If you can get past the wonky physics and the occasional slow down you’re looking at a fun time that ultimately should probably be limited to a rental.

Grandia III is nowhere near perfect and it's definitely not one of the better rpgs on the system. But the battles are so much fun that most won't really mind when the story falls to pieces. [JPN Import]

The graphics are really basic for a PS2 game, but the cinematics look incredible. The on-foot mode is just plain boring, ... and most of the game concentrates on that mode, sadly. [JPN Import]

This game is quite an enjoyable experience that lasts through a complete 100 levels. That's right a hundred puzzle-packed levels, with the last 20 being the hardest and will make your eyes bleed from the sheer thoughts. [JPN Import]

So while the first game was a fun mindless DS launch title the sequel turns out to be more of the same with a bit more polish. This is the type of game where if you love it you love it and if you hate it you hate it. [JPN Import]

The ten year old puzzles are still there, graphics are the same mostly, and you still have to use ribbons to save. On the other hand door and cutscenes can be skipped, loading in between areas is almost instantaneous, and DS frills are fun. [JPN Import]

It's a great no-brainer game that's nice to sit and play while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and some cookies. It's definitely not a game for those that don't already enjoy the odd quirkiness of the newer Nintendo games that have been coming out. [JPN Import]

Irregular Hunter X will satisfy your need for some side-scrolling shooting. The game is exactly the same as the original although with a few changes to keep things fresh. [JPN Import]

Has everything an action game fan would like: Incredible relentless gameplay, great graphics, and this time a bunch of new features including playing as the powerful Vergil.

For an RPG, I would expect better characters, something mildly interesting in the story and original landscapes, but here this is pretty much as average as you can get.

It doesn't take any time to learn how to play. You can spend a lot of time playing with each species, but it's easy to burn out on the game if you play it constantly right after you buy it.

The biggest unique feature to the online component of DOA 4 is definitely the psychedelic crack land known as the lobby...The lobby is so strange and so far removed from what DOA is visually that you really feel like the developers went a bit mad at some point and threw this in for a laugh and a half.

The game has a great story, one of my favorite stories in a game, offers fun RPG gameplay, so it's a great game for just about every RPG fan, or at least people who loved this game before.

Although there are times where you may just smash the PSP out of frustration (I bit my PSP), the game of course offers very many puzzles that will keep you thinking and will be more than rewarding on its part.

Possibly one of the greatest titles ever released on the Nintendo DS system.

It's a great multi-player game, but single player can get very tedious.

PoPoLoCrois tries not to overwhelm the player with story and focuses a lot on the fun, rich gameplay that the player comes to expect from a portable title.

The only feature of the DS used is the double screens, and it's used pretty well too. I wouldn't want it any different.

If you’re looking for a quick trip down memory lane or just a seriously intense shooter with a really funny backdrop them Smash TV might be worth your while. On the other hand you might want to just save that $5 for tax on Oblivion or some other game you’re likely to get way more than a couple hours worth of gameplay out of.

Although it has annoying voices, the gameplay is top-notch and the game is just really fun to play. It also offers many unlockables and modes to keep you coming for more.

While Geometry Wars is simple in nature, it’s definitely a well thought out and executed puzzle shooter that fans of Asteroids and other 80s classics will enjoy.

A great, if not short, game that anyone who liked the movie and who owns a 360, or any other console for that matter, will certainly enjoy.

For some reason when you go online the graphics get downgraded, weapons are changed, and unlike the PC version it only supports 8 players.

The conversion from console to handheld was pretty nice, it still retains the fun VJ feel as well as the stylish gameplay. And the touch screen puzzles are very nice.

There’s a ridiculous amount of replayability and for those looking for a good deal in the length department you won’t be disappointed. Honestly it does grow on you and can turn out to be a great purchase or rental if look past all its many shortcomings.

If they had released this one for the original XBOX it might have been much more acceptable but as it’s a launch title for the 360 I can’t help but feel it’s not worth your money.

If you like FPS games on consoles, great immersion, true nextgen graphics, variety in single player, fun smooth multiplayer, and everything else good listed above then you’re going to want to at least rent this 15 hour classic.

It’s a well constructed game that lacks in the gameplay department. The atmosphere and story presentation alone garner a rental but the length and fighting make it nothing more than a rental.
