Rage of the Dragons brings back the adrenaline of 2D battles with refined gameplay, charismatic characters and a dual combat system that demands strategy and precision. In this game, every blow counts and every decision can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Rage of the Dragons NEO is a updated version of Rage of the Dragons, released in 2002 for arcades. It was a unique and innovative game, mainly due to its highly praised visuals and technical aspects at the time. With beautiful scenery and animations, incredible moves and an acclaimed soundtrack, it's a must-have for any fighting game lover.

Famous for being very challenging, Rage of the Dragons NEO is based on tag team battles where the player uses two characters, controlling one at a time, being able to alternate them during combat, and being able to use both at the same time to perform unique special moves.

Rage of the Dragons NEO features:

    - Dual combat system: choose two fighters and switch between them in real time, creating devastating tricks and combos
    - Iconic characters: Meet a gallery of fighters with unique styles, each with their own story and abilities ranging from the traditional to the supernatural.
    - Classic arcade mode: Relive the golden days of fighting games with arcade mode, taking on a series of opponents in pursuit of the title of champion.

Rage of the Dragons NEO is a niche within a niche, an odd game with an odd history that appeals to an extremely specific kind of audience. That’s tough for any game, but especially a fighting game that has to compete with the likes of Street Fighter and Guilty Gear. Not having cross-platform play is an additional barrier that seems to already be making online an actual ghost town. That’s unfortunate. But if you’re interested in gaming history, fighting games, and the weird intersections thereof, Rage of the Dragons NEO is really cool. I can see it coming out in-between sets of the bigger titles, a fun side game at local tournaments, or just a cool thing for enthusiasts to satisfy their own curiosity with. The Bleem! IP is also involved somehow, making perhaps even this new version a novel relic of its own.

If you're a massive fan of the original Rage of The Dragons Neo Geo title, then this is a great way to revisit it but if you're not, the brutal difficulty might leave you feeling like you've wasted your money.

Rage of the Dragons NEO isn't a bad fighting game, and QUByte Interactive's port couldn't have been better. However, the game itself is worth checking out out for the sake of curiosity only.

Rage of the Dragon NEO is a challenging arcade-style fighting game that boasts a roster of unique fighters. With no crossplay option, online battles are hard to find.
