It is possibly the best open world that you can visit, held back by a main story that’s a bit too archaic. On the whole, it’s still highly enjoyable, so I would still highly recommend you dig into it. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth.

If you haven’t already played the game, then there’s not that much here that will make you rush out and get it, but for £7.99, nobody was really expecting that. If, like me, you really enjoyed the old-school romp as it was initially conceived, then this is more of the same with a little garnish to boot.

Awesome little puzzler that’ll do well to keep you busy when you want it to, challenging enough that it will give even the most die-hard puzzler’s brains a workout, but clever enough to not have you needing to complete the level at a time, so you can put it down and come back to it when the thermal throttling on your brain has returned to normal.

Airheart - Tales of Broken Wings is an intense twin-stick shooter that at times will have you on the edge of your seat. It’s unfortunate that Ubisoft decided to end with something so weak. The first two DLC were fantastic fun, but Dead Living Zombies fails to be innovative, with a very light coating on top of a glorified Zombie Mode. It does its job well as a Gundam-style mech shooter, but it just doesn’t do quite enough to keep me going back in for more action. As harsh as this review can be read, given the game design basics Fumiko! breaks throughout the game. It’s saving grace is the use of lite narrative to sell an interesting concept, and its use of steller music choice, stops this review from becoming a critical breakdown on everything wrong in the game. Because for every step forward Fumiko! makes, it takes two steps back - and makes the floor transparent. A word of warning, not for the visually impaired. Even my eyes needed a break after two hours.
