Beyond the poetic eloquence of such delicate handmade animation and moving musical compositions, the main tour de force is hidden into the puzzles that subtly reflect the story's themes. A modest, yet humbling luminous piece of art.

Aladdin and The Lion King is a well-thought compilation : with only two games (plus some of their handheld variations), Nighthawk put so much extra content to please fans of both the movies and the games : interviews, guide books taken from the movies... We wish we would have more games to play, but the intention is really there.

FAR: Changing Tide is a nice journey through a flooded world on a ship that becomes one of the game's protagonists. The visuals are awesome, and the OST and sound design are in a league of their own. Just don't expect any challenge or much action in what is essentially a very calm experience.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is an interesting episode, with lots of content and a still gripping story. However, it does not revolutionize the series and we will definitely wait for the 3rd part for it.

Even if those who know the first episode can feel a bit disappointed because of the lack of new ideas, Reigns: Her Majesty is still an great way to live like a queen, thanks to its atmosphere, its funny universe and the quality of its narrative.

DOOM is a partial success : the singleplayer campagn is a glorious tribute to the first Doom, but the multiplayer is... boring.

Octopath Traveler II is a very well finished game, with a beautiful realization and music. But the game is also a bit lazy and feels like a big DLC of the first game.

Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is far from perfect, but it's an honest remaster. Yes, the game has aged, but its charm still works today. A game to discover and rediscover, despite the new version's even more striking flaws.

Minecraft Dungeons can be considered as a good way, for kids, to try a dungeon-crawler. Very cute, very simple, efficient, that game just lacks some depth and tasks that would urge players to keep on playing after finishing the, quite short, main campaign.

ARMS takes a fresh look at the old fighting game. By giving it the twist of friendly Nintendo games, it allows everyone to enjoy its new way of fighting each other. However, its roster of look-alikes make us think that the game certainly won't last long for the most demanding players.

Compilation of two visual novels that came out 10 year ago in Japan, Muv-Luv offers some pleasant adventures in which you will enjoy trying to seduce girls close to your avatar, even if their designs feel a bit old and games a bit repetitive.

FIFA 19 has a lot of content and features that will entertain players offline and online for hours. It still has authenticity with what is needed to let us feel we have control over a broadcasted football game. It is a better version than FIFA 18 but it is still too keen on delivering a too spectacular soccer experience at all costs.

A bit short but fun, Automatron doesn't fail in bringing a new way to entertain with its robot creation system that feels kind of infinite and offer some more possibilities to clean up the whole map of Fallout 4.

TOEM is a peaceful and funny journey through the eyes of a joyful photographer. With many surprises to discover and folks to help, TOEM is a (very) short but relaxing adventure, which controls could have deserved better care.

Old School Musical is much more than a funny homage to the 8 and 16 bit era. With a strong content of almost 50 tracks and a well-written story mode, La Moutarde's rhythm game delivers a strong content, but you will have to quickly switch to hard mode to face a real challenge. Too bad its classic mechanics avoid taking risks, otherwise it would have been an instant classic on its own.

If Planet Alpha is not as good and powerful as Limbo or Inside, it is indeed a gorgeous game with some clever ideas. Without a word, it invites you to a Sci-Fi trip, with some great narration and mechanics, that you should not refuse.

Despite its punitive difficulty and the rigidity, John Wick Hex remains a good adaptation of the movies. Artistic direction and the way you go into action are enjoyable and the pleasure of having managed to get out of a critical situation is a real satisfaction.

Beyond the obvious Minecraft inspiration, Dragon Quest Builders is based on a solid, subtly ironic narrative which creates not only reason for these building tasks, but also life into this 3D rendition of Alefgard. And it gets sharper on Nintendo Switch with the Great Sabrecub that literally cuts through the potentially more pixel arted Terra Incognita mode, even if such retro nostalgic additions can't counterbalance the limited sharing options and the lack of multi player, thus consolidating this fundamentally solitary experience as a whole.

Silence is a superb adventure game. Visually gorgeous, it succeeds more with its charming story and atmosphere than with its pure point'n click skills (the game is really short and easy), but this is a beautiful trip, an interactive tale you'll maybe want to share with your kids.

However, despite its multiplayer focus, this new Puyo Puyo is still home to the jovial and fun puzzle game it has always been, in its most fun, colorful and cute look on this date.

With a game like Never Alone, the grade system has its limits. Anyone who will be transported by this timeless story, escaped from a storybook, will probably forgive the various gameplay issues... the others probably won't.
