Harmonix managed to make a good rhythm game and a good Kinect game in Fantasia : Music Evolved. Even if it's not perfect and mainly lacking of classic Disney songs that could make it a perfect experience for it audience, kids, this production can entertain a few hours thanks to its mechanics and varied track list.- Gameblog.fr

Might & Magic Heroes VI seems to be handling its innovations quite nicely. They add fluidity and dynamism to an already very appealing game, the scenario of which perfectly handles the license's richness. Too bad our review version didn't allow us to judge the balancing in multiplayer enough, nor its final polishing (it was quite bugged at the time of this review).- Gameblog.fr

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare took risks, some successful, others less. The multiplayer is still extremely efficient, the Zombie mode is fun and the single player campaign offers impressive Hollywood-like sequences... But it remains "ordinary" and not surprising at all.- Gameblog.fr

Soul Sacrifice is not a kind of chimera born simply from Monster Hunter and Demon's Souls influences, because Keiji Inafune breathed a real soul into it by integrating the concept of sacrifice with the narrative, the gameplay system and the multiplayer philosophy.- Gameblog.fr

Despite its rather delicate first hours, its shortcomings, and the frustrations that the experience can bring, Crimson Desert is undeniably a unique adventure in the video game landscape. Rarely has a game so convincingly blended epic combat, exploration open to experimentation, and life simulation within such a massive yet coherent and addictive medieval fantasy open world. Pearl Abyss's title isn't for everyone and is likely to be divisive, but it will captivate the most dedicated players for hundreds of hours of pure enjoyment as they lose themselves in its breathtaking abundance. It however needs a little polish to truly shine and take its rightful place among the greatest open-world sandbox games of all time.- Gameblog.fr

Endless Space's gameplay is somewhat close to a board game. Conquest must be achieved with but one goal in mind, but you will not be able to excel if you have more than one strategy. Economy, diplomacy, military, scientific, whatever you choose, stick to it. It's only true shortcoming for the time being is a less-than-stellar AI that sometimes acts irrationally, and some mising multiplayer tools to better plan the experience.- Gameblog.fr

Costume Quest makes it clear that Double Fine may not be used to developing games for the little ones : the humor and gameplay seem shy. It dares, but not too much. If you have a 10 years old kid wandering next to your game console, Costume Quest would probably be a better fit for him than GTA IV. That said, when I was that young, I was playing Ultima II.- Gameblog.fr

This third episode delivers a new pace to the series and puts the player under a pressure that really changes the experience. Fine dialogues, new characters, new clues and an enraged Bigby, this is what makes "A Crooked Mile" an indubitable milestone for The Wolf Among Us.- Gameblog.fr

Avowed will definitely not revolutionize the RPG genre, but still represents a competent title in its category that does clearly not lack of interest and depth. Its exciting story dictated by our choices is indeed in line with the true “role-playing games” so dear to Obsidian, with superb artistic direction, and its gameplay is as dynamic as it is satisfying. However, several points may be off-putting. We can indeed blame its lifeless NPCs, a shaky balancing of difficulty in the face of a bestiary which quickly falls short in terms of diversity, like the exploration of these famous Living Lands, certainly very beautiful to contemplate, but a bit redundant in the long run.- Gameblog.fr

Through the painting of a dystopian society controlled by a powerful corporation, this narrative experience fascinates as much as it disturbs. It interrogates the player about transhumanism and virtual reality in a very original way, directly involving him in the heart of his reflection. This episode is more surrealistic than ever, but such paranormal phenomenons boost the gameplay, while time travels expand the scope of this universe, and alleviate the linearity of the story. So let's kick the future!- Gameblog.fr

Transformers : War for Cybertron is a solid TPS, although a quite straightforward one if you play it alone. Going multiplayer gives it added depth, since using and mixing powers in teamplay make it more interesting to play. Alas, its lack of inspiration in terms of level design, its annoying frame rate issues, improvable story and french voice acting, as well as its average production values and too few multiplayer maps are a disappointment. However, for absolute fans of the franchise, it remains one of if not the best adaptation of the show, giving back their pride to Autobots and Decepticons!- Gameblog.fr

As usual, EA Sports tries mostly to upgrade the previous edition instead of trying to revolutionize. NHL 20 has some strong new animations, a new visual identity, game modes that feel better than ever and the whole feels smoother. It's solid but lacks some unforgettable feature to be a true star.- Gameblog.fr

If you like the classic souls-like formula, Wuchang Fallen Feathers is a truly exemplary textbook case, but which adds some very welcome touches of originality to freshen up the experience. The Chinese title thus offers a generous, exhilirating adventure, with a level design that is as well executed as it is beautiful to contemplate, and spectacular fights, perhaps a little too much against bosses with increasingly unbridled power requiring you to have a near-perfect mastery of its gameplay. In any case, the Middle Kingdom has here again a very good big-budget game, which proves solid in everything it undertakes, but perhaps a little too conventional for those allergic to a genre that is nowadays a bit saturated.- Gameblog.fr

Four years after its original release, Valiant Hearts celebrates the centenary of the Armistice with this Switch release. With the same strong experience remaining unchanged, it still is a pleasure to (re)discover Emile or Kurt's destinies, thanks to the beautiful UbiArt Framework. With only two bonuses taking the form of an animated comic book and a regular artbook, Valiant Hearts still deserves another look, whether or not you already experienced it.- Gameblog.fr

The Gunstringer only lacks a deeper formula to truly shine. Indeed, the almost non-existent difficulty will probably render the experience quite dull for any core gamer, but the fun of the shooting sequences and the originality of the whole formula, and especially its presentation, will charm more casual gamers.- Gameblog.fr

For its first shot in the beloved galaxy far, far away, Ubisoft Massive makes a convincing show of Force, in an open world formula relatively well adapted. At its best, Star Wars Outlaws is a very good blend between action-adventure and stealth games, especially thanks to the adorable addition of Nix. It's also one of the most beautiful and immersive Star Wars games to date, that pays a lovely tribute to this monument of the pop-culture. The whole experience is although marred by a conventional story, with rather cliché characters, some frustrating bug mostly rare bugs, and the terrible AI that has plagued Ubisoft games for years. Nevertheless, this is definitely a good Star Wars Games, which could spark a new hope for the return of Ubisoft at its peak.- Gameblog.fr

Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 is indeed an enhanced version of the previous one, but it still holds the same shortcomings. Two in particular are particularly displeasing : no way to personally manage your mana, and no way to create your own decks with the cards of this edition. It still is an affordable and fun way to start playing Magic : The Gathering, or to enjoy casually a game or two once in a while against human players through the internet, despite its limited card collection and the two aforementioned flaws.- Gameblog.fr

A lovely but not flawless start. With some familiar elements and new additions that can make it feel quite fresh, this first episode shows some great potential, in terms of possibilities and challenges, for what's to come. But beware of its awkward AI and loading times that can really, really be boring. Some things never change, one would say.- Gameblog.fr

A fascinating survival-horror game. Despite some surprising shortcomings, in particular a perfectible playability and combat system, ZombiU puts the player at the center of a zombicalypse like no other game. The extremely well polished atmosphere, high difficulty and asymmetrical gameplay ideas deliver an intense experience that all fans of horror and survival themed games should live.- Gameblog.fr
