Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown has a lot to offer fans of the series, but might struggle to attract others thanks to the challenge and lack of interactivity.

The visuals and designs are all great, and the gameplay can be fun, but it feels like something is missing, combined with slippery controls and an annoying camera.

Wren’s Resurgence is a fast-paced action title with great parkour action, but at this current stage, it is very buggy.

A reliance on meta-jokes and pop-culture references, alongside irrational puzzle design leave this point and click adventure falling short of its true potential. Fans of the genre will likely find enjoyment here though, if only due to the obvious inspirations behind the game.

3030 Deathwar Redux - A Space Odyssey offers a stunning universe to explore but forgets to fill it with a fun variety of things to do.

DeadCore is a challenging puzzle-platformer that really demands a high skill level of its player base. Visually is it incredibly uninspired and overly busy in places, which can make the occasional frame drops quite frustrating. The mix between first-person shooting mechanics and freerunning platforming make the game a blast to play. For those who want a challenging platforming title on the PS4, DeadCore is right up your alley. For casual gamers out there, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Pagan Online makes an attempt to dovetail two different genres—the ARPG and the MOBA—with mixed results. While the different heroes each have interesting abilities and character designs, the game is bogged down by an unfortunate series of grindy, free-to-play mechanics inexplicably built into a buy-to-play game.

Satisfying fun with a great soundtrack at its best, visual mess with a great soundtrack most of the rest of the time.

Nearly Dead - Live and Let Die is an okay game to play with buddies and even alone. However, don’t expect the world from it.

Regardless of how pretty the world of Days Gone is to look at, it’s a game that tried too much and truly suffered from it. The story drags on, the writing for characters is so inconsistent it becomes infuriating, the entire camp system adds more bloat to the game and nothing really feels as good as it should. The main selling point of the game, the hordes, don’t even truly matter until 30 hours into the already lengthy 40-hour game which alone is a huge misstep regardless of how enjoyable they may be when they finally appear. I know there is a solid 10 to 15-hour game within Days Gone, but there is too much unnecessary stuff that has been piled onto it that makes it a forgettable and unenjoyable experience.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a fun title but the main issues from the PC version are still very much present on the console version and it seriously hindered my enjoyment of the game.

There’s Poop in my Soup is just silly and will surely give you at least 10 minutes of poo filled entertainment. It looks and plays more like a mobile game, but that’s not saying it’s a piece of crap.

Mists Beyond The Mountains would be a perfectly average turn-based RPG if not for its acid-trip alt-history storyline and cuckoo characters. Its bizarre narrative cuts through unexceptional level design and gameplay to deliver something worth a second look.

A fun arcade-like party game in the Umihara Kawase series, the fishing rod and lure are back, but crazy knockback animations and underwhelming boss battles make the game drag in parts.

A fun albeit short puzzle game betrayed by a confusing UI and some naive design choices, this isn’t the Heath Robinson contraption game we were hoping it would be but it’s nonetheless a good time.

An '80s inspired arcade racing game with bright neon visuals and synth music. Fun to play once you unlock more vehicles, but is extremely difficult at the beginning until you can ditch that first shaky car you start with that can make you feel a little queasy if you get motion sick.

With an intense and intriguing narrative, Steins;Gate 0 is a joy to play through though too many times the story slows down for sometime much more mundane. Without knowledge of the characters or larger plot of previous games, you may struggle to get the full experience.

A lack of variety and a bit of polish on the mechanics leaves the game feeling less like a release and more like a well-made flash game you might find online. With a difficulty rating that shoots sky-high in relatively little time, this is a game that only the hardest of hardcore players will complete and enjoy to its full potential.

With a less than impressive story, poor design choices, and technical problems aplenty. Metro Exodus ends up being a disappointing end to what is otherwise a brilliant series.
