The PS4 version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is visually stunning and still offers a very well written story, with an enchanting atmosphere and superb technical achievement, even if you feel sometimes running around in circles and a slightly slower pace story.- Gameblog.fr

My Friend Pedro is an enchanting action game, that lets you kill dozens and dozens of henchmen with a lot of style, and a huge smile on your face. That's all we asked for, and we surely would have loved some more, but it's totally fine like this - except if you like interesting stories that make sense, which is not the case here.- Gameblog.fr

Remnant: From the Ashes is doing well at mixing Dark Souls-like gameplay and TPS action games. It also has a great universe, but the procedural features of the levels are a bit annoying.- Gameblog.fr

20 years after its first release, the Ace Attorney series reminds us how strong and unpredictable Shu Takumi's writing feels. With those linked three episodes, there is no reason not to enter the courtroom once again, even though Capcom could frankly have worked on some tiny options and bonuses to please the fans of old Nick.- Gameblog.fr

Dragonfall is a nice add-on for Shadowrun Returns, offering nice gameplay additions and moreover a good story. Too bad it is a little too expensive though.- Gameblog.fr

The return of Company of Heroes is full of nice surprises. Sadly, the single player part is clearly missing, the promising single player campaign does not bring any challenge. Fortunately the co-op and multiplayer are excellent.- Gameblog.fr

Stellar Blade is a very good and generous action game. Short of being transcendent and going all the way, this PS5 exclusive makes a point of succeeding in everything it touches, ticking all the boxes of the perfect AAA. Dynamic, demanding combat, exploration, a bit of open-world action and top-notch graphics - it's all there. On the other hand, like its heroine, the game is superficial. It over-sexualizes its central character without ever taking care of her or exploiting her full potential, and it always wisely stays within the box, never taking any risks. Too bad, because Stellar Blade has a lot to offer. If it proves a success, we'll no doubt be seeing more of Eve in the near future.- Gameblog.fr

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a jewel, a narrative and immersive adventure that captures your attention for hours. Artistically stunning, the game is also of great musical and auditory beauty and it is clear that the game is a true masterpiece.- Gameblog.fr

Not much to say: F1 fans will undoubtedly take on this F1 2012 with delight, it's been polished in almost every way. Prettier, faster, it also boasts a successful dynamic weather and despite some little shortcomings, it remains THE standard for Formula 1 racing.- Gameblog.fr

Ninja Theory took a very big risk with Hellblade 2, and the gamble paid off in part. By moving away from the extreme darkness of the first game, the studio avoids taking the easy way out or creating a feeling of repetition. Now, the title also has a more conformist form, a rhythm, dispensable NPCs and certain flaws that have only been ironed out, which may not appeal as much as the more intimate, anxiety-inducing first experience. A interesting game, but not a fantastic sequel or the masterpiece it could have been.- Gameblog.fr

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a grotesque battle royale dressed as a party-game, which gives hopes to 60 poor candidates to triumph over all the others every five minutes or so. Fun, colorful and justly unfair, Mediatonic's game just need to bridge the distance with new stages and a better interface with its second season.- Gameblog.fr

Through such arduous trials, the Champions' Ballad pushes Breath of the Wild's mechanics to their limits, whether combat or puzzles. Hence this quest leads to discover all the subtleties of the gameplay, and explore this world deeper with no stone left unturned. Although the riddles are often composed of familiar refrains while the delicate, then ultimately moving narrative remains in the background, this expansion makes The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild even more unforgettable.- Gameblog.fr

Five years later, God of War III is still a great beat them all to play. It has not aged a bit in terms of gameplay and its remastering makes it definitely look great to all eyes. Not essential for those who already know the game, but clearly interesting if you've never played it before on PS3.- Gameblog.fr

With its looney storyline, hilarious dialogs, and end credits that should bring tears to the eyes of emotive fanboys, The City That Dares Not Sleep proves once again Telltale's domination on crazy point & click adventure games. A perfect conclusion to a near perfect season, highly recommended.- Gameblog.fr

WRC 9 feels more like a big update than a deep evolution of the series. It is a little and already a lot because the game has sufficient quality to justify its purchase. As long as you are already a fan of the discipline. Either way you don't really have a choice if you want to drive in a virtual WRC championship.- Gameblog.fr

If one word can summurise Black Myth Wukong, it would be : generous. In both good and bad. Game Science's title is indeed a beautiful adventure paying a convincing tribute to the mythical Journey to the West. We really feel like a mighty hero of the Chinese legends, in an epic saga that crushes us under its majesty. For its first AAA game, the Chinese studio offers us a great show with a visible enthusiasm. Perhaps too much. Some way too grandiose boss fights are marred by a frustrating lack of visibility and a rather unbalanced difficulty. Nonetheless, we were truly pleasantly surprised by this Action-RPG mixed with Souls-like elements from China. For a first shot (with a stick) in the big league of games, Black Myth Wukong makes its entry with flying colors. Such a prospect is promising for the other ambitious upcoming Chinese titles.- Gameblog.fr

Like an old magical book, the dust just needed to be wiped off carefully to reawaken Dragon Quest VII's huge power. And that's exactly what ArtePiazza did, illuminating this world remelted through the third dimension, while multiple gameplay adjustments provide a more fluid experience. Fragments of the Past also kept very conservative traditions, hence embarking on such a long journey with so ancient - though proven - equipment demands real commitment. But by taking its time to tell the story, this generous episode delivers a sense of freedom, mystery, then a deep feeling of accomplishment at the end, treasures that are still rare these days.- Gameblog.fr

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a great homage to the Donkey Kong Country series, mixing its 2D mechanics with a 3D worl map to explore. The last level is always accessible to try out, but the collectibles you will find along your journey gives the game a tiny feels of an RPG. With so many secrets to fond across both the levels and the environment, there are plenty interesting things to look out in PlayTonic's second game.- Gameblog.fr

Kena Bridge of Spirits is more than a promising start from Ember Lab. Not only does it shine through its visuals and the presence of those little creatures called Rots, this action and adventure game that looks like an animated film offers an overall experience that is certainly a bit classic, a little young in some aspects, but perfectly condensed to allow both gameplay and storytelling to satisfy players who are looking for a nice trip to take after several periods of lockdown. Magical.- Gameblog.fr

Another World is an old game. Playing it again today brings back a lot of memories, some of which were true twenty years ago, but today, not anymore. Fortunately, the touch screen controls have been well implemented, the addition of checkpoints and the graphical overhaul (keeping the original gorgeous visual style) bring out the fun of re-discovering this adventure, even though it's one that is more based upon memory than skill. But when you are not an oldie yourself, you may rant against its difficulty, a really short lifespan (when not accounting for retries) and a gameplay that are... out of this world.- Gameblog.fr

A nice blend of Tower Defense and Action/RPG gameplay, Dungeon Defenders uses the carrot (characters with a persistant progression even when you fail) and the stick (a Dark Souls-like difficulty) with talent. The artistic direction and really punishing gameplay may be its worst shortcomings, but playing cooperatively with three friends still is a very nice experience.- Gameblog.fr

If you're new to the over-the-top combat games and didn't yet try the Marvel vs. Capcom series, it would be pure madness to miss this one. On several levels, it's purely spectacular. But if you already payed Marvel vs Capcom 3 last february and are not a pro, maybe it's time to say no, thanks. Unless you're rich.- Gameblog.fr

Released long after the successive reissues of the other two Final Fantasy of the PlayStation, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered does not suffer from the defects found in these different versions (loop music, mobile interface of bad taste ...) and therefore legitimately bears his name. Nothing extraordinary compared to the original game, no additional content offered to fans for example, but a new quality varnish that enhances the original experience and allows you to dive in the best way possible.- Gameblog.fr

With Fire Emblem Three Hopes, Omega Force once again proves its ability to unite opposing universes and create an adaptation that works almost perfectly. Provided you have a strong liver and can withstand repetitiveness that can quickly become indigestible. Three Hopes inherits nearly all of the genre's inherent flaws, but manages to gloss over them with deep gameplay and exhilarating micro-management, provided you're fond of that sort of thing. Addictive in its own way, the game is nonetheless too long for its own good. To consume with moderation.- Gameblog.fr

Shantae looks lovelier than ever in high definition, swaying hips more voluptuously to boot. However the wonderful belly dancer lost some charm through her cartoonish traits, despite a wider array of powers. Inspired by the trends, particularly crowdfunding, Half-Genie Hero openly embraces an episodic structure, confining exploration meanwhile. A more straight(way)forward approach, but this episode falls a little short in comparison to the scale of the previous trilogy, unless upcoming DLCs prove otherwise.- Gameblog.fr
