You'll get more than your $30 worth from this nifty little package. Nearly two decades later, Genesis still does what Nintendon't.- GameDaily

The motion controls needed tweaking and it's sad that the game lacks multiplayer. In the end, however, these Creatures will send shivers down your spine and put a smile on your face.- GameDaily

Although the stages look decent, hideous camera angles make viewing the action a chore and with short levels taking a few minutes to get through, it's only made worse by repetitious hack n' slash gameplay. The unappealing story further hurts the game, and we had trouble liking the main character's annoying Paris Hilton-style.- GameDaily

Hardcore hockey fans might find NHL Arcade too simple, with its lack of official teams, arenas or any kind of tournament mode. However, it's loads of fun against friends, online or off.- GameDaily

The gameplay is still as addictive as ever, as you tear a hole through the Bydo Empire using power-ups such as reflective lasers and missiles. The difficulty is incredibly high (bullets come at you from every direction), but the newly added stage select and Infinity options relieve some frustration.- GameDaily

Newcomers may enjoy this remake, but everyone else should stick with the superior (and inexpensive) PS2 version.- GameDaily

The luscious graphics do bring out the finer qualities of the anime, complete with striking water-brushed backdrops and fluid animation. It's a shame the camera constantly needs to be adjusted, though.- GameDaily

Skate 2 is also an ideal choice for multiplayer action, thanks to enjoyable online skating sessions; solo players will also love the career mode.- GameDaily

The graphics look decent (despite some broken animations), and the game allows players to smash both Orcs and Hobbits. That said, the mindless button mashing grows redundant and some enemies are mind-numbingly difficult.- GameDaily

Custom set lists and a new No Fail mode means you can play however and as long as you want. Buy Rock Band 2 and rock through the house.- GameDaily

If the lame "fetch" quests don't bore you, the ridiculously bad mini-games will. Buy one of the earlier releases (for half the price, if not cheaper) and leave this World behind.- GameDaily

Although it would've been nice to have more modes besides Arcade, Planets and the boost-happy Impact (there's no sign of Survival or Endless), this gorgeous shoot-em-up is worth its $10 price tag.- GameDaily

You'll double-tap to roll him under things, tap along walls to jump, draw a slash mark in the middle of objects to slice them and so on. While novel, it makes precision jumps nearly impossible. This results in a lot of trial and error, and if you beat the game, there's little reason to play it again.- GameDaily

The adventure ends sooner than expected (10-12 hours), but it's worth every breathtaking moment. This is one of 2008's best.- GameDaily

The card battling system works, although not as well as it did on the GBA. Sadly, this re-imagining has come a bit too late for a series ready for its PS3 debut.- GameDaily

It's a beautiful game with brief glimpses of what a 3-D Sonic game should be like, but even the pretty visuals aren't enough to carry this failure.- GameDaily
