Dying Light: The Beast attempts to reconnect with the original DNA that many players believed was altered by the second instalment. It features violent and impactful fights, an oppressive soundscape enhanced by Olivier Derivière's compositions, and stressful day/night cycles. This new Dying Light game defies convention to create an even stronger sense of immersion.- Gameblog.fr

Really satisfying iOS version but the content is getting stale and lot of practice is needed to master it, even if the touch gameplay is effective.- Gameblog.fr

Generous and hypnotic, Geometry Wars takes on a new dimension with superb graphics, 3D levels and new multiplayer modes. Too bad, however, that the Adventure mode is so difficult and that the quality of the soundtrack is not as good as we hoped.- Gameblog.fr

Fortunately for players of Batman: The Telltale Series, Episode 4 is a lot better than Episode 3. Captivating, fast paced and full of famous characters (who are sometimes different from what comic fans are used to) the second to last episode of this episodic games is worthy of the player's time. It's just too bad that the game isn't fully translated for non-English speaking gamers.- Gameblog.fr

Jurassic World Evolution is packed with qualities, especially for the fans of the Jurassic Park IP, but it lacks depth for now. As if the developers saved content to sell later as DLCs.- Gameblog.fr

Goetia is a bewitching good point and click with a fantastic atmosphere and a few flaws. The difficulty of the whole experience can be repulsive to some players. But old school lovers who love to look around and read before finding a solution to a puzzle, will surely get what they want.- Gameblog.fr

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 improves on a quite a few aspects of the original game like game modes and gameplay mechanics. But its microtransaction model leaves a sour taste in the player's mouth. Unlocking great players takes a very long time and the game wants to get you to buy in-game credits. But if you're patient, or spending more money isn't a problem for you, you can have a lot of fun with NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.- Gameblog.fr

If you've never played Until Dawn, go for it! Even if the price tag is still a bit high considering the changes. It's still one of the most beloved horror production, even after ten years, and his deserves his fame. It's, by far, the most good looking version available (PS5, PC) with huge improvements. If you've ever been on that ghost train, which successfully exploits the slasher genre, wait for a price drop. A pleasant remaster, yes, but not a complete remake.- Gameblog.fr

Hob reveals to be a satisfying experience. The level design is diverse and conveys a real appetite for exploration and puzzles. Alas, the fight mechanics aren't so engaging and the handheld mode is filled with technical issues.- Gameblog.fr

This first DLC as Juli Kidman focuses on atmosphere and puzzles... and it is quite frightening! The gameplay mechanics are interesting too, but the game still suffers some AI and technical issues.- Gameblog.fr

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is not a very good arcade-style football game. But it has the Captain Tsubasa's signature that offers some epic moments during its matches, and everything fans need to be hooked, like two story modes and some basic but strong ways to play with friends offline or online. It's very simplistic, quickly repetitive, but also very very enjoyable, especially if you're in need of something less serious.- Gameblog.fr

This is the Pïnball game you are looking for... especially if you are a Star Wars fan. There are 19 digital tables inspired by movies and animated series, a career mode with a lot of challenges, and you can experience them with the configuration that suits you the most en Switch (touch controls, vertical play, HD Rumble...), which makes Star Wars Pinball something very attractive, preferably on handheld mode.- Gameblog.fr

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is clearly a better game than the first Xenoverse was. Its story and universe have been fleshed out and its gameplay has been polished. Unfortunately its technical limitations refrains it from reaching its full potential.- Gameblog.fr

Castle in the Darkness seems to have the best from the 8bit era. It's good-looking, plays fine, it has many bosses and secrets that people who loved playing this kind of games on NES will love. But it's also flawed by an erratic difficulty. There are too many instadeath spikes, sometimes impossible to notice, and checkpoints are sometimes really misplaced. Still an enjoyable action platformer that will probably not please everyone looking for a simple nostalgic trip.- Gameblog.fr

The main pleasure is the fact that we have to face huge hordes of zombies. The feeling of surprise we can have during the movie of 2013 is intact. The main problem is the lack of content (not enough levels and chapters).- Gameblog.fr

It is a true pleasure to discover a beloved franchise like Total War that uses the Trojan War as a background. It is a great RTS, with some fantastic artistic value and and a few novelties that make it really interesting for this series. Nevertheless, some mechanics like the economy are a bit under-exploited, especially in mid-game until the end. Difficulty feels very odd with enemies who use and abuse the agent system to sabotage your faction.- Gameblog.fr

We.The Revolution is an interesting experience, but beyond that, the game pushes the player to make choices by following either the opinion of the different forces or himself. The scripted side of some trials and the frustrating side of Parisian life management do not necessarily help in immersion. But we must still salute the work done and We.The Revolution is a small oasis in the middle of a desert full of AAA titles.- Gameblog.fr

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition is a good way to (re)discover three legendary titles of the PS2 era. They're the same and yet very different in terms of visuals. But it's not really 100% good and even on PS5, it struggles to deliver a totally smooth experience. Not to mention that they feel a bit old if you talk about gameplay. Still effective, but be prepared.- Gameblog.fr

Syberia Remastered is definitely faithful to the spirit of the original version. Although this new version includes some welcome modernizations, it builds on the foundations of the 2002 title to bring players today a cult French point-and-click adventure story. However, it's a shame that Microids didn't take the step of remaking the game to push the concept further and perhaps avoid some of the clunky mechanics and technical flaws. Nevertheless, the game remains sincere and offers a nostalgic journey that is still worth checking out in 2025.- Gameblog.fr

Wii Party U features a generous amount of simple and varied minigames, just - if not exactly - like its predecessor. The GamePad introduces some clever ideas through the tabletop and asymmetrical house games, but those possibilities are not implemented as well into the board games, where the Wiimote remain the main tool to interact with the TV. Therefore, this Wii U version is more an addition than a real evolution.- Gameblog.fr

Chivalry 2 is an enjoyable experience. The fun is omnipresent, and you can feel the mastery of your character and your weapon during all your progression. Unfortunately, many bugs (completely broken social system and multiple crashes) destroy the experience. Wait for a patch.- Gameblog.fr

Through the Darkest of Times is a fantastic proposition and very much a necessary game to understand what it could have been like being a German, a human being, during these terrible years. Even if gameplay mechanics fall short, it's still very recommandable for anyone who needs a reminder and/or is interested in History.- Gameblog.fr

Mario Tennis Fever marks the franchise's triumphant return on the Nintendo Switch 2. Camelot and Nintendo deliver a fun, family-friendly installment designed for short, accessible play sessions for all ages. From the matches and mini-games to the animation and the integration of the frenetic tennis rackets, everything is geared towards simple entertainment. However, this casual approach comes at the expense of a genuine challenge. The overly forgiving AI and the lack of real difficulty in any game mode will push players more towards multiplayer. But even then, the title will appeal more to those seeking fun and social experiences than to hardcore competitors.- Gameblog.fr

Golf Peaks is the very same game which came out on any mobile phone store back in 2018. Without any new addition, Afterburn's puzzle game still delivers quite a dozen of pleasant challenges, thanks to its Joy-Con or touchscreen controls. Unfortunately, the game's difficulty remains unchanged, and those golf puzzles will be done in no time, leaving the player wanting for way much more.- Gameblog.fr
