Revolution revived the Broken Sword with The Serpent's Curse, which is rudely divided (we could say "broken") in two parts. This first episode of the investigation is pleasant to follow, and even a little easy, it offers some of what fans expect from this point & click series: the humor of unusual characters and a funny world of clichés, but it misses the dark fantastic side, pushed back to the next episode. So, we keep a cool head and we wait for Episode 2.- Gameblog.fr

Battle of Z suffers from bad cameras and sometimes muddled gameplay, but it is still a nice brawling game... that really needs to be played online if you want to enjoy it.- Gameblog.fr

Not a great way to end this season, unfortunately. From the Gallows is not bad but feels like a rushed way to conclude the Javi's story.- Gameblog.fr

Inspired by venerable recipes, Sweet Witches taste good, but such charming flavours lack some depth to enchant arcade lovers long enough.- Gameblog.fr

Even if it offers some new ways to play that can make the formula evolve in the right direction, Far Cry: New Dawn suffers from having a poor story and very forgettable characters, that make it look like a Direct-to-DVD sequel to Far Cry 5. The real new dawn for the series is has yet to come.- Gameblog.fr

If it cruelly lacks madness and content to stand out, Smurfs Kart remains a correct family entertainment, in the so cute universe of Peyo.- Gameblog.fr

Suicide Squad is not the disaster that we were afraid of. But in the other hand, it's not a good game because its many flaws. The storytelling is good enough and the characters are excellent, especially Harley Quinn. There is definitely a sense of humour, the combat part offers a crisp feel like the parkour. But the game as a service structure is a huge problem.- Gameblog.fr

If you were a Kick Off fan (or still are), you will probably find what you expected: a truly difficult game to master, faithful to its roots and that doesn't want you to feel assisted. If you're not familiar with the series, you'll first notice poor visuals and lack of content. But if you take some time to master, you sure can have some good fun.- Gameblog.fr

Tokyo Crash Mobs takes the concept of Zuma and adds the Japanese idea: replacing the balls by people! In short, this is a good classic improved with a little madness, and some items that do nothing but refresh the whole experience.- Gameblog.fr

For sure, Days Gone have a good story and characters that are pleasant to follow. But missions and gameplay are too repetitive, AI is too silly, bugs and freezes too frequent (even on PS4 Pro) to have us considering it as a fully enjoyable game. Too bad.- Gameblog.fr

Classic but effective, Zenonia 4 is enlightened by its stunning graphics. Despite numerous in-app purchases, the game stays true to the series by being a solid Action-RPG with nervous gameplay.- Gameblog.fr

Nearly a decade after its release, the first episode of the Edna & Harvey duology crops up again, this time on all game consoles. On this occasion, the inventory has been redesigned, along with all the visuals and characters of the game. The experience remains the same though : a likable but slow-paced Point and Click.- Gameblog.fr

With LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, the 3DS was not far from getting its "GTA for children", with humor and a ton of things to collect. But the city is a bit small, and the graphics are limited... The game is quite easy but the formula is still really cool for the kids.- Gameblog.fr

Our feelings about Sand Land The Video Game are mixed. On one hand, this is a perfect adaptation of the manga from Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball). It's absolutely gorgeous with phenomenal cel-shading and all the characters that we love. But the open world formula is too classic and the game suffers from a slow pace, narratives issues and a lack from impactful moments.- Gameblog.fr

SoulCalibur is a stunning exemple of technical excellency in an iOS game. Unfortunatly, the lack of Story and Multiplayer modes, something that makes a difference between a good and a bad game in that genre, can only be considered with regret.- Gameblog.fr

After a colourful second episode, this third one feels regrettably dull. Its off-putting first part and rather short adventure both contribute heavily to the feeling. But despite its shortcomings, They Stole Max's Brain still is a decent part of the series, and belongs right there with the others. Let's just hope the fourth one will be on the up side again.- Gameblog.fr

This episode is all at once one that offers the greatest moments of the series, a few action scenes and its brutal conclusion, and one that feels a bit rushed in terms of presentation, staging and feeling that our choices are important. Let's hope this is just a little stumble before an epic ending for the whole season.- Gameblog.fr

Murasaki Baby is born of a weird yet inspired artistic approach, subtly expressed through the gameplay's metaphorical dimension. Despite a rough execution that stresses some design and ergonomic issues, Ovosonico therefore managed to create a fulfilling emotional experience.- Gameblog.fr

Five years after the critically acclaimed The Climb, it's finally time to go back on a rock-climbing game. Exclusive to Oculus Quest, The Climb 2 doesn't try to get to new heights as it offers only one new environment and it feels like it's kind of limited technically speaking. Still very enjoyable if you didn't play the first one.- Gameblog.fr

More of an extension to Storm 2 than a true new episode, Generations combines characters from both eras of the anime, the original and the Shippuden one, while retaining most of what Ninja Storm was in terms of gameplay. This last, quite comprehensive episode may still be one of the best adaptations of the anime, it also shows that CyberConnect2 needs to find new wind to save its momentum.- Gameblog.fr

Lume is a little point & click flash game whose strong suit remains mainly its artistic direction, with its handmade backgrounds, filmed in order to include the characters. This first chapter is rather simple : Lumi doesn't have power any more in his home, you need to restore it. It's really cute, but some puzzle really are too absurd. This results in some issues in terms of balancing. In the end, its also a little expensive.- Gameblog.fr

Indeed less memorable than the CG trailer that skyrocketed the buzz around its name, Dead Island still differentiates itself from the rest of the action/horror games thanks to a singular atmosphere. It's a shame its story is forgettable, its close range combat is sometimes confusing and its production values lag behind today's average, because the Banoi Island does have its charms. The survival feeling is there, and the bright sun rays won't dissipate the fear lurking around. Its RPG side with skills and weapons upgrades, online cooperative gameplay and clear identity make Dead Island a nice summer steam-venting action title.- Gameblog.fr
