations and ideas that are a no-brainer for those intrigued considering the low entry fee.

Garden Witch Life has fun gardening gameplay and a lot of potential, but the good is overshadowed by underbaked characters, awkward progression, bugs, and a lack of “witchy” elements.

Old Market Simulator teaches you the value of hard work, trading modern-day conveniences for satisfying gameplay that will keep you hooked, but lacks properly teaching the player of its many aspects and assumes some level of previous experience.

A somewhat disappointing Transformers game, but maybe a decent Earthspark game?

Roundguard is perfect for a couple of levels here and there, or if you want a longer gaming session. It won’t be for everyone and can be repetitive despite the randomness, but is overall a lot of fun. I’m not a big fan of roguelikes, but it seems if you mix it with Peggle I’m much more likely to enjoy it. And at least there are no unicorns in this.

It may be a little hard at first, but DeathSprint 66 offers an extremely fast and kinetic approach to racing that really makes the most of its 3D space, making for a bloody good time.

Lucky Hunter is very, very addicting. Its satisfying gameplay loop kept me coming back for more. Just be warned you might need to set yourself a limit before you find yourself losing a day or two to it!

Metal Slug Tactics' move from the arcade to a tactical RPG has turned out better than I ever expected, this game is both challenging and rewarding to play.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO feels like a faithful continuation of the series. Beautiful visuals and epic combat make for a great combination and the creative What If scenarios were a treat to explore. A definite recommendation for fans. The AI cheats, though.

Slayaway Camp 2 is a fun, cartoony spoof of classic horror movies that is full of challenging puzzles but is willing to help you when you are stuck. This is so fun!

Simple and effective. Toy Tactics is an absolute charmer, and one you won’t regret picking up!

Planet Coaster 2 is one of the pinnacles of the theme park simulator genre and while it doesn’t have a smooth learning curve for newcomers, it’s safe to say that those who have already mastered its systems will enjoy it immensely.
